Atlas drove into his personal parking spot at the foundation.
He quickly stepped out of the door and slammed the door shut.
But as he took a step towards the foundation, a movement from the corner of his eyes caught his attention.
His head moved sideways, and then he looked up.
Instantly, Atlas' heart tensed.
Although he couldn't see the faces of the duo holding on to each other at the rooftop, he could already tell who they were.
The rage he still carried from earlier mixed with a fresh new wave of fury, and as his hand folded into a fist, he found his legs moving into the restaurant.
"Atlas? Is that you? I just saw Har–"
Atlas brushed past Laura, not bothering to respond to her.
"Hmmm, that's so weird," the older woman thought, shaking her head.
Atlas didn't know why he was walking up to the rooftop.
He didn't understand why he was putting himself in the situation. But he was too blinded by his anger to seek a peaceful answer to these burning questions.
