STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC275: The Return
Chapter 275: The Return
"Those bastards destroyed our fucking city! The only way they're leaving this place is in a fucking body bag!"
The dragonborn all grew furious once they heard Agiel's words, and the dragons responded to their riders' emotions and began raising their wings as they prepared for a battle! Agiel and Luthor both unleashed their mana as well, and Fredrica cursed as she discreetly grabbed her phone and prepared to make a call to Cersai! It was obvious that the Commanders weren't going to listen to reason, so they might need to forget about the negotiations and move straight into Plan B! But in the midst of the high mana output, a figure suddenly burst out from the shadow behind the Gaia agent and grabbed Riyala before diving back into the shadows and bolting!
Woosh!
Alpha had been waiting for a perfect moment to get close to Riyala all this time. Even though she was in the shadows, Alpha knew that the superhumans could still notice her mana anytime she got close to them. That was why Alpha couldn't grab Riyala when she was in the helicopter or before they got into this dome. Fredrica might only be a field agent, but she was still a superhuman, and Alpha was sure that she would notice the moment Alpha got too close. But the moment all those superhumans released their mana at the same time, Fredrica's senses were overloaded, and that meant that Alpha could get close without worrying about them picking up her mana signature!
Alpha had grabbed Riyala so quickly that most normal people wouldn't have even known that she moved at all! In one moment, Riyala had been standing there, and in the next moment, a black figure grabbed her and vanished! But most of the superhumans here were in the S Rank, so they were all able to see the movement easily! Grinot's eyes widened in shock as he saw Riyala being taken into the shadows by a strange woman, and in the next moment, everyone moved!
ROARRRR!
The dragons roared as they took off after the moving shadow, and Grinot shouted in anger as he dashed towards Luthor for an attack! Luthor brought up his sword quickly and blocked it! Agiel charged to the side and slammed into one of the dragons that was chasing after the shadow, and the dragon turned to her with a loud roar as it unleashed a fire breath straight at her! Agiel put her hand out with a grunt and activated her Gift to counter the flames, and the other dragons passed the two of them and continued chasing after the shadow! Alpha was moving quickly, but she cursed when one of the dragons slammed into the spot where she was! Alpha didn't stand a chance against these dragons since she was far weaker than them, so they were able to follow her movements easily!
The Shadow-based Arcane Art was a very powerful type of magic that would give its wielder a massive advantage in any battle, but that didn't mean that it was invincible. Even though the user was hiding in the shadow, that didn't immediately mean that nothing could harm the user at all! Firstly, anyone in the shadow could still be noticed by those outside the shadows, so it was easy to track the shadow-user's movement! But another issue was the fact that disturbing or erasing the shadow a shadow-user is moving through will immediately make the shadow-user come back into the real world! That was how Jason managed to trap all the Phantoms in the real world when he attacked them earlier.
So the moment one of the dragons unleashed a massive wave of fire towards where Alpha and Riyala were, Alpha didn't have any choice but to jump out from the shadow and back into the real world, and Riyala's eyes widened when she saw the fire heading for them! Riyala put her cuffed hand out towards the dragon's breath, and she released her own magic to create a wall of fire that would block the dragon's breath, but her magic was nothing compared to the dragonbreath, so it was easily eliminated by the stronger flames! A hand suddenly grabbed Riyala and pulled her closer, and Riyala felt her breath leave her as the person easily slapped the dragon's flames away! Riyala looked up quickly to see who had helped her, and she was shocked when she saw Jason staring calmly towards the dragon! Jason had switched places with Alpha immediately Azrael finished gathering his subordinates in the other world. Jason had been watching what was happening here on earth using the [Eye of the King], and saying that Jason was pissed would be an understatement! Jason was going to deal with Gaia and Cersai later, but first, Jason was going to kill these Radagan bastards!
Jason landed on top of a building while holding Riyala close, and the dragons released loud roars as they came forward to attack him! Jason immediately called out!
"Ragnar!"
ROARRRR!
A louder roar echoed through the city as Ragnar appeared in the air above Jason! The Radagan dragons looked up in shock when they heard the roar of one of their own! Ragnar looked just like the Radagan dragons since he was one of them, so the dragons and their riders didn't know how to react for the first few seconds! But once they saw Ragnar charging up a dragon's breath, they were immediately on the defensive as they began charging up their own attack! Three dragons unleashed fire towards Ragnar at the same time, and Ragnar pulled back and released his own attack!
TWOOM!
Ragnar's dragon breath tore through the sky like a missile and immediately eliminated all the flames from the other dragons! Ragnar's attack tore a straight line through the air as it continued forward before it slammed into one of the three dragons and tore its wing off! The dragon cried out as it began falling to the ground, and Ragnar charged forward to confront the other dragons! The dragons were strong enough to be regarded as high-level S Ranks on Earth, but Ragnar was a Rank III Rook in Jason's Legion, and that meant he was on the same level as a high-level SS Rank! Ragnar was larger, stronger, and more ferocious in every way, so once he grabbed hold of one of the dragons, he didn't waste any time as he bit into the dragon's wings and dragged it to the ground!
BOOM!
Jason watched Ragnar beating the shit out of the dragon for a few seconds before he called on more members of his Legion. Azrael appeared on a tall building a few miles away from Jason, and Jason commanded it to take out the dragon that was battling Agiel. Azrael put its hand in the air and called on its Necrosis magic, and a wide purple circle formed over the sky and began to rotate as an S Rank lightning spell came to life! The lightning flew straight for the dragon, and it was only the dragon rider's sharp instincts that allowed him to move his dragon out of the way so he didn't get hit directly! The lightning tore into one of the dragon's wings, and it let out a cry as the area touched by lightning began to disintegrate and wither to dust! Large holes appeared in the dragon's wings, and this prevented it from being able to move properly and gave Agiel the opening she needed to land a perfect punch on the dragon rider's face!
SLAM!
Agiel was about to continue attacking, but she had to stop when a large wolf appeared from the side and tackled the dragonrider! Agiel recognized the wolf as the same one that attacked her when she was fighting Keith, and she immediately knew that this was the work of Jason!
More and more of Jason's subordinates began to appear in the city as Jason called on them! The Sky King let out a cry as it led ten falcons against one of the dragons with Lupin and other spidermonkeys riding on their back! The Falcons all unleashed their feathers in a hit-and-run tactic against the dragons, and the spidermonkeys jumped down from the Falcons' backs and latched onto the dragons and their riders to force them to the ground! This distracted the dragons long enough for Raya to come in and tackle one of them to the ground using [Linear Charge]! Ragnar let out a massive dragon breath that slammed into the dragon, and the dragon didn't stand a chance as it was immediately killed by the attack!
BOOOOM!!!
Jason put his hand out as Ragnar turned its attention to another dragon and Jason called out with authority.

The Radagan soldiers all felt fear pass through their hearts once they saw Jason's new subordinate turn its head towards its former rider and let out a massive roar in agitation, and the rider immediately knew that this was no longer his dragon! What sort of society could allow someone to do this!? This was dark magic! Jason could almost see the moment when the Radagan soldiers decided that they were going to retreat! No one would want to fight against a mage that could turn your own allies against you! But Jason's Legion refused to let them go, and they increased the ferocity of their attacks to make sure none of the dragons could get away!
"Jason... I'm so sorry. I led them here, and they destroyed your city. This is all my fault."
Beside Jason, Riyala put her hands over her face as she felt tears coming to her eyes. She didn't know if there was anything she could say or do to make things better! All this destruction and death were just because she came here! But Jason just took her by the hands, and he easily broke the handcuffs that were still on her wrists. Riyala looked up at Jason, and Jason smiled at her calmly as he spoke.
"I already told you that you don't need to apologise for anything. We decided to help you because you're our friend, and that's all that matters. Besides, you didn't tell them to do any of this. They chose to destroy this city all on their own, and I'll make sure they pay for what they've done."
Riyala looked up at Jason in surprise, and she felt heat rising on her cheeks when he smiled at her. At that moment, Riyala didn't know what she must've done to deserve meeting someone like Jason! If Riyala hadn't stumbled into that Orange Gate and met Jason, then she would've regretted it for the rest of her life! Riyala was about to say something, but a voice spoke up from behind her, and Riyala's entire body locked up in shock when she heard it.
