Ruth Hale didn't listen to Serena Sullivan's words; she was immersed in the thought of how ecstatic she would feel after Serena's face was slapped to a pulp.
"Go, grab that little girl tightly."
"If you do this, I'll help you sign up for The Brilliance Competition."
Ruth Hale said to the girl next to her.
The girl looked at Ruth with confusion and shook her head repeatedly after hearing she was supposed to hit someone, "I can't."
"Useless thing!"
Ruth said angrily and slapped the girl's face, leaving a clear mark of five fingers on her cheek.
After slapping someone, Ruth felt even better.
She glanced coldly at Serena, deliberately slowing her steps, approaching like a hunter stalking its prey.
As for the little girl behind Serena, she saw her as nothing more than a servant, not worth any attention.
Couldn't she expect this servant to scream and hide in the corner when a slap reached Serena?
