Chapter 17 - Win

Everyone in a factory… stuck at their places, silently watching each other.

A thick tension filled the air, fear dancing behind their eyes.

Suddenly, a heavy man enters, metal cage bolted to his face.

His presence alone feels suffocating.

"Greetings, I hope you all are enjoying... It's me, Metal," he said with a twisted grin.

Nahru blinked. "Your name is Metal? How weird..."

Ryan unimpressed. "And by the way, nobody asked your name..."

Metal's eyes narrowed through the slits of his cage.

"The one who loses shouldn't talk like that… Now say your prayers. It's time to die."

Damian quickly. "Wait wait—just take the scroll and go..."

Metal turned his cold, mocking gaze toward him.

"What do you think I am—an idiot?" he said, insulted.

Then, with pure madness glinting in his eyes, he growled,

"I begin with the weakest one..."

Nahru's heart stopped. "Oh no, please don't kill Damian....."

Damian rolled his eyes. "Idiot—he's proceeding toward Isobel! And hello?! I know I'm the weakest, but I'm not weak!"

Nahru frowned. "Eww, is that man blind?"

Ryan calmly muttered, "I think so..."

Then—CLANG!

He hit Isobel with a heavy chain.

"Ahhhhhh!" Isobel moaned in pain as she collapsed, blood running from her mouth.

"Isobel!!" Damian screamed.

Nahru, his eyes wide with shock and fury: "How dare you do this to my best friend..."

Nahru's eyes filled with anger, lips trembling.

While Ryan stood still, watching… with no reaction on his face.

Suddenly, the door creaked.

Someone entered.

Isobel, barely conscious, slowly turned her face—blood still dripping—

and with a weak but proud smile said, "She is here...."

Nahru gasped, lighting up. "Juliet... YEAY!"

Damian and Ryan felt a sudden wave of relief—hope returning.

Juliet stood in the doorway.

She didn't glance at them—her gaze was locked on Metal.

There was no fear in her eyes. Only resolve.

Ryan warned quickly, "Juliet, there are metal scratches in the air. Don't touch them..."

Juliet nodded, instantly understanding.

She turned into air, dissolving and sweeping across the room—cleansing the atmosphere.

Metal's eyes traced her with disgust.

"So she is here to fight...? Ok, no problem. I'll kill you first..."

Juliet's voice was calm but powerful.

"Ah, let's begin..."

Then—she rushed toward him.

He swung his chain.

Juliet caught it, twisted it around him and bound his body with it—then zapped him with lightning.

Metal dropped to the ground, convulsing slightly.

Metal roared, "You little...!!"

Looking at her, fury gleaming in his eyes.

The chain binding his body vanished into sparks.

Juliet instinctively stepped back.

Then she turned into stone—her body dense and hard—and began spamming attacks, launching jagged shards at him.

He dodged and blocked most of them—but before he could counter, Juliet turned into air, leaped behind him, and slammed him with an ice kick to the back.

He fell again—slammed hard into the ground.

This time, he stood with uncontainable rage—his eyes wild.

He grabbed her and began punching Juliet's face over and over.

Juliet gritted her teeth and, with a blast of fire, kicked him in the stomach—an explosion freeing her.

But in the chaos—she didn't realize—he had wrapped metal around one of her hands.

Now—she couldn't use her powers.

Damian gasped. "Oh no…"

Juliet looked down at it, confused.

"What's that...?"

Ryan responded, "You can't use your powers now...."

Metal grinned.

"You can't take that off. It only removes on my wish... Even if you kill me—it doesn't go away..."

Juliet didn't care what he said.

She lunged forward, attacking him again.

He grabbed her mid-motion, kicked her in the stomach, and punched her in the head.

She fell to the ground, dazed.

Then—he started kicking her face.Brutally. Again and again.

But Juliet didn't give up.

Still trying to get up.

Metal scoffed.

"You can't win. You are a loser without your power."

Juliet, breathing heavily, said in pain:

"Loser without power...? Who said we need power to fight? All we need is courage. That's what he taught me..."

She began remembering someone's words—a voice echoing in her mind.

Then, with sheer will, she grabbed his leg and pulled herself up.

She made him fall to the ground.

Then she sat on top of him and began punching his face over and over.

"I still got my strength. My courage!" she screamed, continuing to hit him—her voice full of resolve.

Ryan, still watching, thought to himself:

"She is absolutely right. Even though she can't use her powers, she still has the strength, because this power is running in her blood. And she's using it… and by the way… she remembered..."

A proud smile crossed his face.

Juliet's hand was severely injured—swollen and bleeding.

But she still punched him—again and again—each strike like a stone hammer .

His face was getting badly injured .

He tried to get up—but then—

A spark.

A spark came from her hand—

It ignited into a flame.

The metal around her hand vanished.

"HOWWWW?! That's impossible!" Metal screamed in pain.

Everyone was shocked. And impressed.

Ryan watched her—proud in silence.

He thought:

"How clever... she used the strength of her stone power that lies in her hand. Made it tough and kept hitting the metal—heating it up with her strength. That generated flame. She didn't need to use her powers—the law of 'not using your power' made by him—broke naturally."

Juliet stood.

She grabbed his arm—and tore it apart.

CRACK!

Juliet:

"From this hand… you hit Isobel. So that's your punishment."

She said it, completely covered in blood, yet standing proud and strong.

Everyone stared in shock . Metal also got scared and vanished in the ground—

Nahru: "Ha! Coward ran away!"

Juliet moved quickly and set them all free.

Nahru, holding the severed metal arm Juliet tore off, said:

"Juliet—you are strong… wowww."

Damian smiled:

"Absolutely. She is amazing.

And—uh—can you please throw that arm away? It's disgusting..."

Juliet laughed softly. "Thank you..."

Ryan nodded. "You definitely showed a lot ofcourage, used your mind and power perfectly.

I expect nothing less from my student. I can say that from today—your training is finished. I trained you as much as I could.

Now it's on your own. Now... say thanks to your master."

Juliet smirked. "Thank you so much. I tried my best... yeah—but there's no way I'm gonna call you that."

Ryan groaned. "Oh come on..."

Everyone laughed.

Juliet to Isobel: Are you ok...?

Isobel: yes I am fine it doesn't hurt

Said with a bright smile

Ryan : Oh come on we can see you are injured

Damian grinned: "Yeah that's why Let's take the scroll and go back."

"Okkkk!"

Meanwhile…

Shadow was sitting in his base.

A silent figure stood behind him.

Shadow: "They are getting out of hand. I have no interest in them...

Wipe them out for me. It's time for you to pay me back..."

He looked at the figure coldly.

Mysterious guy:"Ok..."

Meanwhile...

Shun sat silently before a grave.

His inner voice spoke:

"They are growing so fast..."

Shun, softly: "Ah... they do."

Inner voice: "You seem so happy."

Shun nodded slightly: "Yes I am... But there is still something that bothers me. I can say... it hurts me."

Inner voice: "Don't worry. She is a brave girl… and she is not alone."

"Hmmm."

Shun exhaled, deep in thought.
