Ganji mentally cursed. How could he have overlooked this point? True, his opponent couldn't harm him, but he couldn't catch Kiba either. His incomplete Lava Release Chakra Mode had a very limited duration. If Kiba simply avoided direct combat long enough, Ganji would undoubtedly lose.

"Woof!"
Akamaru barked excitedly, chewed twice, then swallowed the molten chakra whole.
"My Lava Release chakra... devoured?! How could this be?!"
Ganji stared in disbelief. His body was encased in nothing but blazing Lava Release chakra—anyone making contact should've suffered severe burns instantly. Even he himself had to be extremely careful when using it. Yet somehow, this fuzzy little puppy had bitten off part of his protective coating without so much as a singe?
"Kiba and Akamaru trained together. Kiba gained the Werewolf Transformation ability, acquiring claws that cause endless bleeding wounds as well as an enhanced physical constitution. As for Akamaru, he obtained a devouring ability, similar to the mythical phenomenon of a Tengu swallowing the sun whole. Most importantly, whatever Akamaru consumes can later be returned to Kiba after digestion."

"Because you have it!" Kiba twitched his fingers and slashed his claw into the ground. The extremely high-temperature Lava Release Chakra immediately caused the rock surface to show slight melting effects. "This was actually a present from you!"
"A present from me? Could it be..."
Ganji's heart stirred. Hurriedly looking down, he finally discovered that at some point, Akamaru had already devoured all the Lava Release Chakra on his leg. How long had it been—just around ten seconds?! And right after this dog chewed off his Lava Release Chakra, the opponent, Kiba Inuzuka, gained the same ability. Both the real Kiba and his Akamaru-created Beast Human Clone began spinning rapidly at the same time, drilling forward like twin drills straight toward Ganji.
"[Earth Style Mud Wall]! Don't underestimate me!"
Ganji clenched his teeth and made the hand seals, channeling the remaining chakra in his body. He slammed both palms onto the ground, and a thick Earth Wall rose up before him.
"Boom!"
Two tornado-shaped drills crashed into the Earth Wall. Nagare's [Passing Fang], spinning at high speed, continuously tore at the barrier, while Ganji kept pouring chakra into maintaining it. The two were locked in a tense stalemate.
However, much of Ganji's chakra had already been absorbed by Akamaru. Continuously reinforcing the Earth Wall drained his reserves even further, and now his chakra was nearly depleted.
