This was a fun chapter, nothing to worry about here. :3

*At Pigsy's Noodles, Mei, Tang, Pigsy, Miwa, and Mk watch as the Mayor speaks from a small podium.*
"Thank you for this amazing turnout." said the Mayor, wearing a big creepy smile.
"Woo-hoo! Let's hear it for Monkie Kid! And Luna Kid! Heroes of the city!" Mei cheered.
"Why did I agree to this, I would much rather train with papa or dad. Just to get out of this." Miwa thought to herself.
"As mayor, I hereby give Monkie Kid and Luna Kid the key to our fair city." The Mayor gave Mk the key, while staring deeply at Miwa still wearing the creepy smile.
Miwa took a step away, not liking the way the Mayor was staring at her. Let alone the feeling that she knew him from somewhere.
"Um, uh, what does this key do, exactly?" Mk asked, gaining the Mayor's attention.
"Oh, you'll love this. It has the power to open anything!" said the Mayor, smiling at him.
Miwa took a glance at the key, raising an eyebrow before taking it from Mk's hands to have a closer look.
"Ooh, anything? Like a pet shop full of puppies?" Mei asked out of curiosity and excitement.
The moment Miwa was holding the key she got a cold, creepy and somewhat familiar feeling from it. To which she didn't like and quickly gave it back to Mk. "Something isn't right about this key, nor this so-called mayor."
"Yes. Or the door to a lion's cage, or an orphan's piggy bank, an imprisoned mystic power source. Whatever you like! Today, you can do no wrong. You've got my permission. 'Cause I'm the mayor!" said the Mayor, letting out a maniac laugh.
"Creepy." Miwa whispered to Mk as the Mayor poofed away.
"Huh. I'm starting to think, that's maybe not the mayor." said Mei looking at the others.
"He is so not the mayor, if anything he seems more like a creepy cult guy." said Miwa shaking her head.
"Mimi, you watch way too many movies." said Mei with a deadpan look.
Miwa gave a slight shrug to that statement. "With dad and papa keep visiting at random times, I end up watching a lot of random stuff."
"Wow. A key that can open anything." said Mk staring with big eyes on the key.
"Oh no...." Miwa saw the look on Mk and Mei's faces and before she knew it she got dragged around with them.
The first place they went to was the arcade, Mk and Mei kept using the key on each machine so they could win more prizes. While Miwa wasn't that much into it since that key was giving her a bad feeling, and having touched it once she didn't want to touch it again.
Miwa observed her friends having fun, but her thoughts kept going back to the fake mayor and the key. "Something isn't right with that man, I should take a closer look into this later."
"Mimi hurry up! Mei got another idea on what we can use the key for!" shouted Mk waving his arms in the air.
"Coming! Coming!" Miwa quickly got up to them, giving a small smile when they used the key to open another door and a few animals came out.
Next stop was some stores where Mei bought most of the stuff, while Miwa and Mk had trouble carrying all of the stuff.
"This is getting tiring, very quickly." Miwa complained with a heavy sigh.
"I know what to try next!" Mk shouted, grabbing both of Mei and Miwa's wrists and started dragging them along to the next place. It kept going like this for the rest of the day.
Throughout their whole adventure with the key, Miwa couldn't help but get the feeling that they were being watched, mostly her of the three and it made her a little nervous.
"Mei! Miwa! Okay, hear me out. We knew the key could magically unlock anything. But maybe, it can also magically lock anything too!" said Mk, gaining his friends' attention.
"You literally just described all keys." said Mei, raising an eyebrow.
"Sure, yeah, fine. But do you know what this means? Having this key, this power. It's so much responsibility. But I know what we need to do." said Mk with a growing smirk.
"Oooh I see what you are going with." said Miwa quickly catching on to what he had in mind, as a smirk grew on her face.
*A few hours later, at Pigsy's Noodles.*
Pigsy tries to open the shop door, but it doesn't budge. "What the? Ow! My back!" He kicks and punches the door. "Please! Let me in! Let me into my noodle shop!"
Up by Mk's house, was Mk, Miwa and Mei laughing out loud watching Pigsy having trouble opening the door to his shop.
"I wish we had this key all the time. I don't think I've had this much fun in forever." said Mk through laughter.
