"Miss Kent is in town at the moment. Coin and Sweetie have eyes on her. Mister Kent is at his farm at the moment. You should be able to just roll up and kidnap him." Edgelady explained into their communication channel.
"Understood. Coin and Sweetie. You heard the lady. Standby until after we grab the husband. Then we will pull up and you can pull her in." Rico explained the plan as he double checked the tranquilizer gun.
"We are coming up on the farmhouse!" Gearbox called from the front seats.
After a few seconds the vehicle came to a stop and they climbed out of the back to see the farmhouse and a barn. Rico activated his Eagle vision and picked up the signatures of several creatures but only two of them were human shaped. There was a human and several cows in the barn. While in the barn house is a dog that was looking right at him and a sleeping body.
Rico turned his attention to the barn as he deactivated his vision enhancement to see an old man step out as he wiped his hands with a cloth. "Excuse me? Can I help you?" The man asked.
"Take him." Rico ordered as he fired a tranquilizer that hit the man. He flinched and looked down at the dart before he began to fall. But T-Dog was already next to him and was putting him over his shoulder. He then carried him to the back of the armored truck and climbed inside.
Rico looked around and saw the white dog on the porch of the building growl then it jumped up and Rico watched it jump and then fly towards him. He fired a tranquilizer and saw it bounce off the dog. Rico frowned and tossed aside the tranquilizer gun as he pulled his laser pistol and put his arm between himself and the dog to protect himself from the dog that was clearly flying.
"Rawr!" The dog growled before it bit on Rico's arm. Rico could feel its teeth tear through the armor and into his arm.
"Damnit." He cursed as he pulled out his laser pistol and switched a few settings before shooting the dog in the stomach a few times.
"Rawrrr…." The dog groaned and passed out as red electricity spread out over its body.
Rico looked at the dog and then his bleeding arm and clicked his tongue. Rico bent over and picked up the dog before climbing into the back of the armored truck and then closed the door. "Let's go!" He called out once they were done and the vehicle went underway. Towards the town of Smallville.
He looked at the unconscious dog. This was definitely the Kryptonian dog known as Krypto. Rico was a bit happier now knowing that his laser pistol could fire red sun beams and stun shots. Which is what Rico had done to Krypto, he had hit him with red sun stun shots. He should be out for a bit, and if he wakes up he could just hit him again.

Rico saw the message out of the corner of his eye as the vehicle shook slightly before it arrived on the road. It was time to grab the wife. "Coin and Sweetie we are on our way. Gearbox will pull up next to you and then you bring her to the rear of the vehicle and place her inside." Rico ordered as he grimaced in pain. He could see his wound slowly healing. While it healed it looked like small spots of fire were appearing in the bleeding holes.
His arm began repairing a second later as well. Rico moved the tranquilizer gun to an overhead spot above him as he prepared to open the door. Then the armored truck came to a screeching halt. There was a knock on the side of the armored truck and Rico pushed open the back doors and stood to the side holding the doors as an Old Woman climbed into the back of the armored truck with Coin and Sweetie following behind them.
Once they were inside, Rico began closing the rear doors but stopped when he saw a white van stop down the street and a bunch of people in tactical armor climb out. He rolled his eyes and closed the rear doors and locked them. "Step on it! We have company!" Rico yelled and the vehicle shook as it no doubt was zooming down the streets.
"I see them. They are unmarked but they look like LexCorp vehicles." Gearbox announced from the front.
"I wonder why they are pissed." T-Dog asked aloud.
Rico scoffed, "because the military passed the blame of whatever they stole onto us. That is why they had us transport the item." Rico rolled his eyes and looked at some armored boxes that were sitting above their heads. "Pull out the last of our hardware. We are going to need it."
T-Dog nodded his head and grabbed one of the boxes and pulled it down. As he did that Rico stood up and walked toward one of the roof hatches and opened it up. He then began climbing out the top of it. The moment he did he had to duck back down as a barrage of bullets hit the back of the armored truck. A few armored vehicles with weapons on the back were chasing them down.
"Is your arm hurt?" Sweetie asked as she looked at his arm. She had just finished putting the woman to sleep. Now she was putting tranquilizer in the dog as well. He had already begun to stir awake.
"No." Rico answered as he accepted a grenade launcher from T-Dog. They were coming up on an underpass that would give them a second of cover if they sped up. "Gearbox, Speed up!"
There was the growl of the engine in response as it lurched forward and picked up speed. Rico jumped out of the hatch with the grenade launcher just as they had cover front the pursuing vehicles. There was a loud grinding of metal against cement as the vehicle damaged the side of the road. He then took aim as the vehicles came into view.
