"Harry Potter- Ravenclaw" Chapter 39: How to Boost Coolic Production?

When Wizette studied Animagus transformation, Professor Flitwick mentioned a crucial concept—the siphon effect.

That concept helped Wizette take the critical step forward, making the Animagus principles click into place.

Human relationships worked the same way. People spending time together rubbed off on each other. Subtle. Gradual. Inevitable.

Neville and Hannah had joined M.S.C. Now they were bolder than before. Asked questions. Sought solutions. Actually spoke up.

Wizette learned from them too. Their unique perspectives. Hannah's gentle care for herbology. The twins' wild alchemy ideas. All of it inspiring.

Professor Flitwick's warmth. Snape's severity. McGonagall's unwavering integrity. Sprout's cheerful ease.

Every Hogwarts professor shaped him, bit by bit.

Salazar Slytherin's words echoed in his mind: "Every action of the Guardian ripples through the magical world."

The previous Guardian's protection. Quirrell's sacrifice. Dumbledore's selfless dedication. Luna's unconditional trust and support.

Wizette treasured these moments. He was ready. Whatever challenges came, he'd face them.

But first? Keep learning. That was the priority.

Learning and challenges were like studying and exams—a way to test what you'd learned.

His Animagus thesis was nearly done. Just some finishing touches, then he could show McGonagall and the others.

Finishing the paper didn't mean finishing the research. Animagus magic had depths worth exploring. He'd organized those ideas too, planning to discuss them with the professors when he submitted.

Winter melted away. The cold, damp weather retreated. Life returned to the Scottish Highlands.

Spring arrived. Everything awakened.

Luna and Hannah stayed busy, filling the corridor with magical plants. They'd modeled it after the Hufflepuff common room—Hannah described the layout, Luna sketched it out.

Hufflepuffs studied different things. Compared to the other three houses, they knew Hogwarts Castle inside and out.

Hannah kept finding usable furniture in abandoned classrooms. After M.S.C. repaired them, the pieces worked perfectly.

Through everyone's efforts, the corridor became cozy and comfortable, perfect for studying or relaxing.

Another weekend. All M.S.C. members gathered in the corridor.

Hannah spoke first for once, placing a parchment list on the table. "My great-great-uncle sent this. He wants to order another batch of Coolic."

"An order! Let me see!" Fred's eyes lit up. He grabbed the parchment.

George leaned in close, scanning the list. "Would you look at that! The Leaky Cauldron wants quite a lot!"

Neville moved behind the twins, craning his neck to peek. "Can we handle this? Exams are coming up soon..."

"That sounds familiar!" George's eyes widened. "Who've you been talking to?"

"Let me guess..." Fred hummed thoughtfully. "Was it Hermione?"

Neville nodded. "Yeah... I ran into her leaving the library this morning. She was talking to Harry and Ron about it."

"Hermione..." George nodded knowingly. "That explains it. What did Ron say?"

"Uh..." Neville scratched his head. "Something about exams being hundreds of years away..."

"Ha!" Fred grinned mischievously, counting on his fingers. "I can guess what Hermione said. 'Just over ten weeks until exams! That's the blink of an eye.'"

"Yeah... that's what she said." Neville nodded honestly.

"So about this order?" Hannah tried steering back on topic. "My great-great-uncle said if it sells well enough, he'll order a huge batch over summer holiday!"

Fred's excitement vanished. "That's a problem!"

George grimaced. "Looking at these numbers... just the few of us? That's rough."

Luna spoke up. "What about using machines to make them?"

"Machines?" Fred and George said in unison, turning to Luna.

"Like this..." Luna pulled out the sketchbook Wizette had given her and drew with the crystal pen. A spinning-wheel-like device appeared on the page.

Fred studied the sketchbook curiously. "Luna, that sketchbook... that's not just any magical item, is it?"

Luna smiled and nodded. "Wizette gave it to me..."

"Ohhh..." Fred drew out the word, grinning slyly.

George focused on the diagram. "A magical printing press! But we lack sustained magical power for long-term operation..."

"That's controlled by other pure-blood families. And buying a magical printer outright... doesn't quite fit..."

"We actually have magical power." Wizette looked up from his notes. "Remember that house-elf magical pattern?"

He pointed at Luna's sketchbook. "You gave me your research results back then. I tried making a magical item with it. Worked perfectly!"

"Right, right! That pattern would work!" The twins' eyes brightened, then dimmed immediately. "But we'd need crystal... pure crystal isn't cheap!"

In alchemy and magical item crafting, if you ignored cost, high-purity crystal was an excellent all-purpose material.

That's why crystal prices ran high and why the twins hadn't considered it.

George added, "There might be substitute materials... but we'd need constant testing. That'd cost a fortune in Galleons..."

Fred sounded helpless. "And our savings... we've invested everything into prank product research..."

Wizette spoke decisively. "I can find more."

"Oh yeah! The Parseltongue Whistles!" Fred realized. "You still have high-purity crystal?"

"We can write you an IOU!" George bounced excitedly. "Though paying it back... might take a while!"

The twins understood clearly. Coolic had good profit margins. As long as they kept selling, paying back the money wouldn't be difficult.
