The branches and roots that sprouted from the trees swept away everything in their path.
I stood watching as the entire area was terraformed with new trees.
I hadn't expected that such an attack could defeat Orochimaru, but it did.
Amidst all the chaos, several snakes emerged, ready to attack; I expected nothing less from the most elusive ninja in the ninja world.
Using my sword, I slashed through all the snakes that tried to bite me.
"Kukuku, how terrifying," said Pedumaru, emerging from among some branches and roots.
"I thought you were a snake, not a spoon," I said, looking him in the eyes.
Pedumaru threw a kunai, and with two hand seals, they multiplied into thousands.
Without hand seals, I performed the substitution, escaping the barrage of shuriken.
Once I appeared in another place, I pondered what was next, and to be honest, I couldn't think of a way to defeat this guy.
It wasn't that I could, but every technique I threw at him had some way he could escape or survive. And if I put up a fight once he was low on chakra, he'd simply leave.
I don't have time to quickly create a barrier; I'll have to improvise. If I had learned the Flying Thunder God Technique, perhaps I could defeat him; marked like that, he wouldn't escape. Let's see how this plays out meanwhile.
Performing the hand seals, I made my attack.
"Wood Release: Wood Dragon Jutsu," I said, and a dragon made of wood appeared beside me and flew directly toward Orochimaru.
Instead of attacking, he simply coiled around the snake sannin to absorb his chakra.
Pedumaru noticed immediately, and, opening his mouth like a snake, another Orochimaru emerged, unharmed.
"Fire Release: Great Flame Technique," Pedomaru declared, unleashing fire like a flamethrower.
"Water Release: Great Waterfall Technique," I replied, drawing water from the air and the surrounding trees.
The swirling water extinguished the flames, sweeping everything in Orochimaru's direction and creating a smokescreen.
Without wasting a moment, I created four wood clones and scattered them.
Moving quickly, searching for Pedumaru, I sensed him behind me. I shifted my body, dodging his attack and counterattack.
Orochimaru took a step back; I did the same, but using hand seals.
"Wood Release: Four Pillars Prison Technique," I said, trapping Pedumaru in a wooden prison.
At that moment, two of my clones appeared, ready with their jutsu.
"Fire Release: Fireball Dragon Flame Technique," the two clones announced, each spewing a fire dragon into the wooden prison, setting its interior ablaze.
Once the fire subsided, I realized that the one who had trapped him was an earth clone, not the real Orochimaru.
The way we're going, we'll never finish; everyone has a way to escape if they lose or run out of chakra, so there's no point in continuing like this. There's only one way to defeat this guy: make him believe he's already won.
"Kukuku, that was good training," Pedumaru laughed behind me, holding a kunai to my neck, ready to kill me.
I just raised my hands in surrender.
"Yeah, it was good," I said simply, without emotion.
"Kukuku, relax, I won't kill you. It would be too controversial if you died. I'll just extract a few limbs for my experiments," Pedumaru said, licking my face.
I didn't do anything; I just stayed still.
"You know this was never a one-on-one, but three-on-one," I told him.
The Sannin looked at me, his body tensing and then going limp, and he dropped the kunai.
I quickly turned around and, with a swift motion, tore off Pedomaru's upper garment. My fingertips pricked to draw blood, and I inscribed two seals on his torso as fast as I could.
As soon as I finished, Orochimaru returned to his composure.
"A Yamanaka, do-" I couldn't finish, as he realized what was happening, but it was too late.
"Seal activated," I said.
The two seals activated, rendering Pedomaru immobile.
The seals I placed on him: one was a chakra suppressor, and the other a paralysis seal.
"Well, the snake hunt was a success," I declared with a smile.
...
It would have been foolish of me not to have brought my tools to this mission; more specifically, I brought 4 and 5.
Pedomaru must have known there were Root ninjas in the area, but he didn't expect them to be the ones working for me.
I had ordered them to join the battle and assist me with a specific signal: raising their arms in surrender.
A ninja is better off dying in an explosion than surrendering and providing information to the enemy; hence the tactic of feigning surrender.
Orochimaru, confident in his victory, lowered his guard, leading to his defeat. I didn't defeat him decisively, but I felt capable of doing so if this continued. The only thing I'm not confident I can defeat is someone with Sage Power, hence my desire to learn it.
"You pathetic snake, no matter how clever and intelligent the ninja is, you're just proving to me that they can't think for themselves. Did you think we wouldn't investigate the Wood Release? How stupid of you. That's the bottom line: we have the First Hokage's cells to carry out the research, and if I was short, I was willing to give up a little of my genetic material, just a little. Next time, instead of acting, learn to ask questions, you piece of shit." I said while drawing poop next to a penis on his face with a seal that he couldn't remove for a while; he'd most likely have to stay hidden from everyone for a while.
"What do we do now, Ms. Miyu?" said Tool 4.
"You do nothing, but 5, I need you to enter this idiot's mind and extract all his jutsu, experiments, and relevant information," I told 5.
She nodded and prepared to enter Pedomaru's mind.
