『Hakari Kotaro - Spectator Stands』
"Dude... are you ok? You look like you're about to pass out."
"I'm hanging in there."
"U-Umm, Hakari-kun, when receiving a lap pillow, do people not usually face the other way?"
"Nuh uh."
In response to Momo's inquiry, my voice came out muffled from the vast expanse of her soft thighs. I was currently in the audience stands laying face down on Momo's thighs, relaxing and trying not to think about the soreness in my body. Thankfully people made room for me to occupy some seats to lay down properly.
I felt absolutely horrible.
While it only took a few seconds to heal myself with Super Regeneration, having regenerated that much blood and used Iron Flesh that hard during the fight has left me completely exhausted. While I still had Boundless Stamina, energy, the one I use for my abilities was not so boundless.
To put it plainly, I could still fight, but felt absolutely horrible, like having the energy to move but being sleepy.
I just wanna sleep on Momo's thighs forever...
"Hakari-kun, you really should not fall asleep here."
"Waa..."
"...I'm so jealous it's painful...!!!"
"Let it go man, the sooner you abandon hope, the faster you can recover."
While I buried my face deeper into the softness and cursed the sports uniform pants she wore that kept me from perfection, I heard the whining of Electricity Boy from the back while Mineta spoke like a Buddha who had reached enlightenment.
"What happened to you, Mineta? Did you break your brain while training?"
"Kinda."
Man they are loud.
Well, not as loud as the surrounding stadium, if anyone was taking photos of me like this I would have Aiba track them down and triple their electricity bill. To distract myself from the encroaching sleepiness, I pulled up the interface and rolled my Gold Skill Gacha ticket, Momonite had saved my life before, maybe it will throw me a bone this time too.
Rolling Gold Skill Gacha with advantage...
[Novice Polearm Mastery]
Common Skill
You are reasonably talented in handling polearms such as spears, halberds or scythes. You know how to smack with the long stick, how to cut with the blade at the end of the long stick, you know how to stab people with the pointy end of the long stick, and that is enough for most people.
or
[Intermediate Math]
Uncommon Skill
You are very good at math, enough to be considered somewhat of a savant. You can rapidly calculate numbers in your head very accurately, faster than most people. You can also keep track of numbers and variables especially well.
Ugh, nothing great. But I supposed being good at math and calculations couldn't be a bad thing. Polearm mastery was not even considered. I didn't use spears, Piercing Blood was better than any spear I had access to. And I had invested too much into Hand to Hand combat to reinvest my skill points.
As I confirmed Math, I felt a painful headache hit my head, making me groan into Momo's thighs. This was more painful than any other skill I had gotten thus far. It almost felt like my brain was getting brushed with steel wool. But after the pain faded, my mind felt surprisingly refreshed and smooth. As if the skill had ironed out some of the wrinkles in there. I even remembered how to do advanced trigonometry now, which was something.
Now then, since that was not great, I hope this Diamond Ability will soother my wounds.
Rolling Diamond Ability Gacha...
An Elite Ability.
[Enhanced Senses]
Elite Ability
You are able to freely enhance your senses with energy, enhance your sight to the point where you can see country to country, smell to the point where you can track people from scent marks left months ago, hearing to the point where you can hear a pin drop a city away, etc. as long as you have enough energy.
...An Epic from a Platinum and an Elite from a Diamond? Lady Luck must have forgotten her bipolar medication today.
Still, this was quite a good ability, I didn't know how it would work with piercing eyes, but it did round off my capabilities. I could still sense people through their bloodstreams, but that had limited range. Maybe with this I could extend that sense to kilometers?
A useful ability to be sure. It's no Super Regeneration or Hemokinesis, but I could have done way worse.
Though unfortunately, eventually I had to turn my head to actually watch the rest of the tournament instead of marinating on Momo's thighs. The fight after mine was Ochako vs Vine Girl.
Unfortunately for Ochako, this was probably the worst possible matchup for her. Someone whose ability allows them to anchor themselves and grapple their opponent made her Anti-Gravity practically useless. As expected, before even half a minute passed, the vines dug through the arena and hooked her ankle before sending her out of the arena with a single swing.
