Having ventured the Alleyway where the drama was taking place, what greeted Kailen was the sight of a woman in some sort of mask about to inject a little girl of about 7 years old with a syringe. The little girl was being held down by another fellow, a man with a menacing mask on his face as the woman was about to proceed with her inhumane act.
''Look boy, you better turn the other cheek, go on about your business and you won't have to die. This has nothing to do with you'' The woman threatened Kailen, a glint of fury in her eyes.
Kailen wasted no time with unnecessary trash talk'' Vengeful, come out''
In the blink of an eye, a towering draconic creature with an obsidian figure, a ginormous arrow tip tail, two legs and a pair of ginormous wings appeared before them.
''S-S ranked monster?. quick, run'' . No longer caring about the little girl they had decided to abduct , they decided to make a run for it. After all, they could always find another child somewhere on the streets.
However before they could move a single step, the little girl, gleaming with excitement in her eyes, could not even notice the two bolts of black lightning that flashed in the vicinity and landed on the two assailants. All she saw was flashes of black light and the next thing she noticed was that her assailants were suddenly nowhere to be found.
The assailants could not even scream, neither did they even see their lives flashing before their eyes., before they died.
Simply put, Vengeful's lightning attack was so strong that, the assailants died, disintegrating into nothings from the attack before they even had the chance to register it.
''thanks for saving me, uncle'' The little girl panted heavily, with a wild gleam in her eyes.
''You don't seem scared of me'' Kailen questioned her, He had noticed the expression on her face when he made his appearance, and also summoned Vengeful.
''How can I be afraid of my savior. Besides, everyone in this city knows about you. Your are Kailen Darkhaven right?'' The girl adjusted her backpack as she spoke, picking up her books that had fallen on the ground.
Kailen had figured the young girl had probably seen the Smallvile county video and recognized him from that.
He didn't question her further. He was just about to turn around to leave, when he felt a tug on his sleeve.
''Uncle, please take me home''
Kailen sighed ''She's just a little girl after all, pretty much shook up from all the drama she's had to experience today''
He agreed to walk the little girl home, following her directions.
'' My dad actually kept talking about how he owed you his life when he returned home... He kept thanking you whenever he watched the video'' The little girl beamed with a smile, as she spoke.
Kailen however was taken aback and did not know how to respond to those words. A strange feeling of being appreciated almost welled up in his heart, however he shove it down, as memories of being disdained by the people of the city wherever he went, flooded his mind. ''They treat me like some sort of hero now huh, cynical hypocrites '' Of course, he only cursed in his mind, forcing a smile for the sake of the little girl.
Along the journey, as they walked through the streets, little girl spoke about how she was abducted. She was on her way to the house as usual, taking a shortcut home by passing through the alleyway where she had been almost abducted, her reason being that her dad had run late coming to pick her up. Therefore she had decided to take matters into her own hands.
'' Parents picking her up huh..'' Kailen mused inwardly, recalling a time where this was a usual routine for him. However, it all had to go down the drain because of those diabolic beasts. His resolve to tear those bastards apart further increased.
''You should not wander around aimlessly you know, That scary mister and missus you saw earlier, they are called deranged awakeners, a group of awakeners who engage in all sorts of criminal acts. They are involved in kidnapping, organ trafficking, human trafficking, large scale robberies among many other evil acts you can think of. Next time, wait for your dad to come pick you up'' Kailen gave the small girl a little lecture.
''Mmmm'' The little girl responded with a childlike innocent smile
''Sometimes I wish I could go back to being an innocent little lamb who knows nothing about the world's cruelty '' Kailen sighed inwardly as he mused to himself '' But aren't children also the most vulnerable, in this kind of world? Naïve, weak, innocent, easy to manipulate?. Ah, Have I turned into some philosopher, Confucius or something?'' He chuckled, causing the little girl to stare at him curiously.
''What's funny uncle''
''Oh, just remembered a joke ''
''Oh really, tell me''
Kailen cursed himself for what he said. Children were curious creatures
However he didn't have to think of any forced joke, the little girl's next words delivering him.
'' There'' The child pointed at a normal family house in the neighborhood they had reached . A man and a woman stood outside the house with a bunch of law enforcement officers. Kailen deduced it definitely had something to do with the missing girl.
When they saw their daughter holding the hand of an unknown young man, they rushed out to her. The young girl rushed towards her parents, who hugged her , ignoring everyone around them, she nagged non stop about how she had been kidnapped, in her father's embrace, causing him to console her. She told her parents about how Kailen had saved her and brought her home.
However Kailen heard the whispers of the law enforcement officers, who were standing a distance away from the couple.
''Is that him''
''Kailen Darkhaven''
''The E ranker who stirred up the city a few weeks ago''
''How is he suddenly a B ranked awakener?''
''Is he not too monstrous?"
''Wait, how does he know this family?''
''Well, Michael is a D ranked awakener , so they could have probably met on a mission''
''Wait the little girl just said he saved her life, so it's probably a coincidence. ''
''yeah she just said she directed him home... Kids these days are smart gotta tell you''
''Yeah, my little girl can use a phone now, and she's only 5''
Kailen turned around, ignoring the couple and the law enforcement officers ''At least she got home safely, time to leave''. He had more important things to focus on today.
However, a male voice full of choking gratitude rung from behind him '' thank you, thank you for bringing my daughter home sir. You may not have remembered me, however I was there at Smallvile County. You saved my life on that day sir, and you also saved my daughter today. If there is anything I can do to repay you, please name it, anything''
Kailen found the man's response abrupt.
It seemed sincere. However , he did not dwell on it. It did not change the fact that had he been weak, this same gentleman would have given Kailen the same scornful looks he was familiar with in the past. He however, turned around to face the young girl's parents, who stared at their daughter tenderly.
That look reminded him of how his parents looked at him. Kailen was not a sentimental person; however his next words were sincere. Only he knew the pain he had dealt with for losing his parents.
''No problem, you have a lovely daughter and wife. You are a lucky man, please, take good care of them'' After saying that , Kailen's figure blurred, then he disappeared.
The couple, along with the law enforcement officers stood there, flabbergasted.
After exchanging a few words with couple, the law enforcement officers left, leaving the family of three by themselves.
The wife and daughter went inside, leaving the father by himself, staring into the skies.
Michael mused inwardly 'I am still too weak. If I were stronger, my family would have a better life. Perhaps, I could try to enroll in Zanpala University. Over there, I would have enough resources to improve my strength. Today's incident has opened my eyes to the reality of being weak, and not financially stable. The security in this neighborhood is pretty poor . I have to move out of here, and I have to be strong enough to protect my family. My only choice is to try to enroll''
After coming to a decision , he turned around and entered the house.

