Andria's POV
"I've not gotten any hair accessories," Allison murmured.
"Oh, yes. Quick, it's twenty minutes left," I reminded them.
"Shoot, that's true," Allison muttered.
We walked over to the hair accessories section and got scarves, hats, caps, pins, bands, rings, and ties.
"Your cart is colourful," Becca said, directing her gaze at Allison.
"As it should be," Allison replied.
"You are just as arrogant as your brother," I remarked, and we started laughing.
"As it should be," Allison replied, and we burst out laughing again.
Allison wasn't pretending to be anything she wasn't; she was free, boastful, caring, proud, arrogant, considerate, listening, carefree and somehow human, a part of her I didn't know existed when she hung out with that bunch.
"You are staring, Ari," Allison said, waving her hands at me, which called me out of my thoughts.
"It's twelve minutes remaining," I said, and we gathered our things, walking fast to the checkpoint.
