The specialized strength contained in those tentacles was enough to shove a tank out of position, yet it couldn't make Saitama's body sway even a fraction.
"Looks messy," Saitama commented. Then his arms started to exert force!
"Up!"
With that low shout, Saitama grabbed those two tentacles and actually yanked the five-meter-tall, immeasurably heavy monstrosity up as easily as if he were swinging a rag doll!
Whoooosh—!!!
The out-of-control Venom was dragged along by that overwhelming force, its entire body completely unable to resist as it spun wildly in midair! Its other tentacles flailed uselessly, trying to latch onto something to anchor itself, but Saitama's spinning was too fast—the centrifugal force was terrifying!
Puchi! Puchi! Puchi!
Under the horrifying tearing power produced by the high-speed rotation, the symbiote's newly tentacles were whipped off one after another by sheer force! Black symbiote fragments sprayed everywhere like rain.
In just a few seconds, Saitama spun Venom in place more than ten times. By the time he slowed down, Venom's massive body had shrunk by several full sizes. Nearly all of the vicious tentacles on its back had been flung off, leaving only a bald main body—and the two tentacles still in Saitama's hands (and even those were about to snap).
The out-of-control Venom was spun so dizzy that even its roar turned into meaningless whimpering. Saitama casually tossed it onto the ground like he was throwing out trash.
Pajii—!!
Venom collapsed onto the floor, its body twitching and contracting violently. The black symbiote matter wriggled in an extremely unstable way, and in the end it couldn't maintain its form at all. It rapidly peeled away from Eddie Brock's body, shrinking into a small puddle of black slime that looked like it had lost all vitality. Eddie fainted again—his breathing was weaker this time, but at least he was no longer bonded to the symbiote.
Doctor Strange and Spider-Man stared at the scene in front of them, speechless for a long time. That terrifying monster they had been on full alert for—one they couldn't subdue even after a hard fight—was, in Saitama's hands, treated like a piece of clothing that got stained… and then got "wrung" clean...
Saitama dusted off his hands, glanced at the puddle of black slime and the unconscious Eddie, and said to the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents who rushed over, "This… please deal with it. Don't let it run out again. It's annoying."
After saying that, he yawned, turned around, and walked toward the exit. "Sleepy. Going home."
Spider-Man and Doctor Strange exchanged a look. In each other's eyes, they saw the same emotion: a deep shock like the word "power" needed to be redefined from scratch
And a faint sense of relief… relief that this bald guy was on their side.
After dealing with consecutive supernatural threats—alien insect swarms, underground worms, Frost Giants, and an out-of-control symbiote—Saitama's life finally entered a relatively peaceful stretch. Even though days without monsters were a bit boring, being able to quietly read manga at home, wait for Genos to come clean, and eat hotpot together was still pretty nice.
That day, Genos suggested they go to the city museum to see a newly opened exhibition—"Lost Civilization: Treasures of the Ancient Kitalia Kingdom." Supposedly, archaeologists had discovered the ruins of a lost ancient nation deep in the desert, unearthing large quantities of exquisite golden artifacts and stone carvings. Genos believed this could help them understand ancient technology and civilization (maybe even provide inspiration from ancient sources for cyborg modification). And when Saitama heard the words "free admission," plus the fact that there was a newly opened conveyor-belt sushi place near the museum that supposedly had huge discounts, he happily agreed.