Kailen stood before the awakener's center of New Alexandria city. The last time he came here he was just an E ranked awakened, but now, he didn't think he had anyone that could threaten him in the city.
He entered the awakening center, ignoring the glances and discussions about him, heading towards the counter.
It was time to put his plan in motion.

" How come he's radiating the aura of B ranked awakener "
" I think he's probably coming to update his awakener's card"
" Quick, let's observe . This is gonna be a good show"
Kailen ignored the conversations about him and headed towards the counter .
Unlike the last time he visited the awakeners centre, the individual present at the counter this time was a gentleman donned in a white blazer.
Kailen quickly went down to business "Hello, I'm here to inquire about how to create a guild''
The young man looked at Kailen with a shocked expression on his face. He could sense the aura of a B ranked awakener radiating from Kailen.
The young man was flaggerbasted. Not everyone could create a guild. The man before him seemed extremely young,yet he was a B ranked awakener?
" As expected of the monster that everyone is talking about ... He is simply monstrous... How can someone have such fast breakthrough speed. Wasn't it just recently that he became an E ranked?" The gentleman at the counter mused to himself, then proceeded to give Kailen an answer.
" Sir, in order to create a guild,you need to be at least a B ranked awakener, which you qualify for. However, although you radiate the aura of B ranked awakener, for official processes , you'll need to have your rank reaccesed before you can proceed.
Secondly you need to have at least 3 guild members , in order to create the guild." The gentleman proceeded to explain the process to Kailen .
Kailen smirked then voiced " Come out "
Immediately ,Feral , Avarice , and the three dark fiend shadow hounds appeared at the awakening centre....
The towering shadow creatures caused people to scream in shock. Had Kailen commanded Everfrost and Vengeful to appear , one could only imagine the kind of commotion that would have caused...
" Oh my god ... I'm not hallucinating right?"
" This is simply inconceivable..."
" What the hell... Where did this guy come from..."
"4 B ranked creatures and 1 C ranked creature?..."
" So this is what this Kailen Darkhaven is capable of"
" He's gonna use them as his guild members?"
" Damn... Some people are born blessed by the heavens...and others are born doomed for hell"
Kailen ignored the reactions of the crowd.
He turned to look at he gentleman at the counter who was completely flabbergasted then asked
" That counts right?... These guys are my guild members "
"Uh-uh... Yes sir ...Certainly .... Sir ..you don't even have to reevaluate yourself ...I'll have a B ranked awakener's card prepared for you immediately"
The gentleman scrumbled with words, extremely shocked about the incident that had just occured.
He was not an idiot, with the power Kailen had just demonstrated , was it even necessary for him to reevaluate himself... ?
He quickly made a call, and a few seconds later, a new awakener's card was brought to Kailen ,indicating that he was B ranked.
The commotion still reigned in the hall.
" This guy is crazy ,those summons of his are his guild members?"
" Im gonna start a fan club for him... haha....".
" This Kailen Darkhaven can really think outside the box.... Also he's extremely monstrous ... To think he literally has an army of 4 B ranked diabolic beasts and 1 c ranked Daibolic beast following him.... "
"Not forgetting that barely a few weeks after he awakened , he has become a B ranked awakened.... His breakthrough speed is extremely fast... Not to mention the fact that he also has an S ranked talent "
Since there was no need for the shadows creatures to still be in the hall, Kailen commanded them to reenter the shadow expanse , proceeding to sign the documents for the guild creation, arriving at the last step,which was choosing a guild name.
" Sir ,what name would you like to give to the guild?"
Kailen thought for a few seconds, then wrote 'Penumbra Guild'.
' After all , I specialize in shadows' He mused to himself.
He proceeded to hand the documents over to the gentleman at the counter, who called for someone to proceed to process the documents.
A few moments later, a yellow guild card bearing the name " Penumbra Guild, B ranked " was handed over to Kailen.
Guilds were ranked based on the rank of the Guild Master. If a guild master was B ranked, the guild would be a B ranked guild. If a guild master was an S ranked awakener ,the guild would be an S ranked guild,in that order.
What Kailen asked the gentleman at the counter next caused everyone at the hall to open their mouths wide in shock.
"I would like to issue a guild war against the Sunset Guild "
" I'm sorry sir,what did you say?" The gentleman asked...
Kailen looked at him as though he wanted to say 'dude , are seriously asking me that'
The young man cleared his throat embarrassingly , then proceeded to take Kailen through the process of initiating the guild war.
However , the crowd broke out in shock again.
" Is this guy crazy?... Even with those summons of his, does he think he can defeat the Sunset Guild?"
" The sunset guild is the strongest guild in the city...is he dreaming?"
" I believe he can do it... This Kailen Darkhaven has always been full of surprises."
" This will be a very good show to watch after all"
A guild war was a challenge issued by one guild to another guild...
According to Article 5 subsection 2 of the Awakeners Association Federation law, a guild war was a medium through which guilds settled grudges that could not be reconciled in any other way apart from the death of one party.
An individual needed to have a solid reason to issue a guild war towards the other party , as it would end in the death of the members of one guild.
Of course guild wars were rarely issued . Rarely did guilds want to risk their resources and members over issues. After all, there were many ways of taking revenge for an offense from another guild .
These methods included assassinations , blackmailing, use of the media to influence public opinion ,amongst others.
Why risk your whole guild to fight another person over a petty reason, when you could personally end them secretly without risking your guild members and resources ?
However Kailen wanted to make an open declaration to the guilds in the city that he could not be messed with. And he intended to use the Sunset Guild as a scapegoat. Anyone that dared to offend him, would die.
" State your reason for the guild war sir " The young man at the counter asked Kailen,eagerly curious just like everyone in the hall.
Everyone remained silent, awaiting Darkhaven's reason for issuing a guild war towards the Sunset Guild.
" Conrad Ronald, the guild master of Sunset guild,wanted to have me assassinated. I therefore issue a guild war against the Sunset Guild right now . If he dares not accept, I think he would be not only the most useless, but cowardly and hypocritical person who has ever lived."
'I've read about this Conrad Ronald, he's hot headed and has a short fuse. Insulting him is the icing on the cake. There's no way he won't accept the guild war ,now that I've insulted him' Kailen mused inwardly, satisfied with his plan.
Boom... As though a bomb had been released various chatters resounded through the Awakeners center, each person's expression filled with complete shock.
" This Kailen Darkhaven is really someone with balls. I got to admit"
" He's really fearless and smart. He probably knows that if there's one thing Conrad cannot tolerate, it's an insult ,especially a public one,as he has a short fuse"
" Im sure we are in for a good show"
" Gal I hope you've been streaming this?. This is gonna make the headlines. Our streaming site is gonna make lots of money from this juicy drama"
" Hehehe... We have 5000 views right now"
" I'm sure Conrad will appear very soon"
Kailen remained indifferent to the words of the crowd, awaiting the words of the gentleman at counter.
" Very well sir. The guild war has been issued. I will notify the Sunset Guild immediately and let you know their response"
The young man at the counter was just about to make a call to the Sunset Guild, when a silhouete akin to a blazing sun landed infront of the awakening center, causing a loud sound akin to something falling to resonate in the ears of everyone present in the Awakening center .
" Looks like a good show is about to begin."
" That's definitely Conrad Ronald"
" Yeah, it seems to much of a coincidence . If it's not him then who could it be?"
Confirming the words of the crowd,the doors of the awakening centre swung open,as a muscular man with a robust physique entered the awakening centre . His expression was not pleasant,as he fumed with rage.
Kailen stared at Conrad Ronald calmly, then mused to himself " Jackpot "

