Chapter 835 - Chapter 835

The water's surface rippled. Aquaman, Arthur Curry, popped up beside Saitama, riding a swordfish. He stared in shock at the catfish corpse sinking toward the riverbed, then looked back at Saitama floating nearby—without even wearing an oxygen mask.

Arthur couldn't help asking the question he'd been holding in since earlier. "You… how are you even breathing underwater? And moving like that?"

Saitama wiped the water off his face and answered like it was the most natural thing in the world. "Huh? I'm just holding my breath normally. Alright, problem solved—can we go back up now? My clothes are soaked."

Arthur stared at him, mouth opening slightly, then finally swallowed all the questions he still had. He realized that trying to discuss science or common sense with this man was, in itself, an unreasonable act. Silently, he directed the water flow and gently carried Saitama toward the shore.

America, Wyoming—Yellowstone National Park.

This vast land was world-famous for its unique geothermal landscapes. Geysers, hot springs, and mud pots dotted the terrain, sulfur-scented steam lingering all day like the earth was breathing slowly.

But today, that breathing had become abnormally rapid and violent.

The white vapor that used to rise in thin wisps had turned into thick, scalding steam pillars, blasting violently from huge new fissures torn into the ground. The eruptions let out shrieks as piercing as a train whistle.

The earth trembled. Tourists had long been evacuated. Only a few S.H.I.E.L.D. agents remained—along with a gold-and-red figure hovering in midair.

Iron Man.

His expression beneath the faceplate was grim.

"Jarvis, subterranean energy readings are still spiking! This isn't right—this doesn't look like normal geological activity!" Tony barked into comms, while his palm repulsors aimed at the most violently heaving region below.

The ground there had cracked into a spiderweb pattern, and the center was bulging upward. Blazing red light seeped through the cracks, warping the surrounding air with heat.

"Sir, detecting a high-density mineral aggregate rapidly rising. Its energy signature… does not match any known substance," Jarvis reported calmly.

Before he could finish, a deafening boom erupted as the bulging ground completely blew apart!

Shattered rock mixed with scorching magma sprayed everywhere—and a colossal thing struggled up from deep underground.

What kind of terrifying beast was it?

Its entire body was made of cooled, solidified black magma rock—jagged and rugged, over fifty meters tall, like a moving mountain. Between the cracks of its rocky hide, red-hot lava flowed slowly like blood, radiating heat enough to melt steel.

Every time it stepped, the soil beneath its feet instantly turned into charred, glassy slag, leaving burning footprints behind.

It had no clear facial features—only a huge rock mass that served as a head, with two points of blazing white light like eyes at its center. It swept its gaze across this unfamiliar world and released a silent roar.

"Alright… looks like today's park maintenance workload is a bit heavy," Tony muttered, then attacked without hesitation.

His shoulder-mounted micro-missile pods opened. Several high-explosive missiles streaked in with trails of flame, slamming precisely into the monster's chest. At the same time, his palm-mounted focused beam cannons fired at maximum output, thick energy beams smashing into the giant.

Rumble—rumble—rumble!

Explosions and shockwaves engulfed the monster's upper body.

But when the smoke cleared, the beast only swayed slightly. The blasted rock showed only a few pale scorch marks—quickly covered over by freshly flowing lava. It was practically unharmed.
