"…."
(Weird.) – thought Thauma while observing the outside world via dungeon core vision.
(These soldiers were appearing early on…. But now they pretty much stopped?)
(Are they not here to investigate the forest?)
(Right now, there are barely any soldiers showing up…. Maybe they are just using the forest as hunting grounds to secure food? There are quiet bit of beast monsters around here... Wait, are slimes also edible?)
"…"
(Either way, something is off.)
(I was expecting a battle, but there was really nothing going on?)
(Was I alarmed for no reason?)
"…"
(No.)
(Ariava told me that the Rabbit town was a perfect location for the "newbie" adventures.)
(They have a reason to restore that town and in turn investigate the whole forest to make sure it is safe few the newbies.)
(It is really matter of time before I will be discovered…. But by the looks of things, I have way more time than I've had originally expected?)
"…"
(But what should I do?)
(Should I continue ranking up my dungeon core?)
(I've managed to rank it from rank 7 to 10 in just 2 months.)
(But from what I can tell, the dungeon core will need far more miasma to rank up again…. And this is a problem…. I've also spent all of the miasma I've had gotten from that war already for the monsters and to develop item research... Well, to be more specific, I've used ALL of the miasma I've had, from making monsters to devouring what remained from the beast dungeon.)
(I've needed a lot of miasma for my research and even more for experiments…. Like extremely lot.)
(And honestly…. I straight up have no more room for my golems.)
(Like the entire dungeon, it is filled to the brim with golems, I can't make anymore.)
(I did broke apart some of the older golems models that were no longer useful, but again, no room. All of my monsters in this dungeon are already manifested.)
(I can't make a "dungeon monster" that will generate miasma for me.)
(The only way I could would be to straight up kick out all of the golems.)
(But if I do that, I will get instantly spotted.)
(Still…. What do I use my miasma?)
(Do I continue hording it?)
(I can probably use the miasma generated for the dungeon core alone…. But what if I end up being forced to fight? The moment I do, I would need to summon more monsters.)
"…"
(But again, right now I can still expand my dungeon, I can do this.)
(But it would use up DP….. What do I do?)
"…"
(No. I can't rush it.)
(I don't know how many of these soldiers or how powerful they are.)
(By now I should had reached D rank….. But how powerful I'm compare to average D rank? I don't know. Maybe I'm still at the very bottom.)
(If so, then maybe average D rank party of adventures can destroy me?)
(….No….They wouldn't be able to.)
(But again, what about C ranks?)
(I don't know if I'm considered a D rank or a E+ rank, but from what the book I've read told me, the difference in power starting with E and D is way higher, with the gabs with further ranks beings much bigger.)
(I don't know if I would be able to take them on, even one.)
"…"
(Dammit. There is really nothing for me to do.)
(All I have to do is to don't do anything and horde as much DP as possible in case of them discovering my dungeon.)

(Okay. So….. NOW!)
"…."
(Nope. It failed.)
(Wow. She wasn't kidding. I can't use this space magic thing at all.)
(The notes says that I shouldn't force it early on when I only understand basics of magic and some other stuff…. Maybe I should really just focus on my current magic research?)

(Yeb. I didn't get even affinity for it.)
(God dammit….. Still, I've managed to level up some of my skills.)
(Well…. The [Basic Object Appraiser] is still quiet weak and useless, it doesn't give me any informations I can't find with my own set of abilities.)
(But still, Ariava said that if I wish to be a craftsman, I will desperately need this skill.)
(There are also the four base elements.)
(She told me to research them a bit, since maybe they can help me understand magic bit more…. They are maybe working? But I think I will just stick to earth and arcane magic.)
(Ariava told me herself also that I excellence in both of those attributes above everything.) – thought Thauma before then extending its hand and creating magic circle on the ground which caused a stalagmite to instantly sprout from the sky, before then using arcane magic to fire a ball of mana, sending it flying at the rock sculpture and breaking it.
(Especially the earth magic, latterly I've been able to cast it much faster. I can probably now use it properly in combat, the same goes for arcane magic….. But the problem is that I cannot use mana so often.)
(I did increased my [Mana] skill level by 1, allowing me to much more mana.)
(But….. Hm….. I need better core.)
(The one that Ariava helped me to make is indeed extremely good…. But I need more mana for not only the combat, but also experiments….. But I really can't make anything better than my current core, with the materials I have currently on hand.)
(…)
(…)
"?"
(Wait…. Do I need a core to have more mana?)
(Is having the core be the only thing that can provide me with mana?)
(What if I add a special organ device that can gather or generate mana?)
(But still, I've just finished this new body.)
(Having 6 hands is bit problematic, but I'm getting used to them already…. Do I really want to make already new body?)
"…"
(Well, this research may take time…. And honestly? It will be worth it.)
(Maybe instead of finding out how to make additional mana organs tools, I will maybe instead find a way to power up my own core?)
(Yea this will be definitely worth it.)
Even though no new monsters were born, even though the dungeon wasn't expanding, the dungeon master was developing.
It was learning more different talents while also leveling up some of its already existing skills while also continue learning more and more from the books that Ariava gave to Thauma, allowing the puppet to nonstop growing.
Besides that?
Nothing.
Even as more than 1 month passed after the soldiers took over the remains of the Rabbit Town, there was really nothing going.
So far, the only reasons why would soldiers even go to the forest was to hunt for some food…. But beside that? They did nothing. They didn't explored the entire forest or anything, allowing Thauma dungeon to stay hidden right underneath their noses.
However, what about the war?
The situation in the outside world was as fallowing.
Kingdom Of Marok VS Kingdom Of Garmfon.
Currently, the one winning the war was the kingdom of Garmfon.
After a long stalemate, the kingdom of the Garmfon had finally started getting upper hand, which in turn allowed them to not only secure victory and after victory, which in turn allowed them to start conquering the territory Garmfon kingdom….. And as the days went by, the situation was turning worse for the Marok kingdom as more than half of their kingdom was conquered.
But obviously, the king of the Marok kingdom didn't surrendered.
Why?
Corruption and greed.
The kingdom was somewhat peaceful and "safe", in a way…. But the only real problem was the king and the people in power, whom were really corrupted and would rather send soldiers to their deaths instead of giving up their authority….. But obviously, their words meant little to nothing in the current situation.
Instead, it made some of the soldiers straight up rebel or refuse to fight the pointless war, while on the other side the kingdom of Garmfon was still going strong.
In the end? Things were completely down hill for the Marok kingdom at rapid rate, with them not only losing their territory non stop but also having their remaining army just start disappearing from either battles or soldiers just deserting.
And before long? The finally siege of the royal capital was held and then quickly ended, resulting in the king of Marok being imprisoned.
The war between the two kingdoms was over with the kingdom of Garmfon standing victories and conquering the entire kingdom of Marok.
However, unbeknownst to the Garmfon kingdom, they had just inherited something from the Marok kingdom.
Something that may cause quiet massive problem in the future or maybe even be the cause of the disaster itself.