A few minutes earlier.
In a hotel suite atop a high skyscraper.
Conrad Ronald's lascivious gaze lingered between the mirror he stood before and the beauty that lay beneath the sheets asleep without a care in the world .
He had decided to put today's ' recreational activity' to a halt . After all, he had to begin his preparations to end Kailen Darkhaven .
However, his lubriciousness fought with his reasoning , tempting him to almost procrastinate his plans.
Before he almost gave in to his lasciviousness and put off his clothes, however, the ringing of his phone reached his ear.
His expression changed to one of annoyance when he saw the name of the caller . However he picked the phone .
" Angela, what do you want ?"
" Yo, chill man. Can't I just call the gentleman who tried to force himself on me a few years ago and wish him farewell " The female voice at the other end of the call, Angela Hayes, responded, a sarcastic tone dominant in her voice.
" You've rejected my advances towards you for as long as I can remember , and besides I apologized for that incident . I told you I was drunk. Can't you just let it go. Also, we haven't spoken in 10 years, why would you call me?. Is today April fool's day or something?" Angela could sense an impatient and annoyed tone from Conrad's voice,however , she didn't care about this bastard anyway.
Having seen a vision a few hours ago about him sprawled dead in an arena today with blood spewing from every orifice of his body, she had happily called the bastard to wish him farewells to the afterlife.
Being a social media fanatic used to watching videos on Vutube, she had seen Livestream of an event happening at the Awakeners' center of New Alexandria City that confirmed her vision.
In the video, the student , who had shook the city recently, and whose past information she had dug up these few weeks, Kailen Darkhaven, had revealed he was a B ranked awakener ,created a guild with some sort of strange summoned diabolic beasts as his guild members, and issued a guild war towards Conrad Ronald.
She connected the dots quickly ,coming to a realisation that the death of Conrad would have something to do with Kailen Darkhaven.
She quickly replied " Like I said , I called to wish you farewell. Also, you should check Vutube, you'll love what you see " After that, Angela Hayes chuckled , then ended the call.
Standing before the mirror,Conrad thought about Angela's words . " What did she mean by calling me to wish me farewell?. Is she leaving the city soon?... Has she probably taken a liking to me finally?. Has she accepted my feelings?... Or could what she said be related to one of her crazy visions?. I've heard some rumors that she can see visions about the future , however they've been brushed off as baseless rumors. Never mind, let's check what's happening on Vutube "

A few minutes later .

Fumes of rage exploded from Conrad, materializing into red flames,further causing the temperature of the room to soar to new heights of searing heat. " That bastard, I'm gonna rip him to shreds... " What followed was the breaking of the mirror Conrad stood before, the shards spinning before they fell to the tiled carpeted floor.
The beauty laying beneath the sheets woke up with a scream at the sudden sound akin to something breaking in the room.
With her now paled fearful eyes , her whole body shook,as she covered herself with the blanket,staring at Conrad fuming in rage, with flames dancing around his figure, and trashing anything his hands came into contact with in the room.
He turned around to stare at the woman with rage ,flames dancing in his cold eyes and around his whole figure ,then bellowed , " What are you looking at, you whore, get the hell out of my room! "
Her central nervous system kicked in, initiating a flight response .The woman bolted out of the room with the blankets covering her whole body ,not wanting to ever get involved with any awakener ever again. She had spent the night with this man because he would pay her twice the amount the usual customers would pay her, however she cherished her life. In fact she even decided to quit the business for the rest of her life.
As for Conrad , donning a red armor made from the body of an A ranked diabolic buffalo ,flames flickered beneath his feet, his figure shot towards the glass windows, causing the windows to break into glass shards ,then with sickening rage, he fell, his destination, the Awakener's centre of New Alexandria City.
" Summon all the guild members and tell them to meet me at the Cirella Stadium . It's time for war..."
He spoke through a special gluetooth device that could withstand the destructive power of awakened A ranked and below.
" Yes sir" A female voice responded, after which the call ended.

Conrad Ronald entered the awakener's centre with extreme rage. His presence was accompanied with searing flames that caused the the temperature to experience a dramatic rise.
" As expected of the Boiling Fuse. He really has a short fuse. But why would an A ranked awakener sink so low to the point of accepting a guild war from a B ranked awakener ?"
"The Boiling Fuse?"
" That's his nickname. Are you sure you live in this city?. Boiling because he has the powerful flame affinity, Fuse because he has a short fuse, easily gets angry and acts without thinking"
" I admire him . He's a fearless and no nonsense man.As a man ,one should act with your fists and think about nothing else"
" Such power"
" This is gonna be a good show"
" Quickly girl, turn the video stream towards him"
" Is that the Scarlet Borne Armor he's wearing ?."
Conrad ignored the whispers of the crowd ,barely managing to hold in his rage ,his gaze focusing on Kailen Darkhaven who stared back at him with a relaxed smile . The temperature rose further to new heights . It seemed Conrad had lost sense of reason,upon seeing Darkhaven's taunting,mocking smile.
" Sir, please calm down . No fights can be initiated in the awakener's center" A B ranked guard appeared before Conrad, reminding him that the Awakener's centre was not a place anyone could just walk into and start a commotion. Besides the Awakener's centre had the backing of the Federation government after all. If Conrad tried anything funny in the awakener's centre, he would face the consequences.
Conrad finally reigned in his rage, nodded politely at the guard, since he could not mess with the awakener's centre. He then glanced at Kailen .
" Not only did you reject the invitation to join my guild, you also killed two of my guild members . I had decided to deal with you through other methods , however ,you've completely trashed over my dignity and that of my guild today. How can I ,as a man, sit back and watch a puny B ranked awakener insult me.I accept to have the guild war. Today, I will kill you and hang your head atop a skyscraper. Meet me at Cirella Stadium in a few minutes from now"
Conrad turned around after he spoke,then left.
As for Kailen, he was relaxed through Conrad's trash talk. His plan has proceded perfectly. He had lured the prey into his trap successfully .
" It seems he's more stupid than I thought. Risking his life just because of a public insult?. Why would an insult offend you when you know that you are not who the person says you are? Had he rejected the guild war, it would have just been seen by the general public as he not taking a B ranked Awakener like me seriously. However , what do you expect from the Boiling Fuse. The nickname really suits him well" Kailen mused inwardly, then left the awakener's centre.
However, news of the guild war spread throughout the city . Everyone was talking about it.
Social media handles had taken it upon themselves to broadcast the event to the whole city.
Even some individuals outside in nearby cities who paid attention to the happenings of the cities close to them had decided to tune into the streaming platforms of New Alexandria City to watch the event. After all, a guild war was something that rarely occured.
Even New Alexandria Academy had halted classroom activities. Angela Hayes,the principal , had decided to give the students and staff the chance, or rather the compulsory order to visit Cirella Stadium to witness the event. After all, Kailen was a student of New Alexandria Academy at the end of the day. They had to support him. Many were not optimistic that Kailen would win the guild war. However , how could they throw away the chance to witness such a good show?.
Ever since he had awakened and the Smallville county video had spread, he had turned into an overnight celebrity at the academy.
Various fan clubs had been formed about him.
Kailen had been absent from school for a while now, so he had no idea how much people's opinion has changed concerning him in the academy. He had become a role model to most students.
Everyone in the academy had generally disdained him in the past, however there were those bullied him at a personal level.These guys had been scared , wishing that he never returned to school.
These students however,had no choice, but to visit the stadium to witness his prowess.And these bullies included his two childhood friends, Stephen and Rio.