"Jason is right, Riyala. None of this is your fault. You should really stop trying to put the weight of the entire world on your shoulders all the time."
Riyala turned around very sharply once she heard the familiar voice! The person was speaking in the Radagan tongue, but Riyala knew who that voice belonged to! There was no way she could forget! But from what Riyala remembered, there was no way that person should know how to speak her tongue! Riyala's face was set in a look of absolute disbelief, and there was a small part of her heart that prayed to every god she knew that she hadn't just been hearing things! But the moment her eyes landed on Gina's smiling face, Riyala felt a heavy sob escape from her as she began to cry even harder! Gina was wearing Jason's long coat, and the black coat clashed with her red hair in a way that made her look absolutely breathtaking! Riyala moved towards Gina quickly and grabbed her in a tight hug, and Gina stumbled back slightly before she smiled in understanding and held Riyala close.
"I'm so sorry, Gina! I couldn't do anything at all! I just watched you die! I was so useless!"
Riyala was apologizing in between heavy sobs, and Gina just patted her back calmly as she allowed her to let it all out. Gina knew that Riyala blamed herself for what happened, so she already expected a reaction like this. Gina eventually pulled back, and she gently cleaned Riyala's tears with her thumbs while giving her a reassuring smile.
"You don't need to apologise, Riyala. Jason is right, none of this is your fault."
Riyala sniffled as she stared at the ground.
"Yes, it is. The phantoms and the soldiers! They all came here because of me. If I didn't come here then—"
"If you didn't come here, then you would be dead and your world would be doomed. No need for all that nonsense, Riyala. You didn't tell the soldiers to come here and destroy the city, so why should you blame yourself? You're our friend, and this is what friends do for one another. You have nothing to apologise for."
Gina looked into Riyala's eyes with absolute seriousness so that Riyala could tell that she was speaking from her heart, and Riyala nodded with a heavy sob before she hugged Gina tightly once again! Gina petted Riyala's hair softly, and Jason smiled at them before he turned his attention back to the fight.
Ragnar and the new dragon subordinate joined forces and turned their dragon breath towards the other dragons in the city! The dragon riders began to lead the dragons into the air so that they could run away, but Azrael was still standing high up on a building, and it used its magic to summon more lightning from a large magic circle that tore through the dragons! Jason commanded Azrael to take control of the body of the dead dragon, and Azrael quickly sent mana out to resurrect the dead body! One of the dragon riders tried to hide inside a building, but Ragnar slammed his tail into the building and brought the entire thing down onto the man! The soldier pulled himself out from the rubble with a pained grunt, but the moment he surfaced, he was met with dragon breath from Ragnar!
BOOM!

Jason watched as the other dragons and dragon riders were being chased down by his subordinates, and Jason told the superhuman and spider-monkey subordinates in his Legion to go and search through the city for anyone who needed medical attention or healing. Most of the city had been evacuated earlier by the SMD, but that didn't mean they managed to get everyone out before the attacks began, and there would also be a lot of superhumans who needed aid, so it was better to take care of it now. The subordinates went to do as they were told, and Jason continued watching them calmly.
At the side, Gina and Riyala were still talking quietly. Gina looked over at Jason to make sure that he wasn't paying any attention to her before she came close to Riyala and spoke in a low voice.
"I noticed how you were looking at Jason earlier. You fell in love with him, didn't you?"
Riyala's eyes widened in shock, and she took a step back when she heard Gina's words! There was a calmness in Gina's tone that felt very dangerous, and when Riyala looked up, she was shocked to see that Gina was giving her a hard look. If there was one thing that no one could ever trick, it was a woman's intuition, and in the short interaction Gina had seen between Jason and Riyala, Gina was already certain that something had happened when she was not around. Gina trusted Jason with her life, and she knew Jason loved her, so Jason wouldn't go behind her back to be with someone else. That was just not the type of person Jason was. So Gina was certain that Riyala was the only one who had these feelings.
Riyala had fallen in love with Jason, and in truth, Gina wasn't surprised.

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC277: Delegating Tasks
Chapter 277: Delegating Tasks
In truth, Gina wasn't surprised. Gina knew better than anyone just how desirable Jason was to most women. Even before he became a superhuman and gained so much power, Jason had always had a strange effect on the women around him that made them fall for him easily! The best example of this was the first time Gina met Jason's school Principal, Miss Harold. Gina expected the woman to be professional and strict, just like every other school principal, but Gina was shocked when she saw Miss Harold giving Jason a look that Gina had seen on the faces of many women before! Jason was only seventeen back then, but he had somehow managed to catch the eye of his principal! Gina was absolutely shocked when she realised what was happening, but she couldn't help but be impressed by Jason's charm! That was one of the reasons why Gina had worked so hard to make sure she claimed Jason as her own as quickly as possible! Gina knew that if she wasted any time, then someone else would definitely try to take Jason away from her! That was why Gina wasn't surprised that Riyala had also fallen for Jason.
Riyala couldn't even look Gina in the eye, and she stared down at the ground in fear. Riyala already felt guilty for having these feelings when Jason was trying to find a way to bring Gina back to life, but Riyala was willing to bury them because she didn't want to come between Jason and Gina. But what the hell was she supposed to do now that Gina had already figured it out!? It didn't even take five minutes for her secret to be exposed! Riyala had no idea what Gina would do to her, and Gina could see the genuine fear that had come over Riyala's entire body. Gina finally sighed and spoke calmly into Riyala's ear.
"Relax, I'm not mad at you. We'll talk about this later, okay?"
Riyala swallowed in slight fear before she nodded quickly. A hand landed on her shoulder, and Riyala looked up to see Gina smiling at her again. Gina pulled her into a hug and spoke gratefully.
"Thank you for being there for him when I couldn't. I know how hard he was working to save me, so it really means a lot to me that he didn't have to be alone."
Riyala was surprised by Gina's hug, but she eventually smiled and hugged Gina back. Riyala knew that there would be a very tense conversation in the future about what happened when Gina wasn't here, but for now, Riyala decided that she would simply appreciate the fact that Gina was back. Riyala told Gina that it was fine. Jason helped her when she was at her lowest, so she couldn't just leave him when he needed her, and Gina finally pulled back and nodded.
Jason had been busy making sure his subordinates surrounded the dragons to prevent them from retreating, but he turned when he heard Gina call on her pawn rank subordinates, and they appeared from his Alternate Dimension. Jason had given Gina ten subordinates earlier, and most of them were Iron-Bladed Falcons since they were a perfect match for Gina's wind-based gift. The other subordinates were Pawn Rank III Adamantine Ants, but Gina had also taken a liking to the Skyking and its fiery personality, so Jason commanded the Skyking to obey her commands whenever she called on it.
'I'm going to help Azrael, babe. Remember you just got out of a fight, so your stamina is still recovering. Try not to push yourself too far.'
Gina's voice echoed through Jason's mind, and Jason felt a strange mixture of anxiousness and pride at the same time. Jason was happy that Gina wanted to fight, and he didn't have any problems with it since it would help her grow stronger, but Jason couldn't help the feeling of anxiety that filled him at that moment. Jason had just gotten Gina back, so it didn't feel right to see her go into a battlefield again. But Gina was a Rook Class subordinate now, and that meant she was on the same level as an A-Class superhuman. Even though she wasn't a match for the dragons or the dragonriders since they were S-Ranks, she would be fine as long as she had her other subordinates supporting her. Jason let out a calm breath and shook his head to get rid of those thoughts before smiling at Gina.
'Just be careful out there. Hey, you, make sure you keep an eye on her, alright?'
Jason said the last part to the Skyking, and the Skyking let out a prideful cry in understanding while flapping its wings! Gina rolled her eyes at Jason's overprotectiveness, but the happy smile on her face showed that she loved it. Gina told Jason not to worry too much, and her eyes narrowed as she commanded her subordinates to take off! Twenty Falcons and Adamantine Ants jumped off the building, and they headed straight for one of the dragons that was being attacked by Azrael! Jason turned to the side as he heard Riyala speak up.
