The battle on the island ended, as expected, with the Straw Hat Pirates' overwhelming victory.
When the fighting was over, the crew searched for any trace of Luchiru, only to unexpectedly encounter Aokiji, who was still guarding the frozen Rob Lucci.
So, everyone sat down together to talk.
But as time passed, an odd feeling began to creep into their minds—something was off.
Law, who had split up from them earlier, still had not returned.
The battle on the island was long since finished. Even if Law hadn't managed to find his crewmates, he should have shown up by now.
Law's disappearance made everyone uneasy. After thinking it over, Aokiji said quietly:
"I'm afraid that Law has gone missing."
That strange man who had appeared earlier had already given him a bad feeling.
He clearly had strength on par with Aokiji himself, yet had avoided a direct clash. And according to Luffy and the others, the man had taken Lucky Roo away.
What exactly was the connection between the Brewing Fruit and the Ope Ope no Mi? Aokiji didn't know. But he was certain Law's disappearance had something to do with that mysterious man.
Hearing this, the Straw Hats hurried to the shore to look for the Heart Pirates' ship.
When they arrived, the vessel was still moored there, silent and lifeless.
Seeing this only deepened their bad premonition—it seemed Aokiji's suspicion was right.
Just then, a massive, flame-wreathed pterosaur descended from the sky.
"Brat, you really are a troublesome one."
Landing on the shore, King fixed his gaze coldly on Luffy.
Seeing him, Luffy actually looked relieved and quickly asked:
"Hey, old man, did you see any suspicious ships out at sea?"
"Old man?"
At that word, the folds in King's mask twitched—he clearly didn't appreciate the nickname.
With a frosty, "I don't know," he strode off toward where Aokiji was waiting.
"Who the hell is this guy? Acting all high and mighty."
Franky muttered from the side.
"Former head of the Beasts Pirates' All-Stars—King. If I'm not mistaken, he's now working alongside Luffy's father."
Robin, ever the scholar, explained quietly while watching King's back.
That revelation shocked the crew once again.
Though they hadn't traveled with Law for long, Luffy already saw him as a true friend. And when a friend was in danger, he would never sit by and do nothing.
Not wanting to give up, Luffy chased after King to press him further.
At Aokiji's position, he overheard the two discussing the mysterious man. For once, he held his tongue—until something King said caught his attention.
"If I had to guess, that man may be connected to Wano. But Wano has already been destroyed by that person, and Onigashima is nothing but a frontline battlefield now. He wouldn't head there."
King's deduction came from analyzing the man's appearance and manner.
The moment Luffy heard the words "Wano Country," he jumped to his feet and shouted:
"Old man, how do we get to Wano?!"
"That place is a war-torn frontline. I'd advise you to behave yourself—otherwise, I won't hesitate to teach you a lesson on your father's behalf."
King glared at Luffy, brows furrowed.
In his eyes, this kid was nothing but a walking disaster. Wherever he went, trouble followed.
Onigashima might not be a critical strategic point, but the battle there was fierce enough. If this brat showed up to stir the pot, who knew what would happen?
"Tch. Even if you don't tell me, I'll figure it out myself."
Luffy sulked, puffing his cheeks, and—for once—didn't keep arguing.
When their discussion ended, Aokiji suddenly received new orders: he was to return to Marine Headquarters.
At first, he resisted. But after King whispered something to him, Aokiji froze in shock, unable to respond.
Without another word, Aokiji departed. King took the frozen Lucci and left as well.
After some discussion, the Straw Hats decided to head for Onigashima.
Their small ship cut across the waves, towing the Heart Pirates' empty vessel behind it, until both gradually vanished from the island's horizon.
Meanwhile, Sabo reported everything about the island to Ghidorah. He felt as though a massive conspiracy was brewing within the shadows of this fog.
But after listening, Ghidorah only chuckled.
"Brat, just focus on doing your part. The rest is none of your concern."
He waved Sabo away, then slowly rose from his great palace.
Lifting his gaze to the colossal open ceiling above, he spread his wings and took flight.
"The Brewing Fruit, huh? Heh… so, you intend to create a god again?"
Soaring high, Ghidorah soon arrived at an island deep within the New World.
The land was split in two: half blazing magma and fire, half pitch-black wasteland.
There, two massive beasts clashed violently.
Every strike between them whipped up tsunamis and raging storms across the surrounding seas.
Both monsters dominated the skies, and every impact between them made the island below quake as if it would split apart.
"Hey, you two! Can't you calm down for once? How many islands have you already destroyed?"
Hovering above, Ghidorah called down to Rodan and Garp, who were locked in battle.
But instead of stopping, both instantly turned their focus on him—one trailing volcanic smoke, the other swooping low in pursuit.
"Damn it!"
Ghidorah cursed, then unleashed a pair of "Gravity Beams," blasting them both out of the sky.
The two crashed into the island below with an earth-shaking impact, dust clouds rising high.
From the debris came Garp's furious roar:
"Bastard! Is that all you can do?!"
"Heh. As a matter of fact, yes—it's the only move I need."
Ghidorah replied flatly, then turned his gaze on Rodan.
"Why waste your time sparring with this old man? That fruit of yours is already close to awakening—you should be pushing yourself forward, not holding back."
"Oh?"
Rodan looked genuinely intrigued. Everyone who knew that fruit understood how impossibly difficult it was to awaken.
And yet, this generation's fool had actually managed to reach such a point.
Rodan's eyes drifted to the nearby Garp, and suddenly, it all made sense.
After all, even this old fossil—having eaten a fruit that wasn't an ideal match—had made terrifying progress.
It left Rodan wondering if perhaps the "Monkey D." bloodline, spanning three generations of grandfather, father, and grandson, carried something… unnatural.
As for Luffy's fruit, Garp, like the rest of the world, still believed it to be the Gomu Gomu no Mi.
So when he heard their words, he never thought deeper—and certainly didn't imagine that others were already scheming around his grandson.
"Well, if you've got your business, I'll be off. I need to go find Sengoku."
With that, Garp prepared to leave.
Ever since gaining the MUTOs' power, he no longer needed ships—wherever he wanted to go, he simply took flight.
The only downside was the sheer size of his form, which made him far too flashy and impossible to ignore.
So now, whenever he went to visit Sengoku, he always flew there in style.
