For a moment, the omega couldn't breathe.
The words echoed in his head, sharp and merciless, until all he could feel was the hollow ache in his chest.
Didn't the alpha love him anymore?
Unaware of his inner turmoil, Jihye smiled at him. "When do you want to start? I can free my schedule for this week."
Jihoon gave a cynical laugh. "This week?"
His eyes narrowed. "That's not happening," he forced a polite smile. "Dr. Kim, can you give us a moment?"
Jihye looked confused but nodded. "I'll be right outside." She walked out, closing the door behind her.
As soon as the door clicked shut, the omega turned to Junghoon. "What do you think you're doing?"
"Therapy? Removing the mark?" He threw his hands up in exasperation. "Seriously?"
The alpha raised a brow. "I thought that's what you wanted?"
"When did I ever say that?"
Junghoon scoffed, looking away. "You told me you regret the bond. That means you do not want it."
"I'm doing us both a favor here."