"Is Gina going to fight as well? Didn't she just wake up? She should be resting!"
Riyala was obviously shocked by Gnia's actions, but Jason just shrugged with a small smile. If there was one thing that Jason knew about Gina, it was that she hated feeling useless. Gina dropped out of school and started working as a superhuman so she could be useful to her parents, and she worked really hard at her job so she could be useful to her guild. Now that Gina had enough power to help Jason in fights, Jason wouldn't stop her from helping him. Gina could do whatever she wanted as long as she was careful.
"She'll be fine. She's used to being on the battlefield, so she knows how far she can push herself. I need you to do something for me. My subordinates found some injured superhumans, so I need you to go heal them. Do you still have the artefacts that I gave you?"
Riyala nodded quickly as she touched the [Radagan Sundrop] and other artefacts that she was still wearing. Riyala's coat covered the artefacts properly, so neither the Gaia agents nor the dragonriders had noticed them. Riyala was glad that Jason was giving her something to help him with as well since she had been nothing but a burden all this time. She really wanted to do her part in trying to fix what her people had done! Riyala checked her mana reserves, and she nodded in satisfaction when she saw that she was filled to the brim with mana! She was going to use every last drop to heal anyone who was hurt!
Jason smiled as he shifted his attention towards the Santos Twins who were rounding up all the injured superhumans they could find. There were well over a hundred people stuck in the city, and unfortunately, about fifteen of them had died. The dragon attacks injured a lot of them, and even though there were superhuman healers trying to help them, they were already running low on mana. When Jason's subordinates first appeared to help, the superhumans looked a bit terrified of them, but Liam recognized the twins, and he vouched that they could be trusted. Jason called on one of the twins, and Rosa quickly moved through the shadow and appeared beside Jason with her head bowed. Jason commanded her to take Riyala to where the injured were being kept and make sure that Riyala was protected as she healed the superhumans, and Rosa nodded in understanding.

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC278: The Captain of The Fifth Regiment!
Chapter 278: The Captain of The Fifth Regiment!
Jason watched as Rosa took Riyala, and they both fell into the shadows. Once they were gone, Jason turned back to the fight, and he watched as some Iron Bladed Falcons created a distraction that allowed Gina to fire a wind-arrow into the eye of one of the dragons! The dragon recoiled from the attack, and that gave Azrael the opening to fire another blast of lightning towards the dragon's wings to send it to the ground! Gina held on tighter as the Skyking performed a spinning manoeuvre in the air that allowed them to avoid an attack from one of the dragonriders! Gina looked behind her, and she grinned when she saw that some of her subordinates were coming from behind the dragonrider!
Gina told the Falcons to provide enough of a distraction, and the Falcons began flying past the dragonrider at high speeds! The dragon rider was falling through the air since his dragon was already gone, but he was still able to stabilize himself, and he swung his sword around him expertly as he tried to get the Falcons away from him! This particular dragonrider was only an A Rank, so he wasn't as strong as some of the monsters in Jason's Legion. But he was still a trained soldier, so he possessed enough skill and intelligence to attack the monsters in a way that would cause them the most damage! The dragonrider activated [Blazing Embers] and his sword erupted in fire as he grabbed hold of one of the Falcons and stabbed it in the neck! The dragonrider expected to see blood spraying, but he was shocked when the Falcon simply vanished from his hands!
'What sort of sorcery is this!?'
The dragonrider was shocked to the core, but he didn't have time to analyze what had just happened as another Falcon slammed into him from the sky and forced him up into the air! The dragonrider spun around uncontrollably, and he held his sword tighter as he tried to get his feet back under him! He needed to get to the ground so he would have a stable foundation for his sword arts!
WOOSH!
The dragonrider heard the unmistakable sound of a projectile heading for him and he cursed since he knew that there was no way for him to defend in his current position! The dragon rider brought his hands up to try and protect his head, and he let out a shout as Gina's wind arrow slammed into his back! More and more wind arrows followed the first one and continued to slam into him in a continuous volley and Gina relentlessly released more attacks as she pushed her magic to the very limit! Gina wanted to find out just how much stronger she had become! When she was only a C rank, Gina was capable of creating five arrows at the same time, and each one of them could move fast enough to tear through metal! But now that she was strong enough to be regarded as an A rank, her powers had also increased by leaps and bounds!
Gina created twenty-five arrows around her and sent them forward to slam into the dragonrider! The man slammed into the ground from the force as the arrows continued striking him and Gina created even more arrows that flew forward like a Gatling gun! The dradongirder couldn't put up a defence because Gina wasn't giving him any opening, and after a while, his body went limp as he just lay on the ground. Gina stopped after she was sure that he wasn't going to get back up, and she sent one of the Falcons to see if he was still alive. The Iron Bladed Falcons went down and poked the dragonrider in the head with its beak, and after making sure that he was dead, the falcon flew off again. Gina looked at her hand as she let out a breath of exertion. Gina had fired close to two hundred arrows just then, and each of them was stronger than anything she had ever made before. With this much power, Gina knew that she could fight the boss of an Orange Gate all on her own!
'What in the world did Jason do to me? My mana hasn't even gone below fifty percent.'
Gina felt a strange smile spreading on her lips when she realized how much more powerful she was, and she knew that she had every opportunity to get even more powerful in the future. Gina turned her attention towards another dragon that was still struggling against Azrael and she narrowed her eyes as she commanded the subordinates to attack! The Skyking let out a cry as it charged forward, and Jason felt a small grin appear on his face when he felt Gina's excitement through their mental link. Gina didn't show it often, but Jason could tell that she really enjoyed fighting a lot! She was like a fucking Amazon!

Jason shook his head as he got a new notification from the system They had already killed two dragons and three dragonriders, but the battle was still not over. Down on the ground, Fenrir and Azrael were tag-teaming a dragon that was doing everything in its power to get away! The dragon was trying desperately to make its way to the Yellow Gate so it could escape, but Gina appeared from the side and attacked its wings with wind-arrows so it couldn't fly away! The dragonrider on the dragon's back activated [Blazing Embers] and tried to help its partner, but he was body-slammed by Fenrir and he screamed as Fenrir grabbed him by the feet and both of them began free-falling to the ground!
The last dragon and its rider were up in the air, and they were dodging Ragnar and two other dragons with professional ease! Jason's newest subordinate and the corpse that Azrael had brought back to life were attacking at the same time, but the dragon tucked its wings in and performed a manoeuvre that allowed it to dodge both dragon-breath attacks at the same time! The dragon spread its wings and dodged to the side as Ragnar tried to take a bite out of its tail, and the dragon's rider sneered as he moved his dragon to perform a dive! The rider was Grinot, the leader of the regiment that came to Earth, and there was a deep-seated anger inside him that threatened to drive him mad!
They had been so close to achieving their goal! If they had just gotten their hands on Riyala, then they would have left! But these humans dared to attack them like this!? These pests dared to challenge the might of Radagan!? Grinot's eyes landed on Jason, and his anger increased to an entirely new level! That was the bastard who took his victory away from him! The Radagan soldiers were proud beings who saw any form of failure as a stain on their honor, and Jason's involvement in this battle was the largest stain that Grinot had ever received! Grinot immediately drew his sword, and he screamed as he commanded his dragon to dive towards Jason!
"I AM GRINOT DRAGOON! CAPTAIN OF THE FIFTH REGIMENT OF JARAHT! FIGHT ME, YOU DEMON!"
Grinot's dragon roared in agitation as it headed straight for Jason, and Jason just looked at them with the same calm expression on his face! Ragnar unleashed a blast to try to take Grinot out from the air, but Grinot's dragon was able to dodge out of the way just in time! It swerved to the side and avoided another blast from a second dragon, and Grinot let out an animalistic roar as he commanded his dragon to fire at Jason!

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC279: You Don't Want Any Problems, Trust Me.
Chapter 279: You Don't Want Any Problems, Trust Me.
ROARRRR!
The dragon released its flames towards Jason as it continued diving down, and Jason felt a strange amusement rising from his chest as he covered his hands in the metallic silver of the [Exoskeletal Armor] and put it in front of him! The dragon's flames slammed into Jason's hand with impossible force, and it continued to wash over Jason until the dragon divebombed into the building he was standing on!
