"So you have a fruit power and a semblance?" Taiyang asked seriously.
"You COULD have both but you have a bit of a misunderstanding. Aura isn't an innate characteristic of humanity on a multiversal scale. There are other power systems that share the name but the one you have is unique to people on Remnant and thus tradeable. It not an uncommon trope honestly as his world has it and so does mine. His is called haki and the physiques people have in his world. In mine it's magic." I say calmly as I point at Whitebeard.
"So what's the actual standard for humanity across this multiverse?" Ruby asked curiously.
"Base humanity is pretty much what you would consider a normal person without their aura unlocked in your world. Lifespan of about seventy to a hundred years on average, not very strong or fast but with impressive amounts of endurance compared to animals." I said honestly.
"If you were to trade one of these noninnate things to someone else you lose it forever right?" Taiyang asked worriedly.
"Oh no, if it was something they gained AFTER birth and they could live without then yeah it's gone. But for things they were born with or would kill them to be without it makes a copy. For example aura. If you were to try and say trade your aura it would make a copy of the ability while your actual aura would be entirely unaffected. The same is true for knowledge. You could trade the skill knowledge you have about growing and training aura without your own being effected at all." I explained patiently.
"Then there shouldn't be too many issue with the idea of trading those things." he said relieved.
I nodded and waved my hand.
A large board rose from the ground with the rules of this bazaar on it.
"You all can use this knowledge to set up stalls here. I'll check in every few days or so." I said before leaving the bazaar.
I went back to studying alchemy with Flammel over the next few days as the bazaar was built up by my contacts. Rockwell didn't set up a stall since he genuinely didn't want to bother constantly needing to wrangle creatures instead of focusing on his research. Auron was too busy working through the debt he took on for the knowledge how to permanently defeat Sin to care though he did look through the stuff that was put up for sale briefly.-
David had a stall set up. The biggest one there in fact as he sold firearms, implants and small scale robots. Grindelwald did end up coming to the bazaar and eyed the Haki and physique stones up for sale on the stall Whitebeard had one of his weaker crew members running but left empty handed in the end. There was nothing he could trade for them after all, I had already taken his copies of the magic ability and skill.-
As mentioned Whitebeard set up a stall that one of his weaker crew members ran. A middle aged man named John who never went past the level of paradise pirate in terms of strength. Not weak by any means but not anywhere close to a new world veteran pirate. Not that it bothered him too much as he honestly only became a pirate in the first place to send funds back to his hometown in the east blue. As part of Whitebeards crew he got to send a steady stream of income back home so he was content with his strength.-
Isabelle drooled over all of the stalls when she eventually found the time to check out the bazaar. Not so much because any of it was really useful to her so much as because it was from worlds that she had always thought fiction. Honestly though the most popular item in the bazaar had to be the world passes. I was probably close to sixty percent sure that Whitebeard and his crew had visited a different world at least once each. In David's world I knew for a fact they had created a MASSIVE issue upon visiting.-
The cyberpunk world is not a friendly place and one of the weaker members of the crew got killed and harvested by Maelstrom while looking around the city since he had visible gold on him. The Whitebeard pirates responded with extreme prejudice. To put it mildly they leveled close to fifteen percent of the city as they crushed Maelstrom from the face of the world. One must remember that the cyberpunk world was built by humans with at most limited super powers through their chrome. The city might as well have been made of paper for how well it handled the unreasonable power of One piece pirates from a Yonko crew.-
There was some good news with that mess though as once Maelstrom was gone David was able to move fast and snap up several parcels of land before the prices rose. He then flat out hired Whitebeards crew who were missing limbs to help him level the area and construct what was basically a fortress there. This not only allowed him to scale up production but also remain protected as even Rogue admitted that cracking open his now bunker to get him would be basically a suicide mission.-
David hadn't limited himself to the stuff that everyone else had when he built the defenses but used black tech from beyond the Blackwall that he had rattling around his head thanks to the specimen implant. Laser grids, nanobot swarms that looked like a cloud of dust but could reduce a man to bones in seconds, all sorts of nasty stuff that sat between him and anyone stupid enough to think they had a chance to even see him without permission.