"I have to agree, this is the most fun I've had in days." said Miwa, wiping away a tear from laughing so much.
*Suddenly, a burst of flame blows a hole through the front of Mk's house, from the smoke, Redson appears.*
"Noodle boy, Noodle girl finally!" said Redson with an evil smile.
"What are you doing in Mk's house!?" Mei shouted.
"Why are you in Mk's house!?" Miwa shouted, narrowing her eyes at him.
"You better not have touched my stuff!" shouted Mk as he pointed a finger at him.
"Do you know how long I've been waiting here for you? Your house is... depressing. I almost feel bad taking things from you, buuut I'm going to need that magic key." said Redson, going on to try and take the key, but Miwa acted quickly by swinging her staff at him.
"Fuck no! You aren't taking that key." Miwa grabbed the key with one of her tails, and held her staff ready for a fight.
Redson's right eye started twitching slightly in annoyance, looking at Miwa. "You wanna play it like that, Noodle girl." He charged at her and started fighting her.
Miwa blocked his attacks and tried fighting back, she landed a few hits on him but with each swing. She could feel her left arm growing weaker and it was getting harder to ignore the pain coming from it.
Redson took notice of her struggles by how she was getting slower and the painful look on her face, so he took advantage of it by aiming his attacks at her left arm until she stumbled over in pain. Taken the chance, he easily took the key. "Yoink! So long, Noodle boy! Noodle girl!"
Redson got in his truck and drove away at full speed, laughing.
"Oh no, the key!" shouted Mk while having run over to Miwa and check that she was okay.
Miwa had dropped her staff and was now holding her left arm that was still in pain. "That motherfucker, he'll pay for this!" A cosmic aura started surrounding her by the growing rage coming from her. Getting up she grabbed her staff and began skating right after him.
Mei whistles, summoning her bike and speeding after the Inferno Truck.
"Wait for me! No, Mei, and Miwa it's all good. I definitely don't want a ride." Mk pulls the staff from his ear. "It's totally fine..."
Miwa was picking up speed in the air with her eyes focused on Redson's truck that she didn't notice someone was watching her.
"I see him just ahead!" shouted Miwa to Mei, who was right behind her on her bike.
"Last one to reach him, pays for the next arcade visit!" shouted Mei, speeding up with Miwa catching up to her.
"You're on!" A smug grin grew on Miwa's face and was going at full speed in the air.
Redson was driving through the streets until he took notice that he was being followed. "Can't you and your peasant friends just let me plot in peace just one time?!"
Mei let out a laugh. "Red flames are cool! Wanna see green ones?!"
"Forget green and red flames! How about cosmic flames!" Cosmic energy surrounded Miwa as she ran straight towards them.
"What?!" shouted Redson as the three of them were now racing each other.
Miwa had a playful look in her eyes that for a moment was glowing golden, but no one took notice of it. With the speed she was going at, she almost looked like a shooting star surrounded by red cosmic energy.
"Stop wriggling!" shouted Redson trying to lose Mei and Miwa that was still following him.
"Does it get boring? Us beating you all the time? You know we're going to get that key back, right?" said Mei driving right next to him.
"Might as well give it back to us already, before it gets ugly." said Miwa as she was now skating backwards with a smug look on her face. "It would make everything so much easier for us all."
Redson let out a frustrated groan and changed seats in his truck, that lost the upper part of it so he was now driving a racing car.
"Huh, that is actually pretty cool. I'm impressed." said Miwa, easily dodging the loose parts that came off his vehicle. While Mei had to get off her bike to dodge them.
"So long, Dragon Horse Girl! Here's a tip, next time pick one animal and–" Redson got cut off mid sentence by Mk using his staff to crash his car.
"So, looks like you reach the end of the line, Redson. What are you even going to do with this anyway?" said Mk picking up the key that Redson had dropped.
"Why spoil the surprise? Now hand the key over and quick wasting my time." said Princess Iron Fan who had just shown up.
"How about, no." said Miwa and went for the attack with the others.
Princess Iron Fan had no trouble blocking their attacks, but just like her son she also took notice of Miwa's weak point being her left arm. So she took a direct hit to it, causing Miwa to drop her staff along with knocking her back with the others.
Miwa was holding her left arm in pain, but tried her best to hold back a cry of pain. Not wanting to seem weak in front of everyone.