For a moment, I considered coming over to her to console her but changed my mind. She did not need to be coddled. She was not that weak that I'd have to pamper her. It would be better for her to get over this by herself.
But that didn't mean I couldn't give jungle head a good one for her sake.
After around 10 minutes, the arena was repaired and Ochako joined us in the spectator seats. Her eyes looked a little red, but she looked somewhat relieved about something. Though she blushed upon seeing my head buried in Momo's thighs.
"Hey Ochako, you doin' okay?"
She nodded after a bit of hesitation.
"I'm... yeah, I'm okay, thanks for asking Hakari-kun. I didn't actually expect to make it all the way to the quarter-finals, so I'm a bit pumped up, y'know? Maybe I'll get some good offers."
A slight smile wormed itself to my lips as I pushed myself up from Momo's lap.
"Good for you, now, let's see how Izuku does. Because after that, it's my turn to avenge you."
Hearing my joking words, she blushed and turned her head, muttering a small shaky thanks under her voice. But we could not stay focused on her for long as Deku and Monoma finally stepped onto the stage. He seemed to have copied the quirk of the Beast Boy as he quickly transformed into a large beast on stage.
The following fight was actually pretty close, while Izuku landed his hands, they did not deal more than superficial damage to Monoma. But Monoma's flaw made itself apparently, due to being unused to such a bestial quirk, he was fighting very recklessly. And as a result, Deku managed to get the upper hand, climbing to Monoma's back and putting him into a chokehold until he submitted.
And after his round, it was time for my semi finals against Vineyard Girl.
"Good luck Hakari-kun!"
"Give them hell!"
"Don't show them mercy just because they are a girl you hear?"
Listening to the cheers behind me, I walked to the changing room.

『Hakari Kotaro』
My fight against Vine Girl was anticlimactic.
With my power over Hemokinesis, I did not even give her a chance before giving her a haircut with several slicing exorcisms, and without her hair being able to help her, she was forced to concede. All achieved with the absolute minimum effort for a victory that took less than a minute. Allowing me to conserve what remained of my energy and score a ticket while I was at it.
Feat Achieved! Defeat Shiozaki Ibara
+1x Silver Item Gacha Ticket
Rolling Silver Item Gacha…
A Common Item!
[XII - The Hanged Man]
Common Item
Tarot Card - Allows you to absorb all of the wounds and ailments of a target while lessening their intensity by 20%. 120 Hour Cooldown.
When I rolled the ticket in the changing room, I really didn't expect anything truly significant from it. But this ticket? Despite being a common item, it may as well have been an elite in my hands.
Now, I would call it absolute dog shit if I got this yesterday. But now it was different, I had Super Regeneration and Regenerator. If anyone near me suffers a near lethal wound, I could absorb it and heal myself far easier than I could heal them.
The item aside, I started stretching in the waiting room. My next fight was against Izuku, and I didn't expect him to give me a clean victory. Physically, I was pretty fine but my energy reserves were less than I could tolerate. And to add onto that, overusing my energy the entire day has left me very exhausted, Izuku on the other hand had no such struggles with energy, even if some of his fingers were busted.
Still, he was dead wrong if he thought he'd be winning this. I thought that boy everything he knew, not everything I knew.

『Hakari Kotaro』
The crowd went wild as we both stepped onto the stage, Izuku gave me a solid, determined glare that I met with a cracking of my knuckles.
""Everybody! Applause for the Finale of the First Years sports festival! On one corner, we have the dark horse who nobody expected to climb this high, the ferocious Izuku Midoriya!!! VERSUS! The miracle boy with every trick in the bag and the skill to make them all count, the first place in every event, Hakari Kotaro!!!""
We walked steadily towards each other until Izuku and I stood only a single step apart from each other. Despite my height being taller than his, we felt pretty even right now.
"Don't go easy on me, Hakari-kun."
