The room was thick with tension.
Elyria stood frozen in place, her silver-white hair slightly disheveled and her breathing heavy. Her eyes were locked onto the tall man standing just a few steps away, holding both her students by their necks with terrifying ease.
Viktor.
A name she never expected to hear again... especially not in a situation like this.
Her mind raced.
'What was he doing here? Why was he holding her students hostage? And most importantly, how was he connected to Alex?'
Viktor smiled calmly, but his grip never loosened. Their faces were pale, struggling to breathe as they looked at Elyria with desperate eyes.
"What happened, Elyria?" Viktor said smoothly, his voice carrying a hint of amusement. "You don't look very happy to see me after such a long time. I'm really disappointed."
Elyria's jaw tightened. Her rage from earlier had disappeared… it had transformed into something far more complicated.