Redson took the chance when everyone got knocked back and took the key from them once again. "Thanks for the key, losers!" Then they disappeared into the wind.
"Did they get away with the key?" Mei questioned in disbelief.
Mk falls to the ground from a building. "Yeah. But what I can't figure is... why?"
"Probably not anything good." said Miwa, holding her left arm that was shaking a little.
"Miwa! Are you okay?" Mk and Mei rushed over to check that she was okay after what happened.
"I'm fine, nothing that I aren't used to." Miwa let out a small sigh, picking up her staff with her tails.
"Maybe we should have Pigsy take a look, you know. Just to be sure." said Mk, placing a hand on her shoulder.
"Guys, it's been a long day. I'm just gonna go home for the day and get some rest, by tomorrow everything should be all good." said Miwa, giving a tired smile.
Mei and Mk gave her a concerned look but decided that she was probably right.
"Okay, but if it gets worse let us know." said Mei with a slight smile.
"Yeah, I can even ask Pigsy to go easy on you for a day or two." Mk offered.
"Thanks guys, but I'm gonna be fine." Miwa waved goodbye to them and began skating through the air.
As Miwa was getting closer to her apartment, she suddenly got tackled by someone, crashing her into the ground.
Miwa started coughing and tried getting up but then got grabbed by the throat by someone.
"Well what a surprise, to see one of you wandering around. And still alive." said the Mayor who was the person that attacked her, and was slowly tightening his grip on her throat.
Miwa grabbed his hand and tried pulling herself free, but no matter what she couldn't get free. "W-What are you *cough* talking a-about?"
The Mayor, wearing his big creepy smile, let out a manic laugh. "Well, I can't have you walking around as someone else's wish. If my lady's goal is to be fulfilled, I'm sure she would be happy to finally make her wish come true."
Miwa felt a sharp pain going through her body, and some of her shirt becoming wet. A painful scream came from her as the Mayor had stabbed her with a knife.
The Mayor watched her screaming in pain, while still smiling brightly at her. But seeing as that wasn't enough he pulled back the knife and threw her into a wall.
Miwa was curled into a ball, shaking in fear and pain looking up at the Mayor as memories was flashing through her head.
"Stop making this so difficult, and just die already. The faster you do, the sooner my lady can get her wish." The Mayor walked closer and kicked her where he had stabbed her, and then went further with stomping down on her left arm.
Miwa was screaming and crying out in pain as a cracking sound could be heard when he stomped her weakened arm. "Stop! P-Please stop! It hurt!"
The Mayor ignored her pleas as he kept beating her up for a good while, until he finally stopped. Slightly annoyed but still kept his creepy smile. "Looks like we have a problem here. Guess we have to wait for my lady's return."
Miwa was covered in blood and lots of wounds all over her body, tears running down her face. When she saw him trying to grab her, she used what little strength she had left and used a shadow portal. Bringing herself back home to safety.
"You're home la–What happened?!" Macaque was resting on the couch until he saw a shadow portal, but when he saw the condition Miwa was in he rushed over.
Miwa looked up at Macaque with tears running down her face, while being covered in blood. "Papa!" She wrapped her one good arm around him, shaking in fear.
Macaque was shocked seeing her like this, and wanted to know what had happened. But by the looks of it, he wasn't' gonna get an answer for tonight. "Sssh everything is gonna be alright, little one."
Macaque gently picked her up in his arms and placed her on the couch, before going to the bathroom and grabbed the first aid kit. Along with a wet cloth that he started using to wipe away the blood.
Miwa was all shaken up and wouldn't stop crying, but even when she did calm down she didn't speak a word.
When done treating her injuries and broken arm, Macaque had gone on to bring a bowl of mangos for her to eat, thinking it would help her relax. "Don't worry, Miwa. I'll make sure you're safe for the rest of the night, so try and get some sleep." He gently stroke her head and pulled a blanket over her.
Miwa slowly ate one of the mangos, giving a slight nod but didn't say anything. She wrapped her tails around his as she closed her eyes and tried getting some sleep.
Macaque watched over her closely, still stroking her head to make sure she knew he was still here. "Whoever did this to my kid, I'm gonna make them pay when I get my hands on them."