The Cirella Stadium was extremely packed to the brim with spectators. Reporters, awakeners, non awakeners, teenagers, adults,children, men ,women.
Defense mechanisms had been activated, acting as a visible yet almost transparent wall between the bleachers where the spectators were located and the battlefield, where the guild war would actually occur. However there was enough space for reporters and streamers to also navigate the exteror of the large battlefield , as they were protected by the visible yet almost transparent defense barrier . This way ,they would be able to take pictures and videos of the battle about to occur without being injured . The safety of the spectators had therefore been ensured. The guild war was between two guilds after all,there was no need to to get spectators caught in the crossfire.
Ginormous HD television screens could be found everywhere in the stadium, about to broadcast the event to the packed crowd, so that they could have a clearer view of the guild war.
The Assurance Guild and the Sobriety Guild leaders ,some higher ups of New Alexandria City awakener's association , along with some cooperation tycoon's in the city occupied special seats atop a couple of platforms.
This was a win win situation for the guild leaders in their opinion.
If Kailen Darkhaven died in this exchange , they would have less competition to handle. If Kailen ,miraculously killed Conrad, they knew that what awaited Kailen was more trouble. That old man behind Conrad would definitely not let the matter rest . He would find a way to secretly end Kailen. In that situation, not only would Kailen Darkhaven's fate be sealed, Conrad would also be dead, leaving their guilds as the only two remaining to compete with one another for the top position.
Though Conrad was a muscle head, there were two reasons why his guild stood at the top of the remaining two in the city.
He was ridiculously strong, and his strength seemed to be almost at the apex of the A ranked.
Not only that, his tutor was an extremely important figure in the country, so only a few people dared to offend him.
His master had gone into seclusion for a few years now, to attempt to make a breakthrough into the S rank, therefore many had subconsciously forgotten about him. Only the other guilds who had been threatened and bullied by Conrad's master on Conrad's behalf had really noticed how terrifying he was.
This was one of the reasons why the two guilds dared to not mess with him openly.
Kailen did not know that Conrad had some sort of backing, but frankly, he wouldn't have cared.
Staring at Kailen from one side of the bleachers with an amused expression in her eyes,Angela Hayes grinned from ear to ear, a malicious glint flashing through her eyes as she stared at Conrad.
" Could have ended this bastard a long time ago, but I chose to call it quits and just cut him off. Already have so much on my plate . However seeing him about to die really puts me at ease. Some showbiz music akin to that of the intro of a talk show graced his descent as he landed atop the commentary podium a few distances away from where the influential people were seated.
However no one looked down on this man, He owned the largest gambling house in the city and was a B ranked awakener . He was extremely loaded. It looked like the awakener's association had hired him to oversee the bets and be the commentator for the match .
" Who do you think is gonna win?"
" Do you even have to ask?"
" This Kailen Darkhaven has just signed his death warrent"

A few moments later, the fat man's entertaining and easy going voice interrupted the gittering of the crowd.
The fat man went ahead to introduce the influential figures of the city who had graced the guild war with their presence . The crowd erupted in cheers as each of these figures were adored by them.
" Now ladies and gentlemen, adults and teenagers, men and women, boys and girls .. ahem.. anyway the moment we've all been waiting for has finally arrived" Everyone's eyes landed on the battlefield as the fat man spoke.
Conrad Ronald had gathered all the high ranked members of guild, all the A ranked awakeners and the B ranked awakeners .
" To our right side of the battlefield is the Boiling Fuse ,and his team. He has managed to mobilise 20 A ranked Archers, 15 B ranked tanks, 12 A ranked healers and 5 A ranked and 3 B ranked assassins ,4 A ranked mages and 3 B ranked swordsmen... This matchup is really crazy. It looks like Guild Master Conrad is not taking his opponent lightly "

The crowd bust into cheers, completely going haywire over the ridiculous manpower Conrad had managed to pull up for this match .

However he seems to be standing in the arena alone with his hands in his pockets. He seems completely unfazed even though it seems like from the team he was able to demonstrate to us a few moments ago at the awakening center, he seems to be clearly at a disadvantage "
The fat man was still speaking when all of a sudden ,Kailen made his decision , he knew he needed to utterly crush the opponents and end them quickly. It seemed although Conrad was a muscle head, he had learnt some tough lessons from underestimating Kailen . However ,he didn't know that he had still underestimated his opponent even with all the preparations he had made.
Kaiken's calm voice rung out on the battlefield as he lept into the air " Vengeful ,Everfrost , come out"
What everyone saw next, caused pin drop silence to reign in the stadium.

These creatures looked terrifying!
They flapped their wings occasionally, The force of each's flap so great that the winds stirred with profound intensity.
Their eyes were dark,deep, and hollow.
Standing atop one of the draconic obsidian creatures was a young man staring at his adversary with a relaxed smile on his face.
Everywhere was silent . The reaction of the crowd would take a couple of minutes to describe, mixed with various expressions , however it all boiled down to one.
Everyone was gobsmacked, shocked!
So shocked that their brains could not process what they were seeing.
Conrad Ronald and his guild members were facing a situation similar to that of the spectators.
They were all experienced awakeners.
However this was extremely out of their league.
They had miscalculated and underestimated their opponent ! . But could they be blamed?.

