"Please… Save me. Please!"
Howard's voice cracked as he knelt in front of Heena, clutching the edge of her robe with both hands. His face was wet with tears, and his body trembled violently.
"If I had known… If I had known you had connections to people like her…" he sobbed, glancing fearfully at Elyria. "I would have never neglected you. I would have treated you like a queen. But please, I'm begging you. Save me this one time. I swear I'll change!"
Heena stared at Howard, her heart heavy. She didn't know what to say. Part of her pitied him, but another part of her felt disgusted by how quickly he was begging for his life.
Before she could open her mouth, Elyria's expression darkened. She had heard enough.
'This bastard,'
In a flash, Elyria moved. She struck Howard with a powerful palm strike to his back, sending him flying across the room. He crashed into the wall with a loud thud before slumping to the ground, unconscious.
Heena gasped in shock.
"A-Aunt!" she cried out.
