Kairo Retsu was already quite fired up after seeing the entrance of the Thousand-Blade Dragon.

But Valstrax was different.

Beneath the falling stars, panicked people fled the scene as fast as they could. But the moment the meteors landed, the sheer impact upheaved an entire stretch of terrain.
Yet this was still far from what the demon truly desired.
"So I really have to deal with those Hunters."
As Shah Dalamadur continued summoning more meteors from the sky, the demon could sense it could command their descent via sheer will.
"Tanjiro Kamado, Joseph Joestar, Naofumi Iwatani, Kazuma Satou…"
The demon began listing off the Hunters' names.
And then, with special care, added two more:
"…Laios and Kairo Retsu."
"In the end, it has to be this way."
Lowering Shah Dalamadur's massive head, it began scanning the Arena for the Hunters' whereabouts.
Though the desires of these Hunters were delicious and even regenerative...
The demon would never allow them to obstruct its never-ending feast.
As it mused, it also noticed something odd about the movement of the seemingly insignificant humans below.
They were gathering—and that drew the demon's attention.
But seeing no Hunters among them, the demon quickly lost interest.
It had no intention of harming them, as they too were part of the endless feast.
Shah Dalamadur's colossal head scoured the Arena.
Its enormous body slithered across Heaven's Mount, knocking down boulders and causing an earth-shaking commotion that crushed morale below.
Very quickly, the demon located its targets.
Naofumi Iwatani—riding the Silver Ridge Beast, making a swift retreat.
And on the other side, Joseph—gliding through the forest on the back of a Mizutsune.
"Found you."
As soon as the targets were confirmed, the sky once again flared with meteor-light.
Pale, blazing stars summoned by Shah Dalamadur hurtled toward Naofumi and Joseph's locations.
"!"
Joseph had already spotted the meteor descending toward him—and visible panic bloomed across his face.
He hadn't even done anything to Shah Dalamadur yet, so why was it targeting him now?!
"I said run!!"
Joseph gripped the Mizutsune beneath him, infusing it with Ripple energy. The beast, already gliding fast, suddenly exploded into an even higher burst of speed.
"Joseph!!"
And in the party voice chat, Naofumi was already shouting: "We need to regroup now! It's time for the next strategy!"
"Get your Dual Blades ready!"
