Aveline sighed.
The last place she wanted to be that morning was in the same car as Atlas.
Just the thought of wearing another outfit from Landon made her feel a type of way being around Atlas.
The optics were not the nicest, and she really didn't want to be a bitch.
But there was also a petty side of her that thought he deserved it, after how badly he had been to her. The nasty words he threw in her face.
It was that part that won, as she walked into the car.
Atlas drove off immediately.
"New outfit?" He asked, making small conversations.
Her heart drummed. "Yes, why?"
"I didn't know you went shopping, that's all," he said.
"No, you did know. Isn't that why you accused me of accepting clothes from one man whilst expecting another man to take them off?" She fired back.
Another punch straight to his chest.
"Maybe if Landon wasn't bragging about how he bought you the outfit you wore yesterday, I wouldn't have been forced to throw those accusations."
