Once I was good and safe I entered the Bazaar. As the owner and source of the bazaar I had a few privileges that no one else had. The first was naturally that when I entered it I fully entered it. There was no lingering magic doorway back to my world. This meant that no one in my world could find the doorway and enter here without permission unlike with everyone else. The second was that if there was competition for an item being sold I always got priority, basically if I and someone else wanted the same item and I paid fairly I'd always get it.-
The third was that I could pay to go to any world I wanted to through the bazaar even if that contact of mine had no stall set up. The coins I paid for this trip would wait in the bazaar for whenever they came into it again. Like they were banked for later almost. The fourth was that I could flat out ban people from the bazaar if I wanted to. Like if for some gods awful reason Whitebeard were to allow a celestial dragon into the bazaar and they acted like you would expect them to I could directly ban them.-
Bans meant they could dig a trench with their faces pressed against the doorways to the bazaar and they wouldn't make even an inch of progress in. It also meant they'd get violently flung out of the bazaar the moment the ban hit. I had the rules for what would get you banned on the board I left in here specifically so no one could claim ignorance unless they just didn't see the big damned board that stood out like a sore thumb.-
I earned a few looks when I showed up but by now anyone in the bazaar was aware roughly of what I looked like and kept a respectful distance. Most of these people were from Whitebeards world at the moment as he had set up a hub for his crew and affiliated crews to access this place while he did whatever he wanted, a very pirate thing to do. The others not from that world tended to fall into two categories. The first was the Cyberpunk people. David had managed to drag Maine's crew into his orbit after they imploded without him. -
To be more specifically he drew in Rebecca, Pilar and Lucy into his orbit. Turns out Maine still met a bad end and took Dorio and Kiwi with him in the process. The other three were off doing other things at the time and managed to escape this self destruction. Rebecca knew Jackie because of the Mox gang that ran a bar he frequented. Through this connection she brought what was left under David's leadership and to little surprise at all they ended up dating. The reason was frankly hilarious too as Lucy basically gave him the cold shoulder while Rebecca hit on him openly from the start. -
Pilar frankly opted to run the stall in the Bazaar immediately and spent every moment he wasn't selling something trying the various drugs and foods that came from Whitebeards side. To put it bluntly he was the biggest source of income for me out of everyone in the Bazaar. The second category of people were from Rockwell's side of things and tended to come in, look at stuff and then leave. I ignored all this though and sent the purchase through the system for a thirty days travel pass to Remnant. A golden doorway appeared in the air in front of me and opened up to reveal a simple if cozy home on the other side.-
A girl who looked about thirteen with lilac colored eyes and long fluffy looking blonde hair looked at me through the door with a dumbfounded expression. I smiled at her and stepped through letting the door close behind me.
"Rubes your wizard friend is here!" she called towards the nearby stairs.
"REALLY!?" came an over stimulated shout from upstairs followed by a whooshing sound as a red mass of rose petals slammed into me and turned back into one excited Ruby Rose.
"Evening. I do hope I am not intruding?" I said said patting her back awkwardly.
"You didn't say you were coming! How did you get here anyways?" she asked with a confused head tilt.
"I purchased a travel pass to this world in the Bazaar. You'll get the payment when you next go there." I said calmly.
"You can do that!?" she exclaimed in shock.
"I can. No one else can but I own that space so I get special privileges." I explained simply.
"That's so cool! This is Yang, she's my sister. And that's Zwei, he's a dog. and and...." she got started excitedly before I stopped her.
"Easy. I will be in this world for the next month. No need to rush." I said with a chuckle.
Her eyes are massive at this point "REALLY!?" asked eagerly.
I nod "Yes, there are a few things I want here and besides those Grimm this place is fairly relaxed. By my standards at least." I say honestly.
"Sleep over! Best day ever!" she said excitedly before rushing off.
"Excitable thing isn't she?" I asked with a grin.
"You get used to it. Are you really a wizard?" Yang said curiously.
"In training but yes." I say with a nod.
