James and Andy stopped chatting and began fighting. Andy didn't waste time and started using his strongest spells. James, however, didn't want to end their fight so early, so he held back at first, so he could give Andy a false sense of security, which would cause him to become a little reckless.
Andy used various types of elemental magic and began bombarding James from all sides, showcasing his skill in wielding magic as he tried to kill him. To his surprise, James dodged all his attacks except the last one.
James put on a show and used a fraction of his power, so it seemed as if he had gotten a little stronger than before, but not as strong as he actually is.
Andy was a little concerned, as he saw James near effortlessly dodge his attacks, but he was pleased at the fact that he couldn't dodge everything, so he didn't out his guard all the way up, and James saw that Andy wasn't taking him too seriously, which put James in a good mood, to the point where he almost let it show on his face.
Andy began to speak to James and attempted to taunt him, but James didn't say much back and just kept countering and dodging. James built up a fake pattern as to how he dodges and counters, so Andy could analyze it and attempt to put all his attack power into one attack, within the pattern, as a means to finish James off with little effort. James and Andy fought for a few more minutes before Andy caught on to James's fake pattern, and he decided to take a gamble, similar to what James had anticipated he might do, but since James knew what was going to happen, he planned to use his after-image skill to confuse Andy, so he would attack the after-image whilst he ran up behind him.
Andy fell for James's scheme and gathered all his magic power to attack a mere shadow that was left there by James. Andy thought he might have won, but as he let his guard down, he suddenly got a sword stuck into him from behind.
Andy didn't have the strength to try and dash away or even heal himself if he was to somehow get the sword out of him, so he fell to his knees and looked back to see images of Bilard and Albert behind him, before they faded, and James emerged.