BOOM!
The entire building crumbled from the force of the impact, and a large dust cloud rose into the air as the building came down. Gina turned away from her own battle when she noticed that Jason had been attacked, and she quickly called out through their link!
'Jason, are you alright!?'
For a moment, there was no response from Jason, and Gina felt genuine fear fill her heart, but then a calm hum came from the mental link as Jason responded.
'Yeah, I'm fine. Just focus on your fight, babe.'
Gina let out a sigh of relief when she heard Jason's answer, and she turned and commanded her subordinates to charge forward again. The dust cloud around Jason slowly cleared up, and it showed Jason standing on the body of a dead dragon. Jason had stabbed his hand through the dragon's head and killed it in one attack and Jason's blood-stained hand was currently wrapped around Grinot's neck as he lifted him off the ground! Grinot glared down at Jason in anger as he tried to strike him with his sword, but Jason easily caught the arm and twisted the sword out of his grip! Jason's hand began to tighten around Grinot's neck and Grinot let out a grunt of pain as he tried to kick himself away from Jason! But Grinot was only an S rank, so there was nothing he could do against an SS rank like Jason! Jason's eyes were set in a completely expressionless look as his hand continued to tighten, but a voice suddenly spoke from behind him.
"Wait, don't kill him. I believe he is the leader of the attackers. He needs to answer for his crimes."
Jason turned around calmly to see who had spoken, and he raised a brow when he saw a male Enforcer that he didn't recognize. The man was wearing an outfit that was similar to the one Jason had seen on Agiel back in the SMD building, and Jason could only guess that he was a commander. The Enforcer was holding twin swords that were glowing red with heat, and he gave Grinot a hard look before looking back at Jason while saying,
"That man needs to explain why he came here and destroyed our city unprovoked. He cannot die until he gives us the answers we want."
Luthor had been trying to understand the motive of these attackers since their fight started, but he hadn't been able to because they spoke different languages. But now that there was a way for Luthor to understand them, Luthor wanted to know what the hell they had come here for! Unlike the Magis Beasts that were no different from wild animals, these attackers were obviously intelligent beings, so there was no way they attacked this city for no reason! Luthor was talking in a calm, sensible manner, but Luthor couldn't deny that he also wanted to stab his sword right into Grinot's heart!
Luthor felt his hands tighten around his swords, and he had to force himself to calm down! He wasn't the sort of person who would ever allow his emotions to get the better of him like this. As a former soldier, Luthor was already used to seeing the horrors of war, and he shouldn't allow his emotions to run wild! But Luthor couldn't stop the anger that was rising from his heart as he looked at Grinot! An attack of this scale and the amount of destruction done here would set this city back for years and cost the citizens billions of dollars! It would take a miracle for many of them to ever recover! Luthor wanted Grinot dead, but there was no way Luthor would allow the mastermind to be killed before he found out why they came here!
Jason hummed after hearing what Luthor had to say. Luthor's reason for wanting Grinot to live was sensible, and if Jason had been anyone else, then he would have agreed to do as Luthor said. But Jason didn't need someone to be alive before he could find out everything that they were hiding from him. As far as Jason was concerned, this bastard was more useful to him dead than alive!
Jason reached up and grabbed Grinot's head, and Luthor's eyes widened in shock as Jason ripped the head off the body in one smooth move! Blood sprayed out from Grinot's body like a geyser, and Jason calmly allowed the body to fall at his feet with a 'thud'.

Luthor let out a low growl before he pointed his sword at Jason!
"I demand a reason for this! And if I do not like what I hear, then you and I will have problems!"
Jason glanced back at Luthor with a curious gaze while calmly flicking the extra blood off his hands, and Jason almost felt like laughing in that moment! Problems? Did Luthor really think he would survive having a problem with Jason? Jason's gaze grew heavier the longer it stayed on Luthor, and Luthor felt a shiver go through his body after a few seconds. But Luthor was not a coward who would cower before anyone. Even though Jason was obviously stronger than him, Luthor stood his ground and waited for a proper explanation for killing Grinot! Jason took up Grinot's sword, and he looked it over with a critical eye as he spoke to Luthor.
"You don't need to speak to him to understand what they're doing here. I can tell you that right now. That Yellow Gate over there is a pathway to another world called Radagan. That world is in the middle of a civil war right now, and their tyrant leader sent these soldiers here to find the former princess of their kingdom so he can end the royal bloodline once and for all and become the new king."
Luthor blinked, and then he blinked again before his face suddenly squeezed into a look of absolute disbelief! What the actual fuck was Jason talking about? Luthor had heard a lot of outlandish things in his life but that entire statement from Jason had to be the craziest thing that Luthor had ever heard! Another world? A tyrant leader? A princess? It sounded like something fictional and completely made up, and for a long moment, Luthor looked like he wasn't going to believe it. But then Luthor looked around him at all the dragons and monsters that were fighting with magic and superhuman powers, and he decided that maybe something like this wasn't the most outlandish thing he had ever heard. But it was still hard to believe it.
"Do you have any proof of this claim?"
Jason shrugged as his [Appraisal] brought up a description for the sword. It was an S-rank artefact that had a similar design to the [Common Dragonsteel Sword], but this one was named the [High Dragonsteel Sword]. It didn't have any added properties or effects, and the only advantage it had over the [Common Dragonsteel Sword] was the fact that it was stronger. Jason gave a few practiced swings with the sword before nodding in satisfaction. This would have to do until Jason managed to bind the [Death's Mirage] to himself later! Jason finally turned to Luthor and said,
"I was the one who told Liam about the Yellow Gate and made him gather the superhumans that fought here today, so I'm going to tell you the same thing that I told him. You have no assurances other than my word. It's up to you if you want to believe it or not."

Chapter 280: Who The Hell Are You?
"You have no assurances other than my word. It's up to you if you want to listen to it or not."
Jason's calm nature and the way he spoke made Luthor feel slightly irritated since this was a serious situation, but Luthor decided that this was just how Jason was, and he shook his head and asked something else.
"Alright then, let's assume that I believe you for a moment, are you trying to tell me that a princess from another world actually crossed into this world and has been living among us all this time?"
Jason nodded towards Luthor, and Luthor released a sigh as he thought back to the exchange that he stopped just a few minutes ago. Luthor noticed that the dragonriders had been trying to take a girl away, and they said that they would leave once they had her. That means that the person they were trying to take was the princess. But Luthor saw Jason take the princess and he noticed that the both of them seemed close. Doesn't that mean that Jason knew about the princess long before the Yellow Gate opened? Luthor's eyes narrowed towards Jason, but he decided not to press Jason on this matter since there were more important things to tackle.
Luthor pointed up at the Yellow Gate with his sword and asked.
"You said that gate over there is a pathway to another world. If that's true, then what is going to happen when these soldiers don't return to report their mission to the tyrant? Aren't more of them going to come through the gate?"
Jason's eyes narrowed dangerously and Luthor actually felt a shiver go down his spine when he saw the look of pure hate that passed over Jason's face at that moment! There was an aura of power surrounding Jason as he looked up at the Yellow Gate that made him look more dangerous than ever before, and Jason spat out his next words with an intensity that showed Luthor that his calm face was hiding an intense anger inside him!
"They'll be seeing me soon enough, so you don't need to worry about them coming here. Just focus on taking care of the superhumans that were injured. Someone is already healing them, but they'll be low on stamina and mana, so you need to get some ambulances here soon."
Luthor released a calm sigh as he turned to glance at the city once more. He looked at the absolute destruction that had been caused by the dragons. The fires that were still raging and releasing smoke for as far as the eye could see, and the broken building told nLuthor that the city would not be recovering anytime soon, and this made a heavy feeling of hatred rise in his heart for the people who were responsible for it. And at that moment, Luthor hoped that Jason would bring just as much destruction on the people of RAdagan for what they had done.
