[1 day later.]
"Hm…. So, you are saying that there were no traces of nobody living in this area for long time and the only thing here are low rank monsters?" – asked the beastman captain as he was hearing the report in his tent.
"Yes sir. We had identified the monsters in this area… And honestly? There is really nothing big."
"There are low rank monsters like slimes or horned rabbits, there were also some grey wolves and single gray bear, well, there was one, before it decided to attack us, forcing us to kill it."
"There may be some other gray bears in the area, but overall? This place seems pretty safe."
"Hm…."
(So it is just really abandoned place?) – thought the beastman captain.
(…. Still…. This is straight up too weird.)
(Is the lord of this territory just a plain coward that doesn't want to even check this place after it was burned down?)
"…"
"What about the lord of this territory? Was he captured yet?"
"Nope. Apparently he ran away as a coward, abandoning his territory as soon as we got here." – said the human soldier.
"Seriously. Nobles of this kingdoms are either over greedy idiots or complete cowards."
"That is something I can completely agree with." – said the captain.
"Still, we should try and take over the place where he lived at."
"Even if he had ran away like a coward, there must be some documents left around that we can check and see what had really had happened to this place..."
Current, the ruins of the Rabbit town that were abandoned after their organically destruction were currently being used as the base of operation in the area for the troops belonging to the Garmfon kingdoms.
So far, they only really just started, but they are doing wide range search in order to understand if the area they are currently in is dangerous or not.
And so far? They have found nothing note worth…. They have not even discovered the golem dungeon either.

(So far so good…. I think?) – thought Thauma who was using its dungeon core to observe the outside world.
(These "soldiers" …. I think they are soldiers?)
(Anyway, these soldiers haven't entered my dungeon yet…. I had my golems somewhat move dirt around my dungeon entrance, just as Ariava suggested, somewhat hiding the dungeon and making it bit less noticeable…. But they are looking around…. At this rate they will discover my dungeon sooner or later.)
(My new body isn't exactly there yet, but my monsters? I've finished them and started filling up dungeon with them.)
(I've also finished my dungeon renovation I've had planned for now, so everything is okay…. Still, I can't help but to feel nervous.)
(It has been…. A long time, since last time adventurers came here…. And they are not a monsters…. I know they are different.)

And so, the days went by.
The forces of Garmfon kingdom set up their base in the ruins of the rabbit town and just stayed there…..They were not doing anything, only holding grounds.
Why?
Simple.
The war is still going on.
The Rabbit town is only a checkpoint for the Garmfon kingdom forces to pass though, allowing them to make a quickly preparations before the heading out.
With this, the forces of the Garmfon kingdom not only were able to quickly travel around, but also take control over the territory…. And truth to be told, the conquest of this territory was much easier than they could had expected.
With the lord of the territory straight up abandoning his duty and just running away, the control over the entire territory with ease.
Obviously the kingdom Marok also didn't do nothing.
Reason?
Location.
That location did not served any strategic meaning, if anything defending it was useless and straight up not worth, causing the said territory to just fend for itself…. Which obviously ended up badly as in just spawn of few days, not even a month, the entire territory was conquered by the Garmfon kingdom.
Including the mansion of the ex-lord, that contained different documents and reports regarding the territory.
With one of the things being the report about the golem dungeons.
"A golem dungeons rampage?" – asked the male wolf beastman captain.
"Yea, we found the thing we were looking for, and apparently? You were right. There was something going on here." – said the female cat beastman captain.

