Chapter 32 - CHAPTER 32: WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

Few hours earlier, at one of the Coven of Lock-Loopers' warehouses, Alexandria was kneeling before Salina White.

"Alexandria, dear, so far you have done well in bringing the Shadow Wolf organization back to me. Now, I shall transfer 90% of my power to you. Will you accept the power And the gift of immortality that I shall also bestow upon you?" Salina asked, placing her hand on Alexandria's head.

"Yes, Lady Salina, I accept the gifts you bestow upon me," Alexandria replied.

Salina smiled, her eyes gleaming with power. "Then receive it, child."

As Salina's hand glow on Alexandria's forehead, a brilliant light enveloped them, and the air was filled with an otherworldly energy. Alexandria's body began to glow, and she felt a surge of power unlike anything she had ever experienced before.

"Rise, Alexandria," Salina said, her voice filled with authority. "Rise and accept your new power."

Alexandria stood, her eyes shining with an unnatural light. She felt invincible, as if she could conquer the world.

Salina nodded, a small smile on her face. "You are now one of the most powerful witches in the world, Alexandria. Your power rivals even mine."

Alexandria bowed her head, her voice filled with gratitude. "Thank you, Lady Salina. I will do my best to live up to your expectations ."

Salina's expression turned cold. "See that you do, Alexandria. The Coven of Lock-Loopers will be the dominant force in the magical world, and you will achieve that goal."

Just then, a subordinate rushed up to Alexandria and Salina and knelt down before both of them. "Forgive the interruption, Your Majesties, but there's an urgent situation that requires your immediate attention," the subordinate said with urgency in his voice.

"Well, don't keep us waiting, Blake. Say what you need to say," Alexandria said impatiently.

Blake took a deep breath, then spoke. "Your daughter has been captured by the League of Enders."

Alexandria's expression turned shocked. "What?! When did this happen?" She asked her voice slightly paniced.

"It...it has been over a month ago sense it happened. We were planning a rescue to—" Blake didn't get to finish what he was going to say because Alexandria rushed forward, grabbed him by the throat, and lifted him ten feet off the ground. Her eyes turned bloodshot.

"Are you fu*king serious over a month ago?! My daughter was taken by the Enders, that long ago and you're just now telling me this ?!" Alexandria's voice was a scream, her anger palpable.

"My lady, please have mercy on me," Blake begged, struggling to breathe.

"Mercy...?! Mercy...?! You want mercy? Fine, I will give you mercy. You are hereby discharged from your duties. You are, in every sense of the word, redundant," Alexandria said, using fire to incinerate Blake's body to ashes.

"Someone, come clean this up. And at the same time, get me Rid Kai Yon," she said, turning to face Salina and kneeling once more.

"Forgive me, Lady Salina, but I must take my leave now. There's an urgent matter I need to deal with."

Salina just smiled. "Dear child, go deal with your matters. We'll talk later. Also, no more kneeling. You know I bestowed my powers on you, so you shouldn't kneel before anyone, especially not me."

"I will be leaving as well. One more thing before I forget: the power transfer to you hasn't fully synced with you as yet, so you won't be able to call upon them... at least not for now."

Alexandria stood up, her eyes still blazing with fury, but now tinged with a hint of determination. She turned to the remaining subordinates, her voice cold and commanding.

"Gather the troops. We're going to get my daughter back. And when we do, the League of Enders will pay for what they've done."

The subordinates nodded, scrambling to obey her orders. Salina watched with a calculating gaze, her smile still playing on her lips.

"Remember, Alexandria," Salina said, her voice low and smooth, "the League of Enders is not to be underestimated. They have... resources. But with my power coursing through you, I have no doubt you'll succeed."

Alexandria nodded, a fierce grin spreading across her face. "I'll succeed. And when I do, nothing will stand in my way."

With a nod, Alexandria turned and walked away, her entourage following closely behind. The air seemed to vibrate with tension as she left, the shadows twisting in her wake.

Salina's smile grew wider, her eyes glinning with calculation. "The game is on," she whispered to herself.

As Alexandra left the warehouse, she was met by a kneeling Rid Kai Yon. "My lady Alexandria, I have gathered five hundred of my strongest wolves to accompany you on your mission."

Alexandria smiled and turned to her subordinates behind her. "I need three hundred of you to come with me. The rest of you can stay here."

Alexandria said then she and her subordinates Teleported Away.

Back in the Warehouse, Salina sat on her obsidian throne with a smile on her face. Just then, a man stepped out of the shadows and stood next to her. "Lysander, I know that look. What troubles you?" Salina asked without looking at him.

"Mother Salina, forgive me for speaking out of line, but do you really think giving Alexandria 90% of your power was a good idea?" Lysander asked with a frown on his face.

Salina just laughed. "My dear boy, Alexandria is just a sand-in until my true successor comes of age ," she said with a knowing smile.

"Again, forgive me, but I don't understand," Lysander said with confusion.

"Don't worry, you will understand soon," Salina said with a sigh. Then she snapped her fingers, and she and Lysander teleported away.

