Chapter 217 - Chapter 216

Chapter 216 Perfect Conclusion

Though both were minority races, the giants' living conditions were worlds apart from other species.

One only needed to know that Marine Headquarters had many giant vice admirals to understand the difference.

The Giant Kingdom's relationship with the World Government wasn't bad, even though they weren't even a member nation.

Ultimately, it came down to the disparity in strength. Who in this world would discriminate against the world's strongest nation, the strongest race?

People couldn't wait to curry favor with them.

So naturally, pulling such a nation into an alliance of minority races wouldn't be as easy as it had been with the previous groups.

"Moreover, the World Government has strong opinions about this matter," The Giant King said, scratching his head with some consternation.

"Just before your arrival, the World Government sent agents here," Prince Loki stepped forward and said seriously. "They hoped Father would refuse your invitation."

Tesoro snorted coldly. "Not surprising in the least."

Indeed.

It would be absurd if the government actually wanted to see such an alliance established.

Though even all the world's minority races combined would still be a small fraction compared to humanity's numbers, this would still be a force not to be underestimated.

Tesoro felt a headache coming on. Convincing them didn't seem easy.

"However, I don't care what the government thinks," the Giant King said, his smile unwavering as he looked at Brett. "I just feel I need a more compelling reason."

Tesoro looked toward Brett.

Old friend, now it's time for that silver tongue of yours.

Brett slowly exhaled.

Was convincing The Giant King really so difficult?

He thought for a moment. "Because it will be strong."

"Strong?" The Giant King raised an eyebrow.

"Together, we'll build a force that even the World Government won't dare underestimate—one that surpasses even the Pirate Emperors!" Brett spoke earnestly, lifting his head to meet the Giant King's enormous eyes directly. "We'll become a power capable of changing the world itself!"

"Powerful! Hahahaha!" The Giant King laughed heartily. "That's certainly a difficult reason to refuse!"

This was precisely what the giants had always pursued.

"Brett, you've almost convinced me!" The Giant King looked at Brett encouragingly.

"Furthermore, we can provide the giant race with many usable goods," Brett said.

The giants' natural gifts made them invincible on the battlefield, the world's most fearsome race.

But their massive bodies also made it difficult for them to enjoy the fruits of human civilization. Many human products were simply unusable for them.

However, with special design considerations, it wasn't impossible.

"A perfect reason!" The Giant King laughed heartily, slapping his thigh forcefully. "Very well, I agree to this alliance!"

Huh?

That simple? He'd expected it to be much more difficult, but that was it?

Tesoro was stunned.

Brett's lips curved into a smile.

Because he'd heard it clearly.

From the very beginning, The Giant King had held an expectant attitude toward this alliance.

It was actually quite simple.

Probably because he felt that Brett's Fish-Man Island was qualified to cooperate with them.

"Then, a pleasure doing business," Brett smiled.

"A pleasure!" The Giant King nodded, then suddenly grinned. "However, Brett, I have one more request!"

Brett could hear how much he was looking forward to this.

"What request?"

"How about visiting the Giant Kingdom periodically to fight me?" That's what the King said.

Brett couldn't help but smile. "Of course, no problem."

Could it be he'd simply agreed to the alliance because he wanted Brett to fight him?

Honestly, given this country's culture and the Giant Kings's personality, it wasn't impossible.

"Well then, everyone's happy!" Tesoro laughed heartily.

With this, the most important goal of their voyage had been achieved.

They would establish the strongest alliance, possessing power surpassing even the Pirate Emperors.

"Oh right, Tesoro, was it?" The Giant King looked at Tesoro. "Morgans already told me about your matter. No problem!"

"Haha, we giants have never produced any big stars!"

"You will soon!" Tesoro immediately broke into a grin, his eyes nearly disappearing into slits.

And his company would gain a new giant star.

The more he thought about it, the more he believed his plan had tremendous potential.

Gathering people of different races to form an unprecedented idol group—what brilliant bastard genius had come up with such an exquisite idea?

Brett glanced sideways at Tesoro.

Even without listening to his thoughts, the smugness on his face was obvious.

"Finally," the Giant King looked at Katakuri, who had remained silent throughout. He snorted coldly. "Go back and tell Charlotte Linlin! We giants have nothing to discuss with her."

Katakuri showed no particular disappointment, merely nodding calmly.

This matter no longer held much importance for him.

He'd already found what he truly wanted to do.

"Well then, next—" Brett pulled out a Den Den Mushi. "Let's have our final discussion about establishing this alliance."

Though he'd already negotiated with all the races, those had been one-on-one discussions between Brett and each nation. A meeting with all parties participating hadn't yet been held.

Now was that opportunity. If they wanted this alliance to be more than just empty words, all nations needed to be actively involved.

"I see," the Giant King nodded. "Then let's finish this quickly. I can't wait to hold a feast welcoming our friends!"

"Of course," Brett smiled back.

The multi-party conference call began.

Brett had already discussed the specifics with them previously. This meeting was essentially a formal alliance ceremony.

Since each race was scattered across the world, gathering all their leaders for an in-person meeting would be extremely difficult, so doing it symbolically over the phone would suffice.

The real key was ensuring their future cooperation would be genuine.

So the meeting went very smoothly.

They quickly finalized all the specific terms of the alliance. Essentially, each group would cooperate and assist one another going forward, maintaining a unified stance toward the outside world.

"Then, I hereby declare," Brett held the Den Den Mushi, his face bearing a brilliant smile, "the Minority Races Alliance is established today."

"Ohh!"

Cheers rang out from the phone.

The Giant King sitting nearby laughed like thunder.

"To celebrate, let's have a feast!"