Luthor knew that Jason was just a newbie superhuman who got his powers a few weeks ago, but there was just something about Jason that made him seem very reliable at that moment. In a way, Luthor felt like he could trust Jason to keep his word, and as long as Jason was going to be handling the Yellow Gate himself, then they wouldn't have to worry about the tyrant sending more soldiers here.
Luthor put his swords back into his spatial ring, and he spoke while grabbing his comms from his pocket.
"I'll take your word for it then, Mr. Jason. I hope you won't let me down. If my superiors permit it, then I'll likely be joining you on this mission into the gate. Let's show this 'Soverign' that humanity isn't to be tested."
Luthor turned and jumped away from the building after saying this, and Jason watched him go for a few seconds before he turned around when he heard a message from Fenrir. The giant wolf was fighting together with Raya and it was complaining that it couldn't reach the dragons that were flying through the air since they were too high up! Jason gave a command for Fenrir to move back towards Azrael and help out there instead! Azrael was using lightning to bring down the dragons, so Fenrir could deal finishing blows to anyone who was grounded. Fenrir yipped as it happily moved towards Azrael, and Jason smiled as he shifted his attention to watching Gina's fight through the [Eye of the King], but it wasn't long before another figure landed a few meters behind Jason, and Jason clicked his tongue in irritation as he turned around to see who it was. Jason was already ready to tell whoever was there to fuck off, but his eyes suddenly widened as he felt an electric current pass through his body once his eyes met the fierce gaze of Commander Agiel. Agiel had injuries and burns all around her, and she was practically naked since her clothes were gone, but she stood tall, and she was looking at Jason with the same intense look in her eyes.
"I knew it. You're the one I've been looking for."
Jason frowned as he turned to regard Agiel properly and he watched as she took a few steps closer and looked up at him. He met her intense gaze with his fierce one and Agiel said.
"Tell me, Jason Marc. Did you feel it too? Whenever our eyes meet. Do you feel what I feel?"
Jason spoke while putting his hand on Agiel's shoulder.
"How about you take a step back before asking anything. I don't know what you're talking about, but you should have those wounds looked at. You're bleeding real bad."
Agiel shrugged Jason's hand off her shoulder and stepped close to him again and Jason's eyes narrowed as she spoke!
"I don't care about these injuries! They don't fucking matter! What I care about is you. You and me and what we have! You can't tell me you didn't feel it! Don't lie to me! You're the one I've been looking for!"
Agiel's grin was still in place, but now her eyes held an intensity that Jason had never seen before! Jason began to feel worried that she had gone mad. There was nothing that Jason could say to the woman because this was the first time that they would be talking since the incident at the SMD building and Jason was still not happy with her for what happened there. But Jason couldn't deny that he knew what she was talking about. That strange electricity that passed between them every time their eyes met was a mystery that Jason didn't really feel like digging into.
Jason was about to tell Agiel to leave him alone for the last time, but Agiel suddenly spoke with venom in her tone!
"Say something to me, dammit. Or are you going to run from me like your father ran from my mother, you Avaran bastard!"
Jason was so shocked by the words that he just stared in silence for a few seconds. If there was one thing that Jason never expected Agiel to say, something like that, and she managed to catch him completely off guard! Was there some sort of link between their families? As far as Jason knew, his father had met his mother very early after he arrived on Earth, and they began a family very soon after. If that was the case, then when the hell would his father have met Agiel's mother?
But Agiel had called him an Avaran, and that told Jason that Agiel knew about his father not being from Earth! Jason's father had a whole life outside of this world before he ever came to Earth, and it was possible that Agiel's mother had known him before he came to Earth! Jason's shock was obvious from the look on his face, and when he spoke, his shock bled through into his words.
"Who the hell are you? Are you even human?"

Chapter 281: Our Bond Is Inevitable
"Who the hell are you? Are you even human?"
Agiel's smile widened once she heard Jason's question, and she was about to speak, but at the next moment, a figure slammed into the ground between the two of them! Gina's face was set in a heavy scowl as she glared at Agiel while moving to stand in front of Jason like she was protecting what belonged to her. She allowed her eyes to scan over Agiel's body like Agiel was a piece of trash on the side of the road before she narrowed her eyes in anger.
"Take a step back or I'll tear your fucking head off your shoulders."
Gina's face was furious, and Agiel could immediately tell that Gina's threat was not a joke! Gina was more than ready to throw hands at that moment! Agiel felt her own fighter's spirit roaring to life, and the two women suddenly entered an intense staredown that caused the pressure in the region to shoot up immediately!
"Wait, Gina. I need to ask her something."
Jason suddenly interrupted the intense staredown as he put his hands on Gina's shoulders and pulled her back into his chest. He turned to Agiel with a curious gaze, but Agiel's eyes narrowed once she saw how Jason was holding Gina. Agiel began taking steps back before she gave Jason one last grin as she turned around to leave. Agiel knew that Jason wanted to know more about what she said, but she wasn't going to just give him what he wanted without getting what she wanted in return. If Jason wanted the truth from her, then he would give her the satisfaction that only he could give her!
"I'll hold onto these secrets until you're ready to give me what I want, Jason. You and I were destined to be together, and nothing can change the inevitable, not even the feelings you have for her. If you keep running from me, then you'll never know what I know."
Gina's eyes narrowed in anger when she heard what Agiel said about her, and Jason called out.
"Hey, wait—"
Boom!
Agiel flew off the building in one massive leap, and Jason cursed as he immediately sent one of the Phantoms through the shadows and told it to follow her and find out anything she was hiding! Jason was tempted to just force Agiel into telling him what she knew, but he could tell that something like torture or threats wouldn't work on a woman like that. Agiel seemed like the sort of person who would prefer to die before she gave in to any form of torture, so Jason could only hope now that she slips up and gives the Phantom some sort of lead that would help him know what was going on.
Gina looked up at Jason's frowning face, and she put her hand on his arm and asked him if everything was alright. Gina did not like the whole interaction she had just seen between Jason and Agiel, and the fact that Agiel said that she was meant to be with Jason just made Gina's blood boil fiercely. Gina's female intuition was strong, and she could tell that Agiel also had an interest in Jason. But this interest was different from the innocent love that Gina had seen on Riyala's face. Agiel's interest was raw and primal, almost like a lion that had locked onto its prey. Gina hadn't felt threatened by Riyala's interest in Jason because Gina knew that she could handle that sort of innocent crush easily, but for some reason, Agiel's interest made Gina feel uneasy! It felt like Agiel was trying to take Jason away from her!
Gina furrowed her brow as she suddenly remembered something that had happened in the past, and her eyes widened after a few seconds! Gina had seen that woman before!
'She's the one who asked me to give Jason her card when I was leaving the Panthers guild building a few days ago! How long has she been trying to get close to Jason!?'
Gina felt even more irritated when she realized that the woman had been working behind the scenes for so long. Gina had never given Jason Agiel's card because she didn't trust the look she had seen on Agiel's face even back then, and now Gina could tell that she had made the right decision. That woman was someone she had to look out for. Gina let out another sigh as she saw that Jason was still frowning in thought, and she asked him what was on his mind again.
Jason blinked back to reality, and he smiled at Gina and told her that everything was fine. Gina looked into Jason's eyes, and she could tell that he wasn't telling her everything, so she gave Jason one of those looks that she only used when she was getting annoyed. Jason noticed the look on her face, and he released a calm sigh before he glanced at where Agiel had gone again.
"She knows something about my father. I think there's a link between her family and mine, but she doesn't want to tell me what it is for some reason."
Gina's eyes darkened as violent thoughts began to pass through her head immediately! Gina knew just how much Jason had been affected by his father's disappearance, so the fact that Agiel was hiding important information from Jason was enough reason for Gina to get violent! Unlike Jason, Gina had far less restraint, and Gina was not above doing everything in her power to get the information that Jason needed! A hand suddenly landed on Gina's head and ruffled her hair, and Gina let out a cute cry as Jason shook her head around playfully! Gina glared up at Jason in anger, but the blush on her face only made her look cute instead of angry, and Jason grinned while saying:
"You know you can be really scary when you go silent like that. It makes me wonder what sort of evil thoughts go through your head. But you don't need to get so stressed over this right now; we have other things to worry about. She looks like she wants something from me, so I'll wait until I can find out what it is before making any major decisions. So just let it go, alright?"
