Whis's words were like an oasis in the desert, instantly soothing Son Goku and Gohan's hearts.
Whis continued, "Before we proceed, I must inform you of something crucial." His tone turned solemn, causing them both to tense up.
"Crossing time itself is a grave crime. And now, your battle is no longer something known only to me." A hint of worry flashed through Whis's eyes as though he could see what might happen next.
"It seems that the Angels and Gods of Destruction from other universes seem to be closely monitoring this battle." He continued, his voice carrying a trace of concern.
"In other words, the fact that you shattered space and traveled through time has already been discovered by the Gods of Destruction in other universes." Whis's words struck Son Goku and Gohan like a bombshell.
"To put it bluntly, the Great Priest and Zen'ō (King of All) are now aware of this." This revelation sent a further shock through their hearts, as they fully grasped the gravity of the situation.
Son Goku and Gohan exchanged a glance and saw a hint of panic appear in each other's eyes.
Dealing with Beerus alone had forced them to give it their all, and they were well aware of the terrifying power of Zen'ō, the King of All.
"However, I still can't understand why Lord Zen'ō and the Great Priest haven't intervened. It's truly baffling," Whis said, his voice tinged with puzzlement.
"Could it be that they've tacitly approved of your actions? Meaning Lord Zen'ō and the Great Priest won't hold you accountable?" Whis said slowly, his tone filled with doubt.
"However, such leniency would inevitably undermine the authority of the Gods of Destruction. The other Gods would surely resent it."
"If there is no punishment, they will probably harbor resentment." Whis frowned slightly, fully aware of how tricky the situation was.
The other four listened intently to Whis's analysis with grave and solemn expressions on their faces.
Son Goku suddenly spoke up, his eyes gleaming with determination. "So, Whis, what should we do? Is there any way to resolve this problem?"
Whis smiled faintly, as if he had anticipated Son Goku's question. He nodded gently and said, "I have a foolproof plan to avert all these issues."
"First, I can reverse time to three minutes ago without creating a new parallel timeline. The reversal will only affect our current timeline."
"Second, only Lord Beerus and you will retain knowledge of this event. It won't affect your memories."
"However, all Angels and Lord Zen'ō (King of All) will be aware of this. The other Gods of Destruction will remain unaware."
"Therefore, the next course of action is up to you. My role is simply to reverse time to three minutes ago."
As for stopping the collapse of the Void Realm, it rests entirely on your shoulders."
As soon as he finished speaking, several more dull rumbling sounds echoed through the Void Realm, and fragments began drifting toward Universe 7.
The Void Realm now resembled a black hole, expanding endlessly and advancing toward Universe 7, greedily devouring its galaxies.
There was no time to waste; they couldn't afford to wait any longer!
"Mr. Whis! Please!" Gohan shouted anxiously.
At that moment, Vegeta was staring intently at Whis's every move. Manipulating time... such an act against the natural order... was truly astonishing.
What kind of beings are Angels, exactly?!
Before the amazement could even settle, in the very next second, Angel Whis began to swing the staff in his hand.
In an instant, a mysterious beam of light burst forth from the staff, and in the blink of an eye, everything around them began to twist and distort.
Time and space accelerated as they flowed backward.
Everyone began moving backward, disappearing from this spacetime.
The next moment, the spatial rift reappeared.
Simultaneously, Vegito and Truhan materialized once more.
Beerus also reappeared in the Void Realm, unharmed.
At that point, time had returned to three minutes earlier.
Beerus stood facing off against Vegito with a dark and gloomy expression on his face, not saying a word.
Although time had returned to three minutes earlier, Beerus still retained the memory of being defeated by their combined efforts.
Staring at Beerus's grim expression, Vegito and Truhan didn't dare take their eyes off him for even a moment.
This was because Beerus, like them, retained his memories from before.
In other words, Beerus now had a complete grasp of all their techniques.
If he was still intent on destroying them, things would become even more troublesome.
So the father and son did not relax their guard at all.
But in the next moment, Beerus suddenly lifted his dark face, and he completely withdrew all his power.
Truhan and Vegito instantly felt their entire bodies grow lighter.
Beerus murmured, "Very impressive. Though I was careless, you truly accomplished it."
"Therefore, as a God, I will honor my promise and refrain from destroying Earth. Also, thank you for saving me when I was at my weakest."
He said this while looking at Vegito.
Vegito's lips curled into a slight smirk as he spoke. "No need to thank me. I just couldn't stand that guy."
"So, does that mean what happened in that timeline never actually occurred?"
"Is that imposter version of me still alive?"
As soon as these words were spoken, they caught Beerus's attention.
Beerus mused, "Theoretically, you're right. However, Whis mentioned earlier that the time reversal only affected our timeline."
"Therefore, that timeline likely wasn't reversed like ours, and he's still dead."
Just then, Truhan approached them. His gaze immediately locked onto Vegito's left hand. The Time Ring that he had taken from Black Vegito was still there.
That meant Beerus was telling the truth.
"But now isn't the time to worry about that, is it?" Beerus remarked.
"Our battle isn't over yet!"
Suddenly, Beerus's eyes sharpened, and a fierce light flashed across his face as his destructive aura bloomed once again.
Vegito and Trunks's expressions tightened, they hadn't expected Beerus to break his promise!
Bang!
With lightning speed, Beerus unleashed a punch aimed squarely at Truhan's chest.
Yet, in the next instant, Truhan stood frozen in place, feeling no pain whatsoever.
Beerus said, "Those other eleven guys are watching, after all. We should at least put on an act."
"Also, put away your Time Rings. Don't give them any leverage."
Truhan hadn't expected Beerus to say that. In other words, Beerus had fully acknowledged them.
He was even considering things on their behalf.
Truhan smiled slightly. "Understood, Lord Beerus."
