Chapter 210 - CHAPTER 210Ishida, I Need Your Help!

Inside Kurosaki Ichigo's room, the air rippled faintly before several figures appeared out of nowhere, their Reiatsu brushing against one another like colliding currents.

At that same instant, downstairs in the Kurosaki household, Isshin and Masaki both lifted their heads. The familiar pressure washed over them, heavy yet controlled. Surprise flickered in Masaki's eyes.

"Isshin… you felt that too, didn't you?" she asked softly, glancing toward the ceiling.

Kurosaki Masaki hadn't changed much in more than ten years her beauty carried a quiet maturity now, but her spiritual presence was just as calm and radiant.

Isshin exhaled and nodded. "Yeah. That's Captain Shiraha's Reiatsu."

Masaki's expression softened with a trace of nostalgia. "Then… should we go and meet him?"

Isshin shook his head. "Not yet. Ichigo doesn't know our true identities. Let's stay hidden for now. We'll meet Captain Shiraha when the time is right."

Masaki tilted her head, then suddenly pointed toward the sink. "Fine. But you can start by washing those dishes!"

"Yes, dear!" Isshin groaned dramatically, tears almost in his eyes as he tied his apron. Within seconds, the former Shinigami captain was scrubbing plates like a man facing execution.

Masaki chuckled, already turning toward the kitchen. "I'll make something sweet. Hmm… I wonder what flavor Captain Shiraha likes. Forget it, I'll just make one of each."

Upstairs, in Ichigo's room, the atmosphere was far more chaotic.

"Mr. Shiraha's incredible," Ichigo muttered, watching the composed man standing before him. "He came all this way instantly even Yoruichi was surprised."

Renji snorted. "Unlike some people, whose powers barely work half the time."

Ichigo glared. "What was that?"

Renji grabbed his collar. "You wanna go?"

"Bring it!"

Within seconds, the two were shouting at each other again, the tension filling the room like static.

"These idiots…" Ishida Uryū muttered under his breath, pushing up his glasses.

Orihime peeked at Shiraha nervously. "Um, Mr. Shiraha… did we forget our souls somewhere?"

The room fell silent. Three empty Mod Souls sat motionless on the floor bodies without essence.

Ichigo looked around. "Wait, he's right! Where's my soul?!"

Renji smacked him on the head. "You're just realizing that now? Idiot."

Shiraha smiled faintly. "There's no need to look for them. I left them there."

"Still as stingy as ever," Yoruichi said teasingly, her golden eyes glinting.

Ichigo and Renji exchanged looks both instantly understanding what that meant. Don't provoke Shiraha. Not ever.

"So, Mr. Shiraha," Ishida began, adjusting his glasses again. "What exactly did you need to speak with me about?"

Everyone's attention shifted to him.

Shiraha's expression remained unreadable. "I've learned the Soul-Hunting Clan's purpose. They intend to infiltrate the Soul Society and this, Ishida, has everything to do with you."

"Me?" Ishida's brows furrowed.

"That's right," Shiraha continued. "To enter the Soul Society, they need to pass through the Gate. But the Soul-Hunting Clan lacks the spiritual control to manipulate that pathway. They'll need Quincy power to open the portal and that power lies in you."

The room tensed.

Ichigo frowned. "But why would they want to enter the Soul Society?"

Shiraha's tone darkened. "To destroy it."

The words froze the room.

"Destroy the Soul Society?!" Ichigo and Renji shouted together, eyes wide.

"Yes," Shiraha said quietly. "Because the true origin of the Soul-Hunting Clan ties directly to the history of the Soul Society itself."

He began to explain the fragmented lore of the clan, their exile, and their hatred for the Shinigami.

Ichigo blinked, processing. "Where did you learn all that, Mr. Shiraha?"

"I found fragments of their records long ago," Shiraha replied. "I remembered them after I eliminated those two hunters earlier."

Yoruichi watched him thoughtfully. There was something in Shiraha's eyes something deeper than he let on.

Renji crossed his arms. "Ichigo, you idiot, don't you get it? Captain Shiraha isn't just some Shinigami. He's from the Kuchiki Clan the head of the Four Great Noble Houses!"

He flicked Ichigo's forehead hard.

Ichigo rubbed it, muttering, "Could've just said that."

Shiraha turned back to Ishida. "I need you to help the Soul-Hunting Clan open the portal."

"What?" Ishida's expression darkened. "You're asking me to help them?"

Ichigo frowned. "Why would you do that? You're strong enough to take them down yourself."

Renji nodded. "Yeah. You could crush them easily, even sealed."

Shiraha smiled faintly. "Renji, you've forgotten something. Every captain and vice-captain who descends to the human world is bound by a spiritual limiter. With mine active, I can't eliminate them all here. But if they enter the Soul Society, I can wipe them out in one strike."

Renji hesitated. "Still, none of them should be strong enough to challenge you, right?"

Shiraha's gaze sharpened. "One of them can. The leader Kariya Jin. The records list him as having captain-level strength."

That revelation silenced the room. Even Ichigo's usual bravado faltered.

"I see," Ishida said finally, his voice calm but firm. "If that's what you need, then I'll help."

Shiraha nodded approvingly. "Good. Then I'll leave it to you."

He turned to Yoruichi. "Miss Yoruichi, let's go."

The moment his hand brushed hers, a shimmer of azure light enveloped them both—and they vanished.

When they reappeared inside Urahara Shōten, the air was filled with the faint scent of incense.

Yoruichi crossed her arms. "Brother Shiraha… even if this Kariya Jin truly has captain-class strength, your Zanpakutō can stop time itself. You could kill him without ever letting him near the Soul Society. Did you see something else?"

Shiraha's eyes gleamed faintly. "What he seeks lies within the Seireitei—a relic that can amplify my Zanpakutō's Shikai ability."

Yoruichi's breath caught. "Something that could… strengthen time itself?"

"In a sense." Shiraha smiled. "Completing this task will also advance my template progression. When that happens, my power will rise further."

Yoruichi studied him quietly, then sighed. "Fine. I won't pry. But whatever happens, I'll be by your side."

Shiraha's smile softened. "That's all I need."

"Mm."

Yoruichi's voice dropped to a whisper, calm and sure, as the faint hum of Reiatsu lingered in the air around them.