Gina pouted before nodding cutely while trying to fix her rough hair. She was surprised that Jason knew what was going through her head, but if Jason didn't want her to do anything, then she wasn't going to go behind his back. Gina went up to her toes and gave Jason a quick peck on the lips, and she smiled when she saw Jason's grin widen. Jason turned back to the battlefield, and he saw that all the dragons and their riders had been killed. The destruction they did to the city was immeasurable, but Jason was sure that the city would survive. Humans had suffered far worse before, and they somehow always managed to come back stronger. Jason put his hand out, and a pulse of mana traveled across the region as he commanded the souls to rise and join his Legion.
"Resurrect."
None of them had the strength of mind to resist for even a moment, and they all rose from their bodies and into the real world. Jason told his subordinates to grab all the Magic Crystals in the heart of the monsters, and he sent the stronger subordinates back into his Alternate Dimension since they were done fighting.

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC282: Existential Fear
Chapter 282: Existential Fear
While the Legion was working on collecting the crystals and gathering the dead bodies to put into Jason's Alternate Dimension, Jason glanced at the tab above Gina's head, and he hummed when he saw that she was already at [21%] in her hierarchy progressions.
'Just a few more battles like this one and she should reach a hundred. I wonder how much stronger she'll be as a Rook Rank II.'
Jason felt pride in his heart when he thought about Gina being stronger and he wrapped his hands around her shoulder and bent to kiss the top of her head. Gina looked up with a questioning brow, and Jason shook his head as he spoke.
"Mum's been asking about you. I had to tell her you were passed out since last night, but I can tell she wasn't buying it. Give her a call later."
Gina felt slightly guilty as she thought about Jason lying to his mother. Gina knew that Jason didn't like lying to his parents, but she understood that it was necessary. Mira wasn't a part of the superhuman world, so she might not have taken the news of Gina's death very well! In fact, Gina was sure that Mira would have broken down if she heard about what happened! Gina decided that she would follow Jason's lead and keep this a secret as well when she speaks to Mira! It already ended, so there was no point in bringing it up anymore!
Jason suddenly looked up into the distance with a frown on his face and Gina turned around to try and see what he was looking at! There was nothing there and Gina asked Jason what had happened.
'I need to go meet someone. I won't take long, so use the shadows and go make sure Riyala is doing alright.'
Jason gave Gina another kiss on the head as he said this, and Gina nodded when she saw the serious look on Jason's face. Gina was curious about what Jason was going to do, so she would ask him about it later when he was done. Gina fell into the shadows and began heading towards Riyala's location, and Jason told his Legion members to continue taking the crystals from the dead Magical Beasts as he put his hands in his pockets and activated a skill.
[King's Substitute] has been activated.
....
Outside the city, a black military-grade helicopter slowly landed on top of a building and killed its engines as various men in black combat suits came down. Their faces were covered with half masks, and none of the men had any military badge or symbol on them that would show what organisation they were working with! Once they appeared, the Enforcers who were standing at the side narrowed their eyes in distrust as they watched the men. Fredrica, the head of the Gaia team overseeing America, was talking to the young girl, Romanov, who was holding the dome over the city and she watched as one of the men who had just arrived walked up to her. He was a tall man with a strong build like a soldier, and Fredrica immediately knew that he was the one leading the group.
"Make sure none of them can leave that city until we've cleared out the bodies, do you understand?"
Fredrica said this to Romanov, and Romanov nodded in understanding as she strengthened the dome with her Gift to make sure no one could leave the city. Fredrica let out a harsh breath as she finally turned to the man beside her. Fredrica was still trying to come to terms with everything that had happened in the past few minutes, and she knew that it would take some time for her to understand all of it. Jason was not a strange face as far as Fredrica was concerned. In fact, every single member of the Gaia organisation knew about the Marc family, and they all knew that Jason Marc was the son of an inter-world traveller who came here twenty years ago! They had all been waiting for the moment when Jason Marc would finally awaken his abilities and follow in the footsteps of his father, but the current situation was not going the way they hoped it would at all!
The first problem was how Jason Marc already seemed to have a distrust of the entire Gaia organisation. The organisation had tried its best to keep a civil relationship with Jason because they knew he would be an important asset, but his involvement with inter-world travellers and his dislike for the entire Gaia organisation made it difficult for them to make him do what they wanted.
And now there was a second problem. Fredrica knew that Jason Marc had warned them not to go near the princess since he had taken her as a guest, but Fredrica had been hoping that since Jason wasn't on Earth, they would be able to send her back to her own world and get rid of the other inter-world travellers before he got back here! The fact that Jason had appeared just before the deal was completed not only ruined their plans, but Fredrica was sure that it would sour the already fragile relationship between Gaia and Jason even more!
Fredrica had gotten off the phone with Cercai only a few minutes ago, and Cercai ordered her to just continue her duties as normal without bothering about Jason Marc's reaction. Gaia's job was to ensure the protection of the human race, and even though Jason had warned them not to touch Riyala, they did what they had to do in order to protect Earth! They couldn't just allow the life of one girl to determine the fate of an entire city like this! And Fredrica knew that if she ever had to make a choice like this again, she would give Riyala to the Dragonriders every single time.
Fredrica let out another tense breath before she faced the man in front of her and spoke.
"You need to clear out any dead bodies that are in the city before we can lift the dome. There'll be satellites pointing at the city soon, and they can't see the inter-world travellers. Use the Spatial Distorter to transport the bodies to our base here in America, and we'll have the scientists look over them for any pathogens or diseases before we take them to the main base. Do you understand?"
The masked man nodded before he spoke in a gruff voice.
"What about the superhumans that saw the inter-world travellers. Do we dispose of them?"
Fredrica's face squeezed in thought before she pinched her nose and spoke.
"No, we can't. We'll just have to control the narrative to make sure there are no rumours. Gather the superhumans together and call Jinn so he can perform a mass memory wipe on them. Then spread some news about the gate being filled with dragons, but don't say anything about the inter-world travellers. Don't allow any of the superhumans to leave until you're sure no one can speak about what really happened –"
"Fredrica."
A stern voice suddenly spoke from behind Fredrica, and a deep, intense silence passed through the entire rooftop as every single person turned around in shock once they heard the voice. Fredrica suddenly felt an existential fear pass through her entire body, like a rat that suddenly realised it had wandered into the territory of a cat, and the cat was standing right behind it. Fredrica didn't even need to turn around to know exactly who was standing there. Jason Marc.
A hand landed softly on Fredrica's shoulder, and Fredrica's entire body shook in fear! Fredrica's training started to kick in, and she took in a calming breath to make her heart stop racing, but there was no way she could ignore the sheer bloodlust pouring off Jason's body! Jason's voice sounded perfectly calm, but his mana was raging like a storm that threatened to eradicate anyone who dared to even blink! Jason leaned in to whisper in Fredrica's ear, but the man who had been speaking to Fredrica suddenly shouted.
"Who are –!"
"Shut up."
Jason's narrowed eyes pierced through the man, and the man froze immediately!

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC283: The Backup Plan
Chapter 283: The Backup Plan
"Who are –!"
"Shut up."
Jason turned to the man who spoke with a glare! The man was already reaching for a weapon behind him, but he froze once he saw the intensity present in Jasno's eyes! The man suddenly felt a blade press into his neck from behind, and his body locked up as he wondered how someone had gotten behind him! The man dared to glance at who was there, and he saw a figure in all-black holding the dagger and staring at him with eyes that were devoid of any light! There were more figures holding weapons to the necks of every single person on that rooftop, and the man cursed internally! How the hell did these many assassins sneak up on them like this!? Was Jason's mana so potent that they didn't notice the assassins until they were right on top of them! Jason's red eyes pinned the man down as the assassin's dagger dug deeper into his skin, and the man slowly raised his hand in surrender. Jason then turned back to Fredrica, and her entire body shook as he addressed her in a calm voice.
"You're coming with me."
Fredrica's eyes widened, and she was about to ask for help, but before she could even produce a single word, she was pulled down into the shadow below her feet, and they vanished from the rooftop!
...