They stared in the abyss like hollow eyes of the obsidian creatures with primal fear, even the A ranked seemed extremely terrifying, not to mention the S ranked one.
They knew the gap between an S ranked and them. Even with their matchup, it was still impossible. The gap between them and an S ranked was nothing to scoff at after all.
Kailen was not one to waste time with opponents. He didn't care about what they were thinking. He just wanted to get this over with as soon as possible. Trash talk was only necessary when he had to use underhanded methods to lure his opponents into losing their cool, concentration and flow of battle.
However, when he has overpowered strength over the enemy, why waste time?
Before Conrad and team were able to process what they were seeing ,he ordered.
" Vengeful, end them! Everfrost, be on standby,if anyone from the spectators make any uncanny attempt, end them. A man cannot be too careful after all" No one would dare try messing with a guild war. However, when had Kailen not been a calamity magnet. He had to be cautious.

Large balls of sizzling lightning, each one extremely ginormous with a diameter of about 7 meters formed above Vengeful and Kailen, then plummeted like meteors towards Conrad and team. The last emotion that registered in Conrad's eyes was one of regret. He had been the one to first of all offend this monster. Had he kept to himself, all this would have been averted.There would always be someone stronger than you,and just because you were the best now, didn't mean you were bound to remain there forever. However , he had realized it too late.
The meteors of lightning finally landed on their preys in what one would not even count to be up to even a second ,then devoured them.

No screams were heard,no noises were made,no epic battle like the crowd had expected, no remains of clothes,bones,skin,weapons. Everything on the side of the opponents had disappeared from the battlefield and had been replaced with a charred,marred ground with fissures spread throughout the battlefield .
A raw show of dominance,absolute power, might and authority had occured.
Only three figures remained ,two draconic creatures that defied gravity and hovered above the ground, and a young man in a hoodie with his hands clad in his pocket,now patting the draconic head of the creature on whose back he stood.
He treated what had happened as though it was expected. However the environment around him had a striking contrast to the incident.
No one was even able to explode in shock.
What just happened ?
Where did this monster come from?
In a few weeks?
He had gone from a non awakener to being able to demonstrate the strength of an S ranked awakener?
It was already terrifying enough that he had managed to become a B ranked awakener in just a few weeks time. But this? Even if he had to win this battle, did it have to be this easy?
He had just destroyed the Sunset Guild, just like that ?
Many of them had expected Conrad to trash him around and kill him. At the most, Darkhaven would have been able to hold his ground a little bit. However, the situation had played out in an entirely different way, compared to what they were expecting.

It was after his sarcastic statement that hinted at what almost everyone was thinking ,that people were able to compose themselves a little bit and react,despite the root shock they were experiencing .
" Perhaps the premonition I had was even an understatement . The premonition showed Conrad sprawled lifeless with blood spewing from all orifices of his body, but in actual sense ,not even a shred of him and the pillars of his guild are left. This Kailen Darkhaven, his future prospects will be boundless. I can't help but wonder if the premonitions of that person I see in my dreams, the one who will not only save humanity from the threat of the Diabolic beasts, but usher us into a new age are about him . After all ,I started having those visions a few hours before I got the call from the awakener's association about him . That cannot be a coincidence right?"
Whiles Angela was lost in her own thoughts, the crowd had erupted into a frenzy .

Ignoring the chatters Stephen and Rio clenched their fists as regret filled their eyes. The duo had abandoned Kailen at his lowest point because they didn't want to be ostracized alongside him.

" Perhaps we could make it up to him?This is all your fault by the way" Rio muttered , he really hated himself for listening to Stephen's advise to cut off Kailen.

Worst of all, they felt extremely terrified. The young man had no hesitation when killing. He was even smiling in the process. How could a teenager be so savage and brutal .
Just what did he have to go through to get to this point?.

Vengeful soared into the skies,then bolted out of the stadium. The complicated gazes of the onlookers filled with overtones of different emotions traced after Darkhaven and his minion, till he was no longer visible.

His gaze lingered on the stars for a while then he turned towards the figure that floated towards him,another man who bowed to him with respect .
" Have you found anything?" The man in red robes questioned the one in obeisance with authority.

Kailen's video may not have managed to travel extremely wide and far across the continent to other countries on the continent, however the fact that he had managed to make himself known amongst netizens across the country from an extremely small city of Zanpala country with just a single video was an extremely tyrannical feat. Of course, not everyone was a social media person so many still did not know about him .
Also there were people who were more interested in focusing on increasing their strength than watching others who were doing so, so they would not be informed of such matters.
However majority knew of the name Kailen Darkhaven, even if they had not seen him in person or watched the video of the guild war.
At the time, Kailen had just wanted to cement his ruthlessness and no nonsense personality to deter others from messing with him. However ,he had undermined the incredulousness and ridiculousness of what he had achieved.

Kailen stood up from the couch , left the house and entered the new car he had ordered a few days ago. These days one didn't even have to learn how to drive ,if one preferred.
There was an AI program installed that could control the car and direct one to their destination.

The Maple square was a place in the city where the black market was located.
Kailen had done some digging by pulling some strings with money and found out about the location of the black market.
Not everyone could locate the black market because they were really discrete. The black market technically engaged in a lot of illegal activities the federation did not approve of.
Even the movement technique Kailen wanted to purchase was probably obtained by the black market through underhanded methods.
However the federation could not stop the operation of the black market because even the awakeners benefited from it when the need arose. An example was in a situation where someone wanted to buy something at a cheap price and they could not afford purchasing them from the shops of the Awakening centres.
The federation government had to therefore swallow their pride and tolerate the black market's operation . What they didn't permit on the black market was human trafficking and slave trading. However , some merchants still went ahead and engaged in slave trading and human trafficking in secret .
Occasionally ,the Federation Government would find ways of tracking down and eliminating these merchants and use them to set an example for others..
Kailen finally arrived at Maple Square ,then donned on his mask .
He has arrived at his location.

Having parked his car at a convenient spot, Kailen headed inside the bookshop
" Perfect disguise " He mused ,his gaze lingering around for a while.
Individuals moved around, some fetching themselves coffee from the coffee machines ,others visiting various stands ,attempting to make a book picking of their choice.
Others remained seated, completely involved in whatever literature they were attempting to devour.
" As expected of the black market. This place seems like a completely perfect disguise. No one would suspect anything"
Kailen drew some attention to himself, having donned a mask,masking him in people's eyes as some sort of weirdo.
He proceeded to the counter,then whistled " Mistletoe" . The man at the counter nodded at Kailen for getting the codename to be used for entering the black market for the next 4 hours,then took him to a back portion of the shop.
He tapped on some sort of switch, causing the wall or rather,the doorway that had been camouflaged as a wall to open up,revealing an elevator.
Kailen wanted no time, venturing into the elevator, then aided by gravity, the elevator descended with speed .
The man however returned to the front of the shop,donned a usual innocent smile and attended to the avid literary lovers.

