Their eyes were locked on each other firmly, until Aveline's widened, and her lips parted as she let out a tiny gasp.
Atlas' head swiftly spun behind, and as soon as his gaze caught the exact thing she had seen, he turned back to her.
"Kiss me," he said with urgency in his voice.
Her nose scrunched. "Why would I do—"
Before she could complete her words, he leaned in, and kissed her.
Aveline struggled against his lips. As tempting as his kisses were, the audacity could not go unchallenged.
She didn't want to kiss him for the heck of it. She didn't want to kiss him because he wanted to kiss her out of his trifling lust. And so she stilled her lips against him.
But that didn't stop Atlas.
"Isn't that Mr Atlas Sinclair?" A voice said, and clicks and flashes instantly followed.
In that moment, it snapped in Aveline's head what was actually happening.
Her lips instantly parted and Atlas wasted no time in claiming her tongue.
