Andria's POV
Becca glared at Alexa hard for a while, and was about to say a word when Arlo cut in. "An underdog calling another fellow an underdog? Only you can tell exactly how they behave."
We hadn't noticed when he stepped in and sat in front of us, opposite the drama queens.
I watched Becca recoil in her seat, and simply face off.
"Cat got your tongue, huh …underdog," Alexa continued, ignoring Arlo's statement.
But it seemed as if she had just tuned out every noise in the bus.
"Call Becca that word one more time, and you will know what I'm capable of," Arlo said, calmly and firmly.
Alexa's face was stunned, Tricia's too, but the most surprised was Liara. She hasn't seen Arlo like this before.
Even I was surprised by Arlo's new look; no wonder I couldn't tell it was him when he came in, until I heard his voice.