Kailen stared at the sight in front of him in shock.
The underground market where he currently stood was extremely large,with shops sprawled around. Gigantic lights hung around the cemented ceiling of the large underground region, aiding visibility.
Unlike the rowdy environment Kailen had expected, the black market was remarkably quiet and serene. " I blame those novels and movies"
Each of the shops had done their advertisements by indicating what they dealt in with an Ad in front of their shop .
Therefore,there was no need for unnecessary shouting to draw the attention of the customers.
If the customers went through the trouble of coming to the black market ,it meant they knew what they wanted and wanted it desperately .
" However why is no one moving in the streets?. Could it be that people don't usually frequent the black market? Or maybe they are in the shops?. That seems more likely"
Kailen noticed a shop that had what he was looking for.
Quickly,the doors of the shop swung open ,revealing a man in hoodie with a menacing mask.
The shop keeper had also donned a mask, however from the person's figure one could tell the shopkeeper was a man.
Kailen had restrained his aura,not drawing any attention to himself, making him look quite ordinary. He had come here to get a movement technique ,not to cause a commotion.

His eyes brushed past some of them for a while till one finally caught his attention .
"Seven phantoms movement techniques? I saw this one whiles browsing through the Awakeners centre's movement techniques online. However it was too expensive "

The shop keeper's pace quickened ,having realized the intrigue in the customer's eyes.

Kailen ignored the system's antic,then nodded at the shopkeeper's words.
He opened the manual and found a set of instructions to practice it , along with a video recording tutorial in it .
Quickly the transactions was completed,then Kailen turned around, and left the shop.
However when Kailen left ,a menacing smirk graced the shop keeper's lips.
A group of individuals with intimidating builds appeared out of nowhere in the shop ,then started smiling coldy ,along with the shopkeeper.

Kailen had already been aware that there were multiple people in the shop,not to purchase something ,however they had evil intentions for being there.
After his experiences in the wilderness,Kailen had decided to always be on the lookout for any signs of attack . Also, Kailen knew firsthand the cruelty of human nature .
He had therefore activated shadow manipulation the moment he stepped into the bookshop till now.
Also due to his high perception as a B ranked awakener , Kailen was able to sense the ominous gazes directed his way.
He had acted like he wasn't aware of any shady deal they were trying to pull off .
It was not advisable to reveal one's identity on the black market after all. The Federation Government could use it as a means to put one on a leash if they had solid evidence about an awakener that he or she had visited the black market.
No matter how strong Kailen was,he wasn't strong enough to go against the Federation Government , therefore,he had to be careful.
Kailen could sense with shadow manipulation that a group of shadows were migrating towards him, and they were not few in number.
" 5 of them" Kailen mused.
He stood rooted in the same spot,awaiting their presence.
Since they had decided to mess with him, he would end them all.
The leader of the bunch was the owner of the shop Kailen had visited earlier.
" Today is your unlucky day young man. There's a day at the black market called robbing day. Any unlucky customer who comes here dies a meaningless death. Although I'm itching to torment you deeply before I kill you , I'll have to tone down my appetite for tonight.I have a date tonight,so I'll reserve the main course for the lucky lady. So just hand over the manual and transfer all your remaining money in addition to it, and I'll give you a quick death.
As you can see we are all A ranked , there's nothing you can possibly do,given our numbers. You seem to have your aura restrained . However I have a good eye, I can tell that you are not even A ranked ,but those eyes yours tell me everything. You seem to possess boundless power,therefore we won't underestimate you."
Kailen stood rooted at the same spot, recalling a rumor he had heard while he dug up information about the black market . There had been occasions where people visited Maple Square and never returned ,however they were regarded as baseless rumors. It seemed it was not a lie.
" So everyone at the black Market is completely in on this with you?" Kailen asked the man.
" We need to let lose once in a while don't we?. You people call us deranged awakeners ,however ,what's wrong with being different and having unusual appetites such as raping,killing ,robbing?. Appetites are appetites , there's no difference between right and wrong . You people have placed a definition on everything and differentiated it to be right or wrong. Just because we are not like you,you call us deranged?"
The leader, licked his lips as a menacing glint flashed his eyes.
"No wonder I couldn't see any people moving around when I came here. It looks like they've all been killed by these lunatics.Those who run the black market are technically deranged awakeners who want to run their own businesses. It's not a surprise they'd behave like this . I suppose they think I'm an easy target to bully because they are all A ranked ." Kailen mused inwardly, then sighed .
" I honestly don't care about your philosophies or how you percieve the world. However you threatened to kill me, and the last person who tried that died a miserable death. I suppose I should drop this charade "
Kailen took off the mask and no longer restrained his aura , as his face was revealed to the assailants.
The man whose shop Kailen had visited stood rooted in shock .
He had been at the Cirella stadium a few days ago. He reckoned this face, Kailen Darkhaven.
The way Kailen Darkhaven had ended the Sunset Guild was still fresh in his mind. Remembering the incident , a chill run down his spine .
" Damn it!. We've messed up big time!" He cursed inwardly.
Quickly the man pressed on some sort of remote in his pocket, causing an alarm to resound throughout the whole black market. His four friends did not know why he was acting strangely all of a sudden,however they trusted him,awaiting his command.
At the sound of the alarm all the doors of the shops swung simultaneously, as each of the shop owners came out,boasting malicious expressions on their faces. They numbered in the 200s. Each one of them knew what the signal meant. It meant that someone was trying to mess with the businessmen of the black market on their turf, that person was extremely dangerous,and they had to join hands to take the individual down.
" Everyone, let's try to buy enough time for the boss to return" Apart from the gentleman whose shop Kailen had entered ,non of them were familiar with him because they had been busy with their own personal matters and had not even paid attention to social media. Only the one whose shop Kailen had even bothered to visit the stadium .
The gentleman before them seemed familiar and boasted a cold relaxed smirk .
However he was only B ranked ?
Why did they all have to join hands to stall for time fighting someone as weak as him till their boss's return ,when a single one of them could take a B ranked awakener down.
However,their questions were answered in the next second .

