"Harry Potter- Ravenclaw"Chapter 163: A House-Elf Acting Under Orders?

Fred and George swung their bats in perfect sync, sending the Bludger hurtling toward Draco Malfoy.

Just as Draco jerked his broom handle to dodge, the Bludger defied all logic—reversing direction midair and streaking straight back toward Harry.

It was obvious now: someone was controlling the Bludger with magic.

...

Wyzett sprang to his feet and slipped to the corner of the stands, pulling out The Marauder's Map.

"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good!"

At his words, the map shimmered and transformed, revealing its intricate web of moving dots and names.

Drawing on the ancient magic pulsing from his Obscurus core, Wyzett infused the map with power, focusing his gaze on the pitch, tracking the rogue Bludger's path.

He muttered incantations as he swept his wand over the map. "Prior Incantato! Specialis Revelio!"

Thanks to The Book of Spells he'd found in the Restricted Section, Wyzett had taught himself a trove of practical—and occasionally bizarre—magic. His current technique combined the Prior Incantato and Tracking Charms, fueled by ancient magic as a conduit. By locking his gaze on a magical object, he could attempt to trace its magical signature back to its source.

The process was tricky and the conditions strict, but in this moment, it was exactly what he needed.

...

The Bludger was relentless, hounding Harry like a piece of iron drawn to a magnet.

Harry barely had a moment to glance at the Golden Snitch; only the speed of his Nimbus 2000 kept him ahead, dodging the Bludger's attacks again and again.

The stands erupted with anxious whispers. Anyone paying close attention could see the Bludger was behaving abnormally.

Still, the situation hadn't spiraled out of control—Madam Hooch hadn't blown her whistle, and most were content to watch and wait.

...

"My eyes can keep up with the Bludger easily," Wyzett murmured, "but for the map to lock onto it… it'll take a little longer…"

Unfortunately, the weather had turned. The leaden sky grew even darker, and fat raindrops began pelting down, soaking his hair.

Luna's voice chimed in at just the right moment. "Impervius!"

Suddenly, the rain rolled off Wyzett's hair and slid harmlessly to the ground.

"Impervius!" Luna repeated for herself.

"Don't worry! I'll protect you!" she declared, as the downpour scattered around her in a shimmering halo, making her look every bit the rain-drenched fairy.

Wyzett grinned and nodded, and Luna answered with a radiant smile—one that could break through even the gloomiest sky.

...

The rain intensified. Oliver Wood called for a timeout, and both teams touched down, gathering in tight formations.

As Harry's feet hit the ground, the Bludger's aggression faded. Wyzett seized the moment, successfully locking onto the magic clinging to it.

On The Marauder's Map, the Bludger appeared as a moving dot on the Quidditch pitch, with two black lines radiating from it:

One line stretched off the map entirely—likely pointing to the Bludger's manufacturer.

The other snaked across the pitch, ending beneath the western stands.

"That's the one!" Wyzett confirmed, then pulled out the magical bookmark Dumbledore had given him and scribbled a message:

Headmaster Dumbledore, there's something wrong with the Bludger on the Quidditch pitch! The source is at the bottom of the western stands.

His habit of meticulous note-taking paid off—he'd managed to send the warning in seconds.

With such precise intel, Dumbledore's reply was swift, along with a plan of action:

Received. I'll send a house-elf to investigate.

Wyzett drew a piece of parchment from his robes and, with a flick of his wand, transfigured it into a large umbrella to shield Luna from the rain.

...

The downpour only worsened, and the situation on the pitch grew murkier.

"Close your eyes," he said softly to Luna.

She obeyed at once, her long lashes fluttering shut.

Wyzett lifted his wand and gently tapped her eyelids. "Nox Visio!"

The Night Vision Charm heightened the senses, allowing the body to perceive everything around it. It wasn't just useful at night—under this torrential rain, it worked wonders too.

He could tell how much Luna loved Quidditch, and he wanted her to enjoy every moment.

"All done. How does it feel?" he asked gently.

Luna reached out to touch the raindrops trailing along the umbrella's edge, her eyes lighting up. "It's so clear! I feel like I can see everything… like an eagle!"

Wyzett laughed. "You are an eagle—and so am I."

Luna beamed, utterly content. "Right… that's why you're always so clear to me."

...

Before long, Madam Hooch blew her whistle again. Both teams mounted their broomsticks, kicked off, and soared back into the air.

Once everyone was in position, she tossed the Quaffle skyward, and the match resumed.

So did the Bludger's relentless pursuit.

No matter how Harry twisted and turned, darting through the rain like a streak of lightning, he couldn't shake the Bludger.

Gryffindor seemed to have shifted strategy—Fred and George focused on dealing with the regular Bludger, leaving Harry to fend for himself.

Even so, Gryffindor managed to score a hard-won ten points.

...

The rogue Bludger was still on the attack, which meant Dumbledore hadn't yet dealt with the spellcaster.

Wyzett kept glancing down at The Marauder's Map, watching as the black line continued to flit around the Quidditch pitch—sometimes beneath the north stands, sometimes the south, never staying put.

He checked the bookmark again. Soon, a new line of writing appeared:

The spellcaster is a house-elf, but not one from Hogwarts. He appears to be acting under orders and refuses to leave, no matter what.

House-elves weren't just skilled at chores—they possessed their own brand of powerful magic, including a unique form of Apparition.

The grounds of Hogwarts—and Hogsmeade—were protected by powerful Anti-Apparition enchantments. But house-elf magic was different. They could slip past these barriers and move freely, even where wizards could not.

"Difficult to restrict his movements? That really is a problem." Wyzett frowned, pondering a solution.

Still, knowing the culprit was a house-elf meant the threat level was lower than he'd feared. And if, as Dumbledore said, the elf was acting under orders, there was less chance he'd simply vanish…