Fredrica was roughly pushed out from the shadow inside an empty office building, and she stumbled forward before falling to the ground with a grunt! She turned around while breathing heavily, and she watched as Jason calmly walked out from the shadows with his hands in his pockets. Jason's face was set into a calm look of complete disinterest, and if anyone saw him at that moment, then they would never think that he was angry! But Jason's mana told a completely different story! Jason's mana had spread across the entire room and it was pressing down on Fredrica with enough force to make her sick!
Fredrica swallowed as she tried to get to her feet, but Jason doubled the pressure from his mana, and Fredrica fell to her hands and knees as she felt all the breath leave her lungs! Fredrica felt like she was going to die! How in the world did Jasn have this much mana!? Didn't their spies say that Jason was still just an S Rank!? This wasn't normal! Not even an SS Rank should have this much mana! A pair of shoes came into view, and Fredrica looked up in dread to see Jason staring down at her with those same impassive red eyes! The emptiness in those eyes sent a shiver through her body! Jason's message was as clear as day, and Fredrica knew at that moment that this was not going to be a conversation between equals. Jason was the one with the power here.
"I warned you, didn't I? I told you that we would have a problem if you dared go near Riyala."
Jason's voice floated through the air with a terrifying calmness, and Fredica swallowed. For a second, she wondered who Jason was talking about, but it didn't take her long to figure out that Jason was referring to the dragon princess that she had tried to hand over to the dragonriders. Fredrica swallowed once more before trying to find her voice.
"W-We did what we had to do... to save the world. We aren't afraid to do what's necessary for the sake of humanity."
Jason crouched and grabbed Fredrica by the hair, and she let out a cry as he pulled her up so she was staring him right in the eye.
"If you were looking for a reason to do what I say, then you should have thought about what I would do to you. You broke into my house, threatened my guests, and kidnapped my friend. Any one of those crimes would have been enough reason for me to kill you, and the only reason you're alive right now is because Riyala is still on Earth. If I had come back here and she had been taken away, then you and I would be having a very different conversation."
Fredrica glared at Jason with a pained expression on her face, and Jason tossed her back to the ground and stood up calmly. Fredrica held her head in pain from how hard Jason had grabbed it! It felt like he was trying to pull out all her hair at once, and Fredrica was thankful that he hadn't. Jason spoke up again:
"Call Cersai."
Fredrica was shocked when she heard this, and she looked up at Jason with wide eyes. Fredrica didn't want to involve Cersai in this at all since she knew that it would seriously affect Gaia's relationship with Jason, so she spoke up with some effort.
"Cersai wasn't involved in this. I did it on my own."
DOON!
Jason's mana suddenly pushed Fredrica to the floor again, and Jason's eyes narrowed in rage as he commanded once more.
"I said call Cersai. I will not ask again."
Fredrica's entire body was trembling from the intensity of the mana in that room, and she felt her hands slowly moving towards her phone to make the call, but before she could even reach it, Jason's phone rang and Jason looked down at it calmly. Jason took out his phone, and he saw that it was an unknown number calling him. Jason picked the call, and he heard Cersai's voice coming through from the other side.
[You've really done a number on my agent, Mr. Marc. I understand that you are angry, but this is no way to treat a woman. Can I ask you to let her go?]
"Shut up, Cersai. You should thank all your gods that you're not the one standing in front of me right now, because your head would have been torn off your body already. Give me one good reason why I shouldn't find and kill you this moment."
The voice on the other side of the phone was silent for a few seconds before Cersai's voice came through.
[Killing someone for trying to protect their world is the greatest honor a person can receive. You were not here, Jason. And no one knew when you would be coming back. If I had placed blind faith in you, then there was every chance that the entire country would have been destroyed before you arrived. I did what I did because I thought it was necessary. If you wish to make me your enemy for that, then so be it.]
Jason's teeth tightened in anger, and he spat out his next words.
"Don't play that shit with me, Cersai. You think I'm a fool? Protecting the country? Dying for the country? Is all this bullshit really coming from the same person who was preparing a nuclear strike to take out the entire city as a backup plan?"
Both Cersai and Fredrica felt shock pass through them when they heard what Jason just said. Cersai had been standing on a balcony on top of a skyscraper, and he felt his brow furrow in shock as he looked around him for any sort of listening device. Jason was right about Cersai planning to take out the entire city and everyone in it if his initial plan had failed. Gaia's goal as an organization was to protect humanity, not to protect a single city. If they allowed the interworld travellers to get out of New Jersey, then it would have caused unforeseen problems for everyone, and the best course of action that Cersai thought about was to take out the entire city before things got out of hand.
But the question now was how the hell Jason knew about that! Cersai had made sure that only a select group of people knew about the Nuclear strike, but all those people were government agents with the highest clearances, and he was sure that none of them would speak to Jason about the plan!

STRONGEST NECROMANCER SYSTEMC284: You Owe Me
Chapter 284: You Owe Me
The moment Jason spoke about the Nuclear plan, Cersai's eyes widened in surprise, and Jason scoffed when he heard the silence on the other end of the call. Jason had made sure that his Phantom spies stayed far enough from Cersai so that he wouldn't be able to notice their presence, but that didn't mean they couldn't hear the conversations that Cersai had. Jason had spoken to the Phantom spy, and the spy told Jason that Cersia was already one button away from eradicating the entire city if he needed to. Cersai had no right to speak about protecting human lives.
Jason gave Fredrica a hard glare as he spoke to Cersai.
"I want you to remember this moment, Cersai. Carve it into your heart and your mind and keep it close to your memory at all times. This is the moment when I gave you your final chance. I am not my father. He might have tolerated your bullshit and worked with you, but I will not. I won't kill your agent this time, but you owe me. If you step out of line ever again, if I hear that you got even a thousand meters close to anyone that I know ever again, then I will hunt you down, and I will end your fucking existence."
Jason cut off the call without bothering to wait for a response from Cersai before he turned to give Fredrica another heavy glare. Fredrica was still on the floor, and her face was set in a look of pure shock. Fredrica didn't know how Jason had gotten the information about their Plan B! That was something that only she and Cersai knew about! Jason put his phone out towards Fredrica and spoke up calmly.
"Put your number in there."
A new wave of shock passed through Fredrica when she heard that request, and it showed on her face from how deeply her brows furrowed. For a split second, Fredrica actually thought that Jason was trying to make a move on her, but that thought was squashed the moment she saw the glare that was still on Jason's face. Fredrica reached for the phone and she quickly put her number in before handing the phone back to Jason. Jason pocketed the phone while speaking up.
"I'll be needing some things from you later, and when I call to collect it, you better fucking pick up. I'll consider this your apology for what you did, so don't make the mistake of pissing me off again. This is your last chance."
Jason turned around while calling back his mana, and Fredrica took in a long breath as the pressure in the room finally reduced! She watched as Jason fell into the shadow and vanished from the room, and she fell to her back with her hands spread open as she tried to calm her racing heart.
"So that's the son of Richard Marc. Sigh~ What a fucking dick."
....
[In New Jersey]
The damaged city had finally begun to quiet down as the dragons and their riders were taken out by Jason's Legion. The dead bodies had already been taken by Azrael, and he had returned with most of the Legion to Jason's Alternate Dimension, but the Spidermonkeys and superhumans were still moving around the city to try to find any casualties that were either stuck or too injured to move. Most of the survivors of the fight were huddled in the basement of one of the last standing skyscrapers on the Eastern part of the city. The western wall of the buildings basement had been destroyed by one of the dragon's attacks, so there was a large hole in the building that gave them enough light and fresh air.
Superhumans and civilians were lying on blankets, and there were many healers moving around to try to make everyone as comfortable as possible. On one side of the basement, Riyal was seated on her knees as she concentrated all her powers towards healing the injuries of the people around her. There was a long line that had formed as many superhumans came to be healed, and Riyala was using every single ounce of mana that she had to make sure that she helped them.
Riyala concentrated with a serious look on her face, and she poured mana into a deep gash on the waist of a superhuman. The gash slowly began to close, and it didn't take ten seconds before there was nothing but smooth flesh there. The man's eyes widened in surprise when he saw how perfectly Riyala had healed him and he thanked her profusely for her help. Riyala smiled at the man, and the man was led away by another healer as the next injured came forward.