" Come out Vengeful" Vengeful's form cast a shadow of fear upon the onlookers,it's deafening roar so loud that they felt their ear drums fall apart.
" Shadow manipulation " They saw the towering obsidian wyvern's form shift into a tapestry of ethereal shadows, gravitating towards her master.
Obsidian armor gleamed around Darkhaven's figure ,head to toe .
The merchants of the dark market had just realized what their counterpart had meant by stalling for time for their master's arrival.
However was that not even a pipe dream?.
Stall an S ranked or no, A B ranked radiating the aura of an S ranked at the same time?
The young man before them donned in some dark armor ,radiating the profound power of an S ranked awakener seemed to call unto the shadows again, as an obsidian katana of about two meters in length appeared in his hand.
His figure blurred,then he moved.
Katana and obsidian figure played partner, heads rolled ,blood splurted ,headless bodies fell,sprawled lifelessly on the ground.
He had just crossed a few distances in the blink of an eye,however heads had fallen,about 7 of them.
Adrenaline surges seemed to plummet, anger gave way to fear, as the deranged awakeners turned around and run.
" Trying to run ? . I'll use you all as an excuse to get some money from the Federation Government . Now that I've revealed myself,the best thing to do is to make good use of this situation so that they don't have anything on me .Even they can't turn down the contribution of someone who managed to destroy a branch of the black market" Kailen's obsidian form flashed through the deranged awakeners who now had expressions of fear on their faces.
Wherever he passed heads rolled ,blood splurted ,bodies were sliced into two ,innards spilled out ,the scent of blood lingered and deafening screams of agony remained.
" Launch everything you got at him. We gonna end this bastard or die trying" A hoarse bellow resonated from a grumpy fellow with a menacing scar around his naked chest .
Hie eyes full of fear,conflicted the maddening rage that overtoned his voice.
He slammed the shield he held into the ground,causing tree roots to sprout from the tiled ground, heading towards the sickening obsidian figure.
A blink of an eye ,and the opponent he had targeted had appeared infront of him,no crossed him.
He thought he had been left alive,only to realize his vision had turned hazy. He held his neck,chocked, as blood splurted from the clean cut,then his head slid cleanly from his neck , then with a shocked expression in his eyes, his head rolled on the ground and stopped moving ,accompanied by his headless body.
The same scene repeated itself for several moments.
Every where the obsidian figure passed ,a single motion of Katana and hand was enough to reap a life .
Various screams resonated , survival instincts kicked in, and although the deranged awakeners knew their opponent now hunted them like prey,they reacted on impulse launching their strongest attacks in their arsenals against him.
Various affinities rung out in the environs,flames , ice ,water, lightning, amongst others.
However they were all useless against an insurmountable wall called power.
Kailen reaped one life after another. Seriously he had lost count of how many he had killed.
But he didn't care. Kailen had just one principle , whoever threatened to kill him,even without the intention of executing it,would die .
He was a no nonsense person. In a world where the strong preyed on the weak, the only way to have peace of mind was to build a reputation on countless bones and lives of those who wanted to mess with him. Only then would those with evil intentions concerning you know you are not to be triffled with.
The alarms continued to resound,as more and more deranged awakeners appeared after the other.
However they all met the same end .
A dark silhouette would move like a grim reaper, pushing them through the door to the afterlife.
Kailen's dark figure had turned azure due to the blood of the prey he had been hunting that had splashed on him.
Finally , after period of time ,the screams ceased, and what remained was the stench of blood,permeating the dark market.Blood flowed ceaselessly as the stalls had become collateral damage, some of them having collapsed ,with others having their portions destroyed .
Headless bodies,mutilated bodies , and innards had been spilled all over the ground .
And this was all caused by a seventeen year old.
Kailen remained indifferent to mayhem he had caused. Had time been reversed ,he would have repeated the same act again . These guys wanted to kill him,so he just had to kill them too. It was as simple as that .
He proceeded to stare into the CCTV cameras, then raised the middle finger with a relaxed smirk on his face. Since the data of the events had probably been already transferred to the database of whoever would be viewing the CCTV footage later, he could only make the epilogue of the events more juicy. He had decided to taunt them further.Kailen had theorised that the fellow was likely the boss these guys were most likely stalling for time for .
Wherever he was ,he was fuming with rage right now.
Kailen had two more slots for creating Shadow Creatures remaining.
" A pity I only have two more slots. All these dead bodies going to waste"
" Agglomerate "

Meanwhile a few moments earlier .
The gentleman at the counter of the bookshop had stepped out for some business in another city right after Kailen had left. He had received a notification that some new prostitutes from Valentina,the nation that bordered Zanpala had been shipped for patronage. He was in high spirits , playing some country music for the amount of income that would come to the black market very soon.
He suddenly remembered something,then picked up his phone.
He had the videos of the CCTV footage on his phone .
He decided to check in on how robbery's day was going as he sat back,relaxed in his car.
This was his favorite day on the black market after all.
A fanatic glint full of anticipation filled his eyes.
" Those bastards will let lose anytime soon.
As expected of my boys.
Poor fellow,seemed like a mellow kinda guy. About to be feasted up on,just like that" He kept veiwing the video. The masked guy who had visited the black market earlier was really an unlucky fellow.
He watched the guy get surrounded , about to be slaughtered , then something entirely different happened.
The gentleman turned into a homicidal maniac even for him who had the blood of multiples on his hands, slaughtering his way through the black market.
Also,what was that ginormous creature that had had turned into some armor to surround his body? A dragon?.No a wyvern?... A wyvern?.
Wait.. was that... Kailen Darkhaven!!!
" Damn it"
He kicked the steer of the car with his hands ,causing the car to come to a halt in the middle of the road. His eyes assumed a dangerous deameanor ,radiating serious killing intent.
" That bastard. If it's him,then the black market is gonna get destroyed . Of all the ruthless savages we had to mess with ?" The scene of Kailen destroying Conrad Ronald and his guild without battling an eye was fresh in his mind.
As the owner of the black market in New Alexandria City,he had to be interested in the major happenings of the city. Therefore,he had visited the stadium for the event.
True to his words,a few moments later ,Kailen Darkhaven had slaughtered everyone in the black market.
All the people he had spent time grooming to build his underground empire had died,just like that?.
However what happened next caused him to lose all sense of reason.
Kailen Darkhaven, was giving him the middle finger? And he was grinning?.
The next thing ,caused him to boil with extremely sickening rage.
"That bastard just used his strange affinity to create minions out of my capos!? I'm gonna rip him to shreds for this!!!"
However he calmed down soon. There was a reason why he had been able to run the black market in New Alexandria City under the nose of the Federation government.
Unlike Conrad Ronald,he was not a block head who only thought with his fists.
He had to scheme and get back at Kailen Darkhaven . His opponent could not be underestimated. Perhaps he could join hands with that old man to take Kailen Darkhaven down .
He was sure the old man would readily agree to do so after he came out of seclusion . With that man's breakthrough speed, he would most likely reach the S rank in at least 4 months time..
" I have to hold it in and wait till then . Kailen Darkhaven, I will make sure you pay for this" His phone rung in the next second,snapping him out of his thoughts .
He picked up the call " I'll be there soon, don't sell the prostitutes to any other person . Also,I need to shift locations for a while..... Excellent , that will do"

