"Harry Potter- Ravenclaw"Chapter 38: So Many Places I Can Go With You

"How fascinating." Dumbledore stroked his beard, his expression finally relaxing. "A single flight should be all he needs to recover."

"Yeah! Look at that! He's flying with Luna!" Hagrid clapped his hands, his cheer as exuberant as a child's. "I wonder what it must feel like, riding on a phoenix that size!"

"We ought to head back," Dumbledore said with a satisfied sigh. "If we go now, we'll still make it in time for breakfast. I believe there's raspberry honey pie on the menu today—one of my favorites."

Professor McGonagall nodded. "Yes, it's time to return."

Hagrid craned his neck, eyes tracking the soaring phoenix that was Wyzett. "He really is all right?"

"Of course. This is the best part of being an Animagus," Professor McGonagall assured him. "When I first completed my Animagus transformation, I spent ages exploring my new form."

Hagrid's curiosity was boundless. "What does it feel like? Is it really that different?"

"Hearing and smell become sharper, and you move with a kind of grace you never had before..." Professor McGonagall recalled fondly. "That's about the gist of it."

"How wonderful!" Hagrid sighed wistfully. "If only I could learn to be an Animagus too… Wouldn't that be something!"

"Perhaps you'll have the chance," Dumbledore said with a twinkle in his eye. "Wyzett seems to be pushing the boundaries of Animagus magic—there's no telling what's possible anymore."

Professor McGonagall nodded in agreement. "An Animagus who can cast spells… even one who can become a magical creature… It's beyond anything we imagined!"

...

The silver-blue lightning had spent the last of the storm's fury. The clouds thinned, dissolving into wisps, and the gentle rain faded to a soft drizzle, each drop drifting lazily on the wind. Sunlight pierced the thinning clouds, stubbornly shining down on the soaked earth and gleaming leaves.

Luna lay nestled among Wyzett's feathers, her body sinking into the plush, downy warmth. Through the softest underlayer, she could feel the gentle heat radiating from him.

"There are so many branches of Transfiguration… We'll find a way," she murmured. "I can be like Mum—study every kind of spell, try every kind of magic. I'll turn you back, I promise!"

"And if you never change back, we'll just find a new way to live. We could ride broomsticks together… fly alongside you..."

"Ottery St. Catchpole… Hogwarts… the Forbidden Forest… So many places, we could go anywhere together... We could even cross the ocean someday..."

"Dad told me once about a brilliant witch who flew across the Atlantic on a broomstick… Maybe we could try that too…"

As Luna's gentle words drifted over him, Wyzett's heart swelled with emotion. She must think he was stuck like this, and so she just kept comforting him, never wavering.

A phoenix's song was nothing like an eagle's cry. Only now did Wyzett begin to master the knack of it—a long, haunting melody that shimmered with magic.

In that moment, his song intertwined with Luna's soft voice, weaving a lullaby that soared through the sky.

Listening to his song, Luna let out a sleepy yawn, her voice growing softer, dreamier. "We could go on adventures in the Forbidden Forest…"

"And if your tastes change to a phoenix's, we could hunt for berries and herbs in the forest… If you find a berry you like, I could grow some at home…"

Gradually, Luna drifted off to sleep. The duet faded into a solo, Wyzett's song echoing alone above the clouds.

He circled high over the Forbidden Forest, then turned, gliding toward Hogwarts.

He landed atop the Quidditch stands, settling on the highest platform. From here, he could see the distant silhouette of the castle, its towers rising above the morning mist.

"You're still you. My most precious…"

"No matter what you become, we're still…"

Wyzett stood quietly, listening to Luna's gentle sleep-talk.

From time to time, Luna would tighten her arms, as if to reassure herself he was still there.

At last, The Wizard's Practical Combat Guide stilled within him. A once-blank page shimmered with new writing, and a long-anticipated spell revealed itself:

Ancient Magic: Magical Creature Animagus (Phoenix Form): Channel ancient magic to become an Animagus… transform into a magical creature—phoenix…

Its appearance meant Wyzett had truly mastered Animagus magic—achieving a magical creature form that no one before him had ever accomplished.

To reach this point had taken both accumulation and luck: the accumulation of his deep understanding of Animagus magic, and the luck of possessing ancient magical power.

If Wyzett wished to return to human form, all it would take was a thought.

But Luna was still dozing on his back, so he decided to remain where he was a while longer.

His feathers were warm enough; he needn't worry about her catching cold.

...

"Wood, you know how hard it is for me to part with my bed—why must you be so cruel…"

"Yeah! The rain hasn't even stopped, and you're dragging us out for practice. Broomsticks slip in this weather, you know…"

Fred and George groaned in unison, but before they could finish, Wood barked, "We need to make the most of every second. The championship isn't going to wait for us to get out of bed!"

"Mmm…" Perhaps it was the noise from the pitch, but Luna murmured sleepily and finally woke up.

She gently stroked the down on Wyzett's back, still a bit groggy. "How long have you been standing here? Let me down, will you?"

Carefully, she slid off his back, taking care not to tug at his feathers.

"Look… there's a rainbow over there!" Wyzett quietly shifted back into human form and pointed into the distance.

But Luna didn't follow his finger. Her gaze remained fixed on Wyzett, and she rubbed her eyes, as if trying to convince herself she wasn't dreaming.

He gently stopped her hand, his voice soft. "I'm sorry for worrying you. I really did turn back."

Luna smiled. "Aren't we wizards? Dad was the same—he never thought Mum did anything wrong."

"Wizards have to face things like this. Isn't it perfectly normal? Even if you never changed back, you'd still be you—nothing would change that!"

Clouds drifted by like layers of soft feathers. The sun peered through the gaps, casting golden light onto the land below.

Sunbeams danced on scattered raindrops, and with the help of the wind, they arched into a brilliant rainbow.

"We're so lucky!" Luna said, gazing at the rainbow.

"Yes," Wyzett replied, his eyes on Luna. "Very lucky indeed."

...

"Oh no, oh no! I must be hallucinating from lack of sleep!" Fred, warming up on the pitch, went pale. "I just heard Wyzett's voice!"

"Oh no, me too!" George looked just as alarmed. "I swear I heard it too! We need to go to the hospital wing!"

"Less whining, more training!" Wood snapped, setting down his tactics board. "No more excuses. We'll be facing Wyzett soon enough!"

The storm clouds had vanished, leaving the sky its purest blue, dotted with a few brilliant white clouds.

The sun hung high above, a shining pearl, and the world below seemed newly washed—fresh, bright, and brimming with promise.
