[SAMANTHA’s Point of View]
I looked down at all of them with such hatred that I couldn’t contain it anymore, and I saw Olivia and Richard’s eyes widen with dread in them. I had never seen them scared of Dominic’s wolf before. Seeing how intimidated they were by my wolf, after years of insulting me as a worthless, wolfless creature, was very satisfying; at that moment, I could taste the fear in their hearts.
If they ever still had one.
The strange warmth embraced me as the adrenaline pumped in me. My eyes were sharper; my ears could hear everything, from the sound of the smallest insect in that forest to the fast, frantic breathing of the Bennettes. Olivia was frozen on the ground; she was lying while her father stayed behind the gigantic Shadow Werewolves as his guard, like a huge coward.
My eyes were focused on the old traitor. To end all of this craziness happening in Black Forest and the Silver Crescent, all that Dominic and I needed to do was to kill the man.