The doors of the undercover base slowly opened, revealing a large hall akin to an extremely large garage.
About ten individuals in different clothes, a mixture of men and women were busily navigating through a couple of computers. Their eyes were extremely focused, evidenced by the fact that they didn't even notice the arrival of the agent.
Not offended in the least bit by their behavior, as though she were used to it, her soft voice resounded in the atmosphere. ''Any new development?''
The group of agents finally noticed the arrival of Velvet.
One of them, a tall gentleman stood up and sighed ''Nothing yet boss. This is futile''
A dark-skinned lady with a petite physique, probably with roots tied to the Urna continent, chimed in ''No traces of their base, no sign of movements, nothing''
The group stared at the boss, awaiting her response as she was in deep thought.
''It's been 10 years since I moved my team members and I to this small city, however nothing about the Terror Surge Syndicate has been found. Should we just call it quits and head back to the capital?
Was the vision I saw wrong?
Does this organization even exist? Am I going mad?
This mysterious gift or affinity or whatever of mine may not always be 100 percent accurate but it's always on point.
Just what do we do? ''
Agent Velvet recalled what she had seen in her sleep 10 years ago clearly.
''The Terror Surge Syndicate- New Alexandria City'' This was all she had seen, no clues, nothing else.
However, she moved her team here quickly because she could not underestimate her visions, because the first time she did that....
''Never mind, that's a memory I don't like to recall. The more reason why we cannot give up'' She snapped out of her thoughts, then turned to look at her subordinates.
''Continue to search''
The group nodded, resuming their work.
However just when she was about to step out of the base, one of the subordinates, a gentleman, called out to her.
''Boss, you have to see this''
Agent Velvet turned around with intrigue, then moved a few steps towards the gentleman.
The gentleman motioned for her to look at the computer screen then voiced '' Just came across this. The black market-''
''I can see it clearly agent'' Agent Velvet had an amused expression on her face.
''Smart, ruthless, domineering'' She mused.
''He probably figured that even if he had decided to go all out with the mask on, the FLEA would connect the dots of the identity behind the mask to him, as his affinity is pretty much well known by the public by now, he therefore used the opportunity to destroy the black market.
That way, when questioned by the Federation Law Enforcement Agency, he would be able to give an excuse that the reason why he visited the black market was to destroy the black market'' The gentlemen guessed correctly.
''Mmm'' Agent Velvet nodded. This Kailen Darkhaven was always causing an uproar wherever he went, and he never kept surprising her.
" Pfttttt.... Hahahahahahahaa...oh my gosh..."
A clap associated with laughter resounded in the large hall, causing the other team members to surround the computer in intrigue. Whatever was making their team leader laugh, they could use it too. After all, today had been quite stressful, they could use some stress relief.
Kailen Darkhaven was raising the middle the middle finger in the video .
" I'm sure the owner of the black market is fuming right now "
" To think he would destroy the black market."
" No wonder team leader has taken a liking to him"
" The team leader likes people who have a knack for causing commotion. It's only normal "
Agent Velvet finally calmed down,ignoring the varying responses from her teammates as her expression grew distant .
Only she knew what she was thinking .
After a few seconds , she turned around ,bid them goodbye and left .

Kailen stood before the law enforcement agency.
It was time to get his reward for his "citizen's duty" .He entered the law enforcement agency, igniting an uproar from the staff members. It was obviously due to his fame. Many wanted to meet him for some sort of autograph obviously due to the drama he had pulled off previously at Cirella stadium.
However his cold look deterred them from their actions. Kailen proceeded to one individual who stuttered at seeing him. The guy obviously felt shocked at seeing a bigshot. However, Kailen's question snapped him out of his shocked state.
''Excuse me, I'm here to see whoever's in charge''
Before the young man however responded, a bearded man with fierce eyes came out of the elevator at the other end of the wall.
''Pleasure to meet you, Sir!'' The man greeted Kailen with confidence, however he seemed a little anxious.
He was just an A ranked awakener, however Kailen was an S ranked, technically.
Kailen did not mince with words, he nodded politely at the man then responded
''Pleasure to meet you officer'' He quickly followed the man into a room, where he took a seat on exquisite furniture. expression calm and cold.
The officer knowing Kailen was not in the mood to exchange any more pleasantries quickly cut straight to the point "Thank you for what you did at the black-market sir. Here's a compensation for all the trouble you had to experience, a sum of about 500, 000 federation dollars''
'Smart man. If only we had more like him, makes life easier. What do they say, a rich man talks more with money and less with his mouth...?'
[tsk, what are you using all this money for host. Don't you already have enough?]
'Do humans grow tired of breathing?'
[Tsk. You've grown horns haven't you, learning to talk back at me. tsk. However ,offend me again and I will show you the gap between the heavens and the earth. Tsk!]
Kailen ignored the system, checked the notification of the amount of money he had just received, stood up and left the law enforcement agency.
" What a terrifying young man" The man was trying all he could to maintain his composure before the young man who had just left.
" To think a seventeen year old would be this dangerous and powerful. His future prospects will be boundless. It's a pity some of us just have A ranked talent,else perhaps we could have fought side by side with him in future. The gap between an S ranked and A ranked is very wide after all. Eagles don't meddle with chickens after all "
He sighed ,then turned around and brewed a coffee .

" What is she doing here ?"
Kailen mused inwardly.
Standing in front of his car was a woman with black hair and an exquisite figure,radiating a mature yet playful aura . The principal of New Alexandria Academy
" Yo man. Been a while you came to school."
Angela Hayes stood with her back resting on Kailen's car. She scanned the car for a few seconds then glanced back at Kailen " Nice ride you got there "
Kailen didn't know what this woman wanted with him. She was just talking to him for the first time and wanted to act like she was close to him?
She was technically a principal at the school where he had spent literally the past two years of his life getting ridiculed and bullied. All those years,she had not noticed the abuse that he, a student of her academy had experienced. However now that he had become some famous person,she wanted to act all friendly towards him?
Kailen gave the woman the cold shoulder,ignoring her attempt at starting a friendly conversation.
" Kindly move" He wanted to quickly drive home and just relax. This woman has just soured his mood. He hated everything and everyone that was related to New Alexandria Academy .
He didn't want to have anything to do with the academy ever again.
Aside the fact the current him didn't need to rely on the academy for anything and therefore there was no need for him to be there, his memories in the academy for these past two years had been really unpleasant.
" Just hear what I'm about to say first okay. I'm not here to tell you to come back to academy or tell you to come give some speech to motivate the other students or even tell you to participate in the college entrance exams ,if you will, in the academy's name"
' Then why is she here?' Kailen mused inwardly.
" Why then are you here?" Kailen replied coldly.
" How would you like to join a secret operation launched by the special ops department of the - "
" Not interested ,don't care ,don't give a damn"

Kailen was extremely shocked at the system's words. However he had relied on the system to come this far,so in a way he trusted the system.
" I'm listening". Angela was surprised at the young man's sudden change of mind, however she decided to speak.