Beside Riyala, Gina was standing with her hands folded, and she watched with a small smile as Riyala helped out. Gina knew that Riyala was still feeling guilty for the dragon riders coming here, but now that Riyala was actually doing some good, Gina hoped that she would feel a little better.
"Excuse me."
A voice suddenly called out from behind Gina, and Gina turned around to see Liam standing there. Gina's eyes widened in recognition once she saw Liam and she gave him a respectful nod in greeting.
"Mr. Liam, I didn't know you were here as well."
Gina still had a lot of respect for Liam since she knew that he was the head of superhuman correspondence at the SMD, and Liam smiled as he returned Gina's greeting. Liam recognized Gina from when he first met Jason at the hospital where his mother was admitted, and Liam was sure that this woman was Jason's girlfriend, so he did his best to show as much respect as possible when he spoke.
"I just wanted to ask what happened outside with the attackers. How did Jason handle it?"
Liam heard from some of the superhumans that Jason had come back at the perfect time and handled the dragons before they could completely destroy the entire city, but he was still curious to know just how Jason managed to deal with all those dragons and dragon riders. Liam saw a loving smile appear on Gina's face when he asked about Jason, and Liam could tell that this woman was completely in love with Jason. Any woman who could smile like this while only thinking about someone was definitely in love.
Liam listened as Gina told him the basics of what Jason had done and how he killed all the dragons. There were some details that Gina left out since she didn't think they were important, but in the end Liam had gotten a reasonable idea of what happened.
Liam let out a sigh of slight disbelief when Gina finally finished talking! Liam knew that Gina had told him nothing but the truth since she had no reason to lie, but a small part of him still couldn't believe all of this! It was just too insane! A week ago, no one in the world would have even thought about Jason when the term 'strongest superhuman' was brought up! There was no way anyone would assume that Jason was the strongest in the entire country! But now, there was no doubt at all that Jason was the single most important superhuman that the country had ever had! Liam was going to have to talk to the president of the country later about Jason. They need to come up with special privileges that would make him happy to stay in the country.

Chapter 285: Two Idiots
Liam shook his head and let out a small sigh before he asked Gina where Jason was. Gina hummed in thought, and Liam raised a brow when he didn't get an answer from her for a few seconds. Gina almost looked like she was talking to someone else for some reason, and Liam was even more shocked when Gina suddenly smiled and said.
"He's already on his way; he should be here soon."
How the fuck did Gina know that? This thought passed through Liam's mind the moment he heard what Gina said! How the hell did Gina manage to communicate with Jason without using her phone or even an artefact! Don't tell me Jason had also gained the ability to use telepathy! If that was true, then Liam might actually lose his fucking mind! How the hell were they going to register Jason in their database when he seemed to gain a new ability every fucking day!
"Liam."
"Oh my fucking god!!"
Liam felt his entire body jerk in shock when he suddenly heard Jason speak from behind him, and he turned around with a heavy glare to see Jason standing there with a blank look on his face. Jason looked as calm and composed as always, but if you looked closer, you would be able to see the small grin on Jason's lips! Liam cursed internally as he realized that the bastard had done that on purpose! This fucking dick!
"Holy shit, it's him."
"That's Jason Marc, right? I saw him commanding an army of dead monsters earlier. It was insane."
"Someone said he killed a dragon with a single hit."
"He killed every single dragon like it was nothing!"
"Damn, why didn't he come earlier. If he was here then the city wouldn't have been destroyed."
"Yeah, you're right. Where the hell was he when they were breaking everything to pieces?"
"I heard he had some super important mission to do."
"More important than saving the city?"
The whispers from the superhumans around could be heard by most of the people in the room since they were all superhuman, and Gina's face gained a look of pure fury when she heard some of them talking down on Jason for not coming earlier! These fools had no idea what Jason had been doing, so what right did they have to talk about him like this was his fault!? Gina was about to speak up, but Jason's voice suddenly echoed through her mind.
'It's fine, babe. Let them talk.'
'But—'
'Hey, I said it's fine. I made my choice, and now I have to deal with the consequences of that choice. But I don't regret what I did, so nothing they say matters.'
Gina let out a sigh at the nonchalant attitude of her boyfriend. If she had her way, she would give these people a nasty tongue-lashing, but since Jason said that it was fine, then she would let it go. Liam had also heard the things that the superhumans were saying about Jason, and he decided that he would have to make sure he gave an interview with the news later so that no one would try to paint Jason as the villain here. Whenever large-scale disasters happened like this, there were always those who tried to pin the blame on a single person, but Liam couldn't let them do something like that to Jason! If they pissed Jason off and pushed him away, then it was over for the entire country!
Liam spoke up quickly.
"Jason, thanks for coming to help. We'd all be dead if not for you."
Jason shrugged with a small smile, and he said that it was alright. Jason looked towards where Riyala was still healing the wounds of some of the superhumans, and when Riyala noticed his eyes on her, she looked up and blushed cutly while giving Jason a smile. Jaosn returned her smile with a proud nod, and Riyala's blush deepened as she ducked her head! But Riyala suddenly felt a pair of eyes on her back, and she quickly turned away when she realized that it was Gina! Gina was just staring at Riyala calmly, but Riyala couldn't stop her heart from racing in fear! Jason sensed the tension between the two women immediately, and he decided that he would ask Gina about it later. Jason turned back to the side as Liam spoke up in a more serious tone.
"What are we going to do about the Yellow Gate? Even though the dragons are dead, it's still open. Anything can get through."
Liam was obviously worried that there would be more dragons coming through soon, and Jason gave Liam the same answer that he had given Luthor a few minutes ago. Liam felt his eyes widen in surprise! Jason was going inside the Gate? Liam knew that whatever was inside that Gate would likely be more dangerous than anything they had ever faced. The fact that five dragons came out to threaten them told Liam that those were just the lackeys that were sent out as scouts. Somewhere inside that fucking Gate was the actual boss, and Liam didn't know how to feel about anyone going up against it. But did they have any other options? Jason was the strongest superhuman in the country, so they had no choice but to rely on him for protection.
"Please destroy whatever is on the other side of that Gate."
A voice suddenly spoke up from the side, and the two men turned to see Florence standing there. Florence had one of her hands in a sling that looped around her neck, and there was a large bandage wrapped around her bleeding head. Florence wasn't as injured as some of the other superhumans, so she told the healers to preserve their mana and take care of those with serious injuries first. She just did a bit of first aid, and she was now waiting for them to finish off with the others so she could be healed. Florence looked dirty and absolutely exhausted, and anyone who saw her then would be able to tell that she had gone through hell during the attacks. But there was a deep intensity in her eyes that showed just how angry she was about the destruction that the dragons had caused. Florence was a prideful woman, but at that moment, she threw away all of her pride and bowed her head to Jason.
"I don't know where you were during the attack, and I won't ask you for any details since that is in the past. But you are here now, and you are fighting for us. So please, kill every single enemy on the other side of that Gate. Don't let this disaster happen again."
The sound of groaning superhumans and the bodies lying around the floor gave more meaning to Florence's words, and Jason could see that Florence wasn't saying all of this just because she was afraid of what would happen if more of them came around. Florence was speaking from a place of pure, unfiltered hatred for the dragon riders. If Florence had a button that would allow her to kill every single dragon in the world right now, Jason knew that she would press it without any hesitation!
A deep pain suddenly passed through Florence's head as a headache washed over her, and she grimaced and held her head in pain! Liam quickly moved to catch her before she could fall and Florence felt a blush rising on her cheek as Liam looked down at her with a worried gaze while asking if she was okay! Jason watched as Florence leaned against Liam's chest with a little more excitement than you would expect, and Jason was surprised when Liam didn't even seem to notice what she was doing. Liam furrowed his brow while putting his hand against Florence's head, and he asked Florence if she was alright! Florence's cheek grew slightly red from the contact, and Florence nodded quickly while pushing off him to stand on her own. Jason scoffed in mild amusement once he saw their interaction. What the hell were these two idiots doing?