"Hah, you're gonna wish I did."
He nodded. And it felt like a spark passed between us as we both jumped into action at once. Green sparks danced across his body as he turned on Full Cowling, while a black marking appeared on my face as I used Flowing Red Scale. We both pulled our fists back and punched at the same time.
Bam!
At the same time, his fist met my face, and my fist met his. Pushing both of us back. Izuku groaned as I broke his nose while I snorted some blood out of my nose. But he powered through the pain and quickly rushed me, putting up his guard and throwing a solid straight that made his arm glow even more. He was putting more than 3% into that punch, but less than 20%. I could read it in his posture.
However, whatever he expected or planned for, I was not going along with. Instead of going to dodge or block, I ducked, tightened my neck and gritted my teeth before reinforcing my forehead with iron flesh at the moment of impact where his fist struck my forehead.
Thud!
"Grh!"
My head was yanked back by a violent jerk from the sudden force and felt the encroaching severe headache, but it was Izuku who was truly hurt. punching the toughest bone in the human body that was even further reinforced by Iron Flesh busted his knuckles pretty good.
Taking the opportunity, I advanced into his guard and threw a jab at his side, connecting squarely with his ribs. But then, I was suddenly hit with a massive blast of wind that felt like a car crash that sent me back. I righted myself midair and managed to land while still in the bounds of the stadium and saw the busted finger of Izuku which he cradled with a ferocious expression.
But he would be a fool if he thought that alone was enough for me to lay off the pressure. I returned to his flank as fast as I left it. He pointed another finger my way, but I shifted to his back and kicked his calf, sending him to the floor. He was 10 years too early if he wanted to beat me in a brawl, and he seemed to know that, as he instead smashed apart a tile before he grabbed a piece of debris from it and flicked his fingers.
"Maine... Smash!"
Crack! Woosh!
"Tsk!"
The debris exploded like a frag grenade, and just like a frag grenade, the shards of stone pierced through my skin all over. Not deep enough to seriously harm me, but enough to hurt very fucking bad.
Just as I taught him, Izuku took the opportunity his buckshot created and drew his other arm back, it glowed a fierce orange, and I immediately recognized it as a 100% punch. And with me so close to the edge, that would no doubt throw me out.
There was no room to dodge, the angle was too awkward, so I had to do something fast. And I decided to do just that.
This will hurt like a bitch.
Gritting my teeth, in a single moment, hardened blood ripped through the soles of my feet and through my shoes before digging into the ground and creating roots to hold on just as Izuku punched.
"DETROIT SMASH!!!"
BOOOM!!!!!!!!
I felt like a shrub in a hurricane as a wave of wind that felt like a whole truck slamming into me impacted my body, my clothes tore, and my legs strained as I stood my ground. And when the wind faded, I was still standing there, without a shirt and with a fresh coat of bruise paint over my body.
Deku couldn't follow up because of the sheer pain from his shattered limb, and I did not make the mistake of letting him fire up a shot again. I rushed forward at full speed and grabbed his collar, and then with all of my strength I threw him out of bounds.
Despite his strength, he had little to no options in the air due to his lack of concentration from sheer shock. As a result, Deku's body met the grass just outside the arena with a dull thud.
""O-out of bounds!!! Izuku Midoriya has left the stage, Hakari Kotaro wins!!!""
With Present Mic's declaration, cheers so loud they deafened all other noise in the stadium erupted. I stood in the middle of it all and smirked.
It is my victory.
Then I passed out.
A/N: Momo's thighs are the best pillow there is, and Intermediate Math is... decent. Enhanced Senses is pretty good, but not the greatest, though it definitely has room for some interesting growth for sure. The rolls in this chapter were a bit mediocre but you can't roll jackpot forever, even if you are Hakari.
Hakari vs Izuku for real, both masters of harming themselves to harm the enemy. Unfortunately for Izuku, the student has not become the teacher yet. Even if he did make Hakari work really hard for his victory. What did you guys think about the conclusion to the sports festival arc and the overall arc so far? I'd love to know.
