Chapter 614: To the Faint Star, the One Chasing Time!
Ais didn't care. She just wanted to know how to become stronger.
[Ais: Ren-san.]
[Ren: …I can tell you care. There are many ways. You can grow on your own, or get stronger by using the doomsday points in the Chat Group.]
[Ais: Doomsday points… Doom Companion… It's like a commission. How do I accept it?]
[Ch'en: It appears by chance when you encounter a Doomsday factor.]
[Ais: Abnormal Doomsday (8-Star), Uncertainty Doomsday (9-Star). Is this it?]
[Shiroyasha: Oh my, surprisingly high levels.]
[March 7th: Emmm, are high-level Doomsdays so worthless now?]
This Doomsday level surprised Ren a little. A 9-star Doomsday had reached the standard of March 7th's world. Is it because the gods of that world are very powerful, or is it… the power of those Lord of Myriad Worlds candidates? This was worth observing.
"How was the rest?" A moment passed. Fu Xuan and the others had woken up and cleaned themselves.
"Seriously, you scoundrel! Ren, why did you humiliate me in… that way!" Fu Xuan's eyes were filled with anger. Even with five of them, she had received the most positions and baptisms. She was the dignified Grand Diviner! To show such expressions in front of her subordinates was a disgrace!
Ren just chuckled. "Wasn't I just showing that I like my Grand Diviner more?"
"!!!" Fu Xuan trembled. She blushed and glared. "You scoundrel!"
"Heh heh." He just smiled. Her mouth was stubborn, but her body was honest.
"Okay, rest over. Are we going home now?" Guinaifen asked, full of energy.
"Ha~" Qingque just yawned.
Ren looked at the neatly dressed group. "Then let's go. I'll send you back to the Luofu."
"Hmm?" Suddenly, his expression changed.
"What's wrong, husband?" Tingyun noticed.
Ren thought for a moment. "Before I send you back, let's go here first."
On a desolate planet, a spacecraft, half of it damaged, was crashed into the ground, burning with thick smoke. "Clang!" A piece of the shattered door was kicked open.
"Haa…" A figure struggled to crawl out. It was a man, covered in blood, breathing rapidly. He could only lean against the outer wall with his last bit of strength.
"Lesley… I might… never catch up to you…" his blurry eyes looked up at the star-filled sky. He had encountered a stellar wave and crashed.
But the only thing on his mind… Lesley, couldn't be erased. He had once told a Nameless that he would never wait, that he would chase time, chase her. It seemed he would break his promise.
"There's someone here?" a clear voice entered his ears. His blurry eyes saw figures swaying before him. A white light flashed, and a feeling of comfort filled his body. The next moment, his vision cleared. He saw five women and a man.
Sushang curiously examined the spacecraft. "Did it get into trouble?"
"!!!" The man realized his wounds had healed. He stood up and pinched his arm. "Hiss!" Pain. "Am I not dreaming?"
Tingyun spoke. "Sir, you are not dreaming."
"Thank you!!!" He knew he had been helped. "My name is Rocky. I am a researcher from the Herta Space Station. I crashed because of a stellar wave." He looked at his spacecraft; it was unusable. "Benefactors, can you allow me to leave here on your ship? I'll pay any amount!"
"Uh, we don't have a ship," Sushang scratched her head.
Guinaifen kindly reminded her, "Sushang, with Ren, where can't we go?"
"Oh, oh! It seems so!" she realized, then looked at Ren. "Can we help him?"
Ren observed Rocky. The reason he came was because he sensed a pioneering aura, the aura of a Stellaron… of Stelle. He had found someone from "To the Faint Star." He casually asked, "Are you chasing time?"
"!!!" Rocky's eyes widened. "How... how did you know?"
