After finally ending the fierce battle, Veronica shook her burning left arm and shouted to the people around her, "More Imperial reinforcements are coming from behind! My companions are holding them off. Come with me!"
With that, she led the way back in the direction they had come from.
. . .
The Force Choke became the signature move of the Sith Lord Darth Vader and a special ability of the dark side.
Any Force user can master the Force Choke, as long as their Force is stronger than their opponent's or they strike quickly enough to take them by surprise.
However, the use of the Force is limited. Excessive use in a short period of time will cause brain fatigue, drowsiness, and even unconsciousness.
Every time Amir pushed his limits with the Force, he would sleep for a long time afterward.
Similarly, after an enemy heavily uses the Force, there is a brief period of vulnerability. During this time, Amir could use the chokehold to control an enemy who was stronger than him.
The Seventh Sister in front of him was undoubtedly nearing her limit. Driven by anger, she continuously overused the Force to increase her speed and strength.
The fifth brother had been conserving his use of the Force, but he had already used a significant amount.
However, Amir had not used the Force extensively throughout the entire battle. He had only used it a few times to predict the enemy's attack routes through the flow of the Force. Why didn't he use it more?
Amir couldn't.
Using the Force to move at incredible speeds, enhancing a lightsaber with the Force, and lightsaber combat techniques all require a master who can use the Force with great skill to teach.
The self-taught methods Amir had developed only allowed him to master the basic Force choke.
He decided to take a gamble, betting that he could subdue the two using only the most primitive techniques.
Seeing that Amir had lost his lightsaber, Seven Sister and Five Brother relaxed and slowly approached him like hunters preparing to toy with their prey.
Seven Sister was confident of victory. She raised her lightsaber with her left hand, wearing a twisted smile. "Surrender now! Let me take you back to the fortress tribunal and make you taste the pain I once endured!"
But she saw the figure in front of her wearing a clone trooper helmet slowly extend his hands. Suddenly, a force surged around her body, and her throat felt as though it were being choked.
"Ah! Not this again! Oh!" the Seventh Sister didn't encounter much resistance. She had let her guard down completely when Amir's lightsaber hit the ground, depleting her Force energy.
However, a powerful counterforce came from the Fifth Brother. His dark Force constantly resisted Amir's choking force.
But Amir eventually succeeded. The feet of the two Imperial Judges left the ground, and their legs trembled.
"This is more exhausting than I imagined!" Amir furrowed his brows. Using the Force to choke the two judges was far more draining than he had anticipated.
Five Brother's struggles in particular were leaving him exhausted.
Despite their resistance, Amir couldn't break their throats. He was about to give up.
"Amir!" Hearing Veronica's voice from behind him, Amir finally exhaled in relief.
Dense beams of light were fired toward them. Veronica fired her blaster wildly with her left hand, and the five rebel members surrounding them immediately opened fire on the Imperial judges.
When his life was threatened, the dark original Force erupted, breaking free from Amir's restraints. He picked up the spinning double-bladed lightsaber from the ground and transformed the blades into a fan, deflecting all the blaster beams outside.
Amir finally let go, and the Seventh Sister fell behind the Fifth Brother, coughing violently on the ground.
Seeing the overwhelming number of enemies, the Fifth Brother pulled the Seventh Sister to her feet and fled backward at top speed.
"Are you okay?" Veronica approached Amir and helped him to his feet.
"Just a bit dizzy. What about Hck and the others?" Amir rubbed his helmet and replied.
"They went to rescue the children. They should be here soon."
No sooner had he finished speaking than Hack arrived from behind with a group of children.
"Amir! Thanks to you and your friends, we would have suffered heavy losses this time." Hak said, with a researcher in a white lab coat beside him.
"Who is this?" Amir asked.
"We'll talk on the way!" Hak said, then led the children toward the exit. "The imperial reinforcements are about to arrive."
Outside, a medium-sized troop transport ship landed just as Amir and the others came out. Hak and the others led the children through the entrance and onto the ship.
At the entrance, Gulina, who had golden hair, and her younger brother, Lorin, held hands and bowed deeply to Amir from a distance.
Hak and his group had already sealed off the signals, slowing down the Empire's reinforcements.
However, several Empire titanium fighters could already be seen in the distance, heading toward them.
Amir and Veronica hopped onto their flying motorcycles without any formalities and headed straight for the lower levels. After wandering the chaotic, rugged lower levels for a long time, Amir took off his helmet and returned to the Traveler with Veronica.
Amir fought off a strong sense of dizziness and found a bedroom, where he collapsed onto the bed.
The quiet ship with the lights off made Amir feel comfortable for the first time in a long while.
He seemed to be dreaming. In it, he saw the twin suns of Tatooine. A ten-year-old child wandered around the farm, bored. In the distance, on high ground, a bearded man put down his telescope and began to meditate.
Banshee beasts with huge horns strolled leisurely across the endless sand dunes while the shrill cries of Jawas and Tusken Raiders armed with Gardefi weapons echoed in the distance.
Darkness swirled around them, constantly circling the sand dunes.
Veronica sat in the hall and opened the holographic projection of the navigation system. She browsed the planets in the outer ring.
They told her that they were a small resistance force. Though they were somewhat organized, they lacked a unified combat base.
Currently, they were secretly supporting resistance forces on individual planets by transporting weapons and resources to them. The supported forces didn't even know they were part of the resistance.
For now, this was all they could do—bring a glimmer of hope to the people of the oppressed planets in the outer ring.
However, the time for rebellion was drawing near. Their intelligence network had received orders to secretly contact independent resistance forces on various planets and prepare for the upcoming uprising.
She thought again of the holographic recorder she had obtained in the explosion. The device should be able to bring them assistance.
Idly gazing at the stars in the star map, she felt her desire to leave growing stronger by the moment.