"According to this document…. There was a monster outbreak, caused by the golem type dungeon….. Golem? Can there be even dungeon with those things?" – asked confused wolf beastman.
"I was honestly confused about this as well…. I mean, golems are construct and such, if I'm correct." – said the cat beastman.
"…"
"A golem dungeon outbreak…. Emergency support request…. Adventurer guild send 2 D rank parties." – said the wolf beastman as he continue reading the reports.
"The contact lost…. Investigation was conducted…. Corpse of the people were found dead, according to the soldiers on the scene, the wounds sustained by the victims weren't done by monsters nor golems."
"It was done with weapons."
"The town itself was completely burned and plundered."
"Main suspect: Garmfon kingdom."
"…"
"The problem is that we didn't do it."
"So what? Bandits?" – asked the cat beastman.
"Most likely…. But again. What happened to the golem dungeon? Or the beast dungeon that is also mentioned in this report?" – said the wolf beastman.
"…"
"There are some monsters out there, wild monsters…. But if there would be a beast type dungeon out there, wouldn't we had more beast monsters walking out of the forest?"
"Hell! Where are these so called "puppets" or "dirt golems" as well! We would had seen those things."
"Maybe the bandits destroyed both dungeons?" – suggested the cat beastman.
"I mean, there are a lot of reasons why would they do it."
"Money, somebody hired them, like the noble that didn't liked the lord of this place and some other reason…. Honestly, there is a lot of different reasons why would bandits destroy the dungeon after they were done with Rabbit town."
"Hell. Maybe they destroyed the dungeons to make it like we did it."
"Hm…. You are not wrong…. Honestly, if I would be in their place, I would do exactly the same." – said the wolf beastman.
"When we walked through the forest last time, there was no problems what so ever… There is also the fact that this report over half a year old as well…"
"…."
"Ah…. This is annoying as fuck….."
(We didn't made a full scan of the forest; we only did the check of the outerings….. And from what we found out, there was really nothing dangerous. The only that did stood out was the grey bear, but there wasn't something like a large pack or anything out there.) – thought the wolf beastman.
(And again, if there was some sort of dungeon here, completely abandoned and not taken care of, the monsters would just keep spawning from it, while the dungeon itself would keep growing, this would not only us to deal with the random monster attacks, but also have to deal with the dungeon monsters that had manifested…. But from what we seen, the attacks we were encountering were both too weak and small. It just look like it was just caused by monster just populating without being bothered one bit.)
(We would had already seen at least 1 golem, hell. Even when we went right through the forest in case of the bandits waiting to ambush us, we didn't found anything.)
(By the looks of things, this "Rabbit Town" has a title amongst the adventures, the "beginner town".)
(Apparently it was very popular and even though it was just filled with weak monsters, it was still generating decent income.)
(Bandit and the hostile noble theories seems most likely right now.)

"Honestly…. There really doesn't seem like anything at all, nor we had encounter any problems here, even though we already stayed here for quiet sometime now." – said the wolf beastman captain.
"So, you do admit you were just overthinking, yes?" – asked cat beastman.
"Maybe I really was?" – replied the wolf beastman.
"Just admit it. You are just getting bored of defending this completely abandoned town." – said the cat beastman while slapping the wolf on his back.
"Nah…. Honestly…. I just don't know why, but maybe….. Nah. Never mind. I think I maybe paranoid with this whole area being that abandoned. I was never really good with creepy stories." – said the wolf.
"Oh yea! I fucking remember that ghost extermination- "
"Please. Don't fucking remind of that bullshit." – said wolf.
"Fuck me….. Welp, there is the fucking answer. Okay? I was just paranoid. I found the forest creepy and wanted to know the story. Happy?"
*Sigh*
"Anyway, how are the things at the front? Was there much problem when taking over the territory?"
"Hm…. Not match really…. If anything, there was barely any resistance at all." – said cat.
"Honestly, this whole fucking territory turned out to be a ruled by big pieces of shits."
"So yea, take over was much easier than expected and the whole place was already taken control over by us?"
"Wait, really? Isn't this…. Well, way too fast?" – asked bit confused wolf.
"Nah, this territory location is very shitty, they may had just abandoned it since they realized defending this place wouldn't be worth it with all the efforts they would be forced to put in." – said cat.
"In short, abandoning this place would the best tactical move."
"Huh, so they are not all idiots then?" – asked wolf as he took out a cigar and light it up, only for the cat to quickly steal it and use it herself.
"Hey."

"Well, even though they can somewhat think, it doesn't kind of mean shit if I'm honestly." – said cat after quickly taking breath of cigar.
"At the rate things are, the war should probably soon end."
"These bastard just- "
"-stabbed themselves over and over with their stupid corruption." – said wolf as he took out second cigar.
"It was either them declaring war like idiots on us or having the kingdom have a revolution, which would result in the current higher up ending under guillotines."
"So honestly, it wasn't a matter of "who" win, but instead of "when" we win."
"…"
"Oh, that fucking hit the spot." – said the wolf after exhaling his cigar.
"…. Anyway, with this whole territory conquered, what will happened to my squad? Will we move out or something? Since there doesn't seems to be much going on here anyway."
"Well, I wasn't told yet, but if I'm thinking correctly…. Then yea, you will be probably ordered to go somewhere else…. Maybe the city or town in this territory and set up proper check point there or some shit?" – said cat after finishing her cigar.
"I don't fucking know man."
"I will all depend on how this war will go.

"I just fucking hope they won't put anywhere near another creepy ass location." – replied wolf.