As they arrived at the location, Lysander looked around at the unfamiliar surroundings. "Mother Salina, where are we and what is this place?" he asked.

Salina let out a sad sigh. "This is the home of one of my sons, your older brother, Oliver Good-heart. He has a wife, her name is Nadia Good-heart, and together they have four children: three sons and a daughter. Their names are David and Joseph, they're twins and the oldest. Then there's Breaton, their third child, and finally there's Aelina, the youngest - they also call her Ava for short. And she is my true successor," she said with a proud smile.

Lysander just stood there, a look of shock on his face. "This is... I mean it's... It's a lot to take in. he said with a frown.

"So my brother has no idea who you truly are?" he asked.

"Of course not," Salina chuckled. "I let him live a normal life, up until now. He and his family think I'm a rich business woman who likes travelling a lot or something like that." With a other sad sigh Salina and Lysander walked up to the door of the Good-heart family's house. Salina smiled warmly, and Lysander looked a bit curious. Salina rang the doorbell.

The door opened, and Nadia stood there, smiling. "Salina! Is that you? What a pleasant surprise. Come on in! Oliver's in the living room with the kids."

Salina's face lit up. "Nadia, dear! Lovely to see you." She stepped in, followed by Lysander.

They walked into the living room. Oliver looked up, grinned big. "Mom! Hey!" He got up to hug Salina.

David and Joseph (the twins), and Ava cheered, happy to see their grandmother.

"Nana's here!" Ava squealed, running to hug Salina. "My, look how big you all have gotten! David and Joseph, you two are such handsome young men, and Avelina, you've become a beautiful young lady." Salina smiled, hugging them all.

"But wait, one of you is missing. Where's Breaton?" Salina asked, a hint of curiosity.

"Breaton's not here - he's gallivanting in the Caribbean with his new girlfriend, her name is Olissa or something like that."Ava rolled her eyes.

"Ava I thought you liked Olissa, but I guess I was wrong by the tone of your voice ."Oliver said with a chuckled

Salina's expression turned warm. "Ah, Breaton's having an adventure. That's good. We'll catch up with him later."

Lysander watched the exchange, still looking a bit like he's figuring things out.

Salina smiled graciously. "Everyone, I'd like you to meet Lysander, my... bodyguard."

Oliver raised an eyebrow slightly, but nodded. "Nice to meet you, Lysander."

David and Joseph gave nods, Ava smiled curiously. "Bodyguard? Nana, you didn't tell us you had a bodyguard!"

Salina chuckled. "Just a precaution, dear. Lysander's been with me on my travels."

Nadia came in with drinks. "Welcome, Lysander. Make yourself at home."

Lysander nodded, looking around the room. "Thanks, everyone. Nice place you have here."

The atmosphere stayed friendly, but you got the vibe Lysander was watching, listening.

As they were enjoying the cool air of the afternoon, five men dressed in black stormed the house out of nowhere.

The door burst open, and the masked men entered, their faces covered. Everyone froze.

Lysander instantly sprang into action, positioning himself between the intruders and the family. "Stay back," he growled, his voice low and deadly.

"Who are you people and What are you doing in my house" Oliver asked as he stood up, eyes narrowing.

One of the men stepped forward, a gun visible in his hand. "We're here for something. And we won't leave without it."

Ava grabbed her mom's hand, eyes wide. David and Joseph looked tense. Nadia stood frozen.

Salina's expression turned sad again. "Lysander, they're going to shoot you. Just let it happen, pretend you're hurt, and fall to the ground," she communicated telepathically.

"Understood, Mother Salina," Lysander replied.

Just then, one of the men shot him, and he fell to the ground. the man then shouted for the others to search the house and take all of their valuables.

As four of the men began to search the house for valuables, one of them stopped behind to watch the family. Oliver took the opportunity to kneel down beside Lysander. "Listen, Mr. Lysander, I know you're hurt. But If you could get my mother, my wife, and my daughter out of here, my two sons and I will buy you some time to get away," Oliver whispered.

What an honorable man, he's more worried about his family then himself. Truly, brother, you have a pure heart, Lysander thought to himself.

Then he responded to Oliver.

"Getting the three of them out of here is no problem for me, and after I get them to safety, I'll come back and help you." He said with a sigh then he burst into action, springing to his feet. In one fluid motion, he grabbed Salina, Ava, and Nadia, and leapt through the window, shattering glass everywhere. They hit the ground running, Lysander's speed incredible as he tore across the lawn, putting as much distance between them and the chaos as possible.

Ava screamed, clinging to Lysander's arm. Nadia gasped, stumbling but Lysander's grip kept her upright. Salina's eyes locked onto the house, tears running down her face - she knew what was going to happen next. "Good-bye, my beloved son... this will be the last time we'll see each other in this life," she whispered.

They vanished around the corner, leaving the mayhem behind.

They stopped in an alley not far from the house. Salina fixed her golden eyes on Ava and Nadia, their expressions worried. "Both of you, fall asleep," she said to them. And with that, they both promptly passed out.