So I approached Orochimaru and smiled at him. "I could kill you too, but I won't; it would be a hassle to excuse, and I don't want to make enemies of the old monkey right now, at least not for the moment." I also need you to perfect the forbidden reincarnation jutsu from the impure world and blame someone for the monkey's future death.
Orochimaru could only watch in horror as he did all this, unable to move or resist; he couldn't even speak. All he could do was wait until it was over.
...
"I see, I see. It's interesting to know where Ryūchi's cave is; if I didn't have the slug contract, maybe I would have gone there." He remarked while meditating.
"Can you stop thinking about my memories and what you put on my face? I can't get it off," Pedomaru complained, looking at himself and trying to wash his face.
"It's ink I got from Katsuyu. It's very difficult to remove, but those war tattoos look pretty good, in my opinion," I told him.
"I never thought I could hate someone so openly, but you made me change my mind," he hissed at me, hatred blazing in his face.
"It's an honor," I replied, bowing my head in recognition.
He could only complain silently; we both knew we couldn't defeat each other. My chakra reserves and my ninjutsu were on another level.
All thanks to Jiraiya's training and the overuse of shadow clones. If it weren't for that, I might not have progressed so much.
And I knew this guy had more experience and crazy abilities he could pull out of thin air. Maybe the next time I faced him, I wouldn't be able to defeat him so easily without a counter-escape plan.
If I used my full power, I felt I could defeat almost anyone from the Hidden Leaf Village; the only exceptions would be Sakumo, Hiruzen, and Jiraiya, each for their own reasons.
It'll happen; I'm exaggerating a bit.
"Well, shall we continue with the mission?" I asked him hesitantly.
"As long as you do what you told me," he replied.
After removing the seals, he started crying like a baby, so to quiet him down, I told him I would give him a good amount of Hashirama's cells for his personal experimentation.
That body can regenerate by integrating chakra, something amazing, and the body is under my control; I'm the one who decides who has Hashirama's cells and who doesn't.
It's all been planned. What if all this gets discovered? Nothing would happen; the problem arose when Orochimaru experimented on the Leaf Village guardians; that's where the trouble started. As long as we use criminals or rogue ninjas, we have a way to avoid punishment or social stigma.
Speaking of the pedophile, I really wanted to kill him, but honestly, when you have a tool, you use it as much as you can until it's useless; then you discard or destroy it, and Orochimaru is useful.
(Note: I plan for Miyu to use the Impure World Reincarnation to her advantage, which is why she doesn't kill Orochimaru; after that point, Orochimaru is no longer useful to Miyu; regarding the Third Hokage, I'll think of a way to get rid of him if I eliminate the Sannin first.)
"Yes, I'll give it to you. Stop complaining, and let's continue with the mission. The sooner, the better." I said, standing up and ready to leave.
Pedomaru put something on to cover his face. I hope this ends quickly so that when we get back, Jiraiya and the others can see his scratched face.
(Note: Miyu is more of a real scientist, not a ninjutsu genius like Orochimaru, which is why it's better that he does it and not our protagonist; she can invent jutsu, but not at the level of the Sannin or Tobirama.)
...
Three days have passed since we arrived in the Land of Wind, and we're in some villages waiting for our prey to fall into the trap.
Well, actually, we're in cities with a bingo book, waiting for some user of the magnetic or scorching element to pass by.
"It's so hot," I complained.
My water-element jutsus are practically useless here; there's hardly a decent source of water. The air is almost dry; what a drag.
"Kukuku," I heard from a child stalker. "We have good news."
"Really?" I looked at him with a bit of doubt.
"Your bodyguard described a magnetic element user who returned from a mission and is resting here; he's keeping an eye on him right now."
"I imagine there's a catch," I thought to myself.
"He's with a whole squad, four people: three chūnin and him as the jōnin in charge." Let me explain.
"Look, I have a plan," I said to explain what we were going to do.
...
I was in the bar where our victim was with the rest of his team; next to me was a plant I had kept on a scroll for this kind of situation. Orochimaru must be setting up the barrier to prevent anyone from entering or leaving, including gas.
"Hey, you can't get out," said a civilian trying to leave.
"Wait, you must be really drunk to do anything like a normal person," another one chimed in.
This started to raise eyebrows, since no one was able to open the door. That was my cue.
Injecting myself with the antidote, I began performing the hand seals.
"Wood Release: Accelerated Pollination," I said softly.
The flower next to me began to release a gas that filled the room.
"What the hell?" said a ninja who was nearby.
"An enemy attack," said the victim, covering his nose, but it was too late.
Everyone in the area began to fall unconscious one by one, until only the lineage ninja remained.
He was on his last legs, but he was trying his hardest not to fall asleep.
I walked over to him, no longer affected by the gas. He turned around and opened his eyes when he saw me. He tried to form hand seals, but sleep was his undoing.
With a single kick to the face, I knocked him out.
"One down," I said, smiling as I figured I'd play with this guy in the lab, but first I had to access his memories with the help of five others later.
