"Kami-sama, don't worry! Boss's father is here after all! Oh, right—Kami-sama, do you know where my boss went?"
Dende trembled as he answered.
"Big Brother Trunks and Broly went to another planet together."
This news hit like a bombshell.
Not only was Trunks not on Earth, but Broly was gone as well.
These two were crucial fighting forces against Beerus.
Yet now, neither of them was on Earth.
Upon hearing this, Piccolo grew even tenser.
The next moment, while still deep in thought, Piccolo suddenly felt alert. An indescribable sense that something was wrong welled up inside him.

Guilt washed over Dende's face, and his voice grew so faint it was barely audible.
His words were like a sharp blade, stabbing right into Piccolo's heart. His expression grew darker and darker. He took a step back in disbelief, narrowing his eyes as he stared intensely at Whis in the distance.
At the same time, Whis returned his gaze with a gentle smile and a graceful nod.
In that moment, Piccolo's heart felt like a volcano on the verge of eruption. Scorching magma boiled violently inside his chest.
