Chapter 1 Not so Gentleman
A month had passed since Yhustel reclaimed his family and accepted a new daughter.
Peace sat over the world like a fragile blanket. No servants of the Demon Lord. No shadows crawling near the Seal of Eternity.
Everyone believed things were finally normal.
Everyone except Wraith.
She alone remembered what had been changed, what had been lost, and what price had already been paid. She kept it buried. No warnings. No confessions. No one could even imagine what she carried behind that smile.
The morning was calm. Almost suspiciously so.
The Seal of Eternity stood untouched. No creature dared approach it anymore. The guardian stationed there was worse than a nightmare itself.
---
In the forest
Strom and Wraith walked side by side beneath the tall trees, sunlight filtering through leaves.
They were collecting herbs for Sam that he ask for.
Originally, Strom planned to come alone.
Wraith joined anyway. Not because the herbs mattered. Because he did.
On their way back, a shallow pool of water blocked the path. Nothing dangerous. Barely noticeable.
Wraith (mock-serious): "So… I guess you won't let a girl walk through water, right?"
Strom (dry): "Water gives you powers, Miss!. Walk. It's not lava."
Wraith (offended): "Really? You'll let a girl do that?'
Strom (annoyed): "Then what the hell do you want from me?"
Wraith answered by throwing herself straight at him.
Strom caught her instinctively, arms locked around her. Instead of stepping into the water, he casually walked around it, boots staying perfectly dry.
Wraith (blinking): "I thought you'd walk through the water while holding me."
Strom (proud): "I love my shoes more than you."
Wraith (stunned): "…What?"
Strom (dead serious): 'Three months of saving money. Limited collection. Premium leather. Golden lines. Silver heel cover. Ultra-rare design. I'm not drowning these for romance. Absolutely not."
Wraith dropped from his arms and stood on her own feet, face burning red.
Wraith (hurt): "I didn't expect this from you."
Strom (shrugging): "Not-so-gentleman, by the way."
Wraith (angry): "Idiot."
They continued walking.
---
At the house
Chaos greeted them instantly.
Astrid was holding Sam by the collar, lifting him off the ground.
Sam (panicking): "It's just a game! It's literally just a game!"
Astrid (furious): "How dare you to win?!"
Dravyss sat nearby, arms crossed, fully entertained. Watching chaos was apparently a favorite hobby of middle-aged women.
Strom (concerned): "Easy, Astrid. What happened?"
Astrid (ranting): "This brat won easily. I'm telling you, Strom, he's using black magic on the dice. Six after six, then five! That's illegal luck!'
Wraith (accusing): "Cheater, Sam!"
Sam (defensive): "I'm just lucky as hell. Nothing new."
Strom, sensing opportunity, casually added fuel to conversion fire.
Strom (smirking): "A guy who falls in mud every rainy season can't be that lucky."
That did it.
Astrid's rage hit its peak.
Astrid (exploding): "You small rat!"
PUNCH!!!!.
Sam flew straight into the couch near Dravyss. She calmly placed a blanket over him.
Dravyss (soft): "Sweet dreams, Sam."
Astrid cracked her knuckles (calmly dangerous): "I need a different game to cool down."
Wraith (quickly): "Do whatever you want. Just don't ask me."
Astrid turned slowly (sweet smile): "Hey, Strom. How about a game of chess?'
Strom froze.
Eyes narrowed.
Legs trembling.
Karma had arrived early.
He remembered clearly.
He caused Astrid to punch Sam.
And now… if he won— ☠️
Chapter 2 – The Nightmare
Night swallowed the world.
Everyone slept peacefully.
Except her.
The dream did not arrive loudly.
It did not need to.
The air itself became heavy. Breathing felt wrong. The silence pressed down like hands on the throat.
Wraith stood still in her own dream.
She already knew.
The Shadow is here.
Demon Lord (voice echoing from everywhere): "You have to do this."
Wraith (calm, alert): "How are you even able to talk with me?"
Demon Lord: "I can speak to any demon. Anyone who carries demonic power. And you… carry far more than you pretend."
Wraith: "Why are you here?"
Demon Lord (cold amusement): "You are a demon. You must obey my words. Free me!.'
Wraith (firm): "I won't."
The darkness twisted.
Demon Lord: "You belong to one of the strongest demon kinds ever born… and you waste yourself on humans. On a man who loves his things more than you."
Wraith (anger rising): "Try harder."
Demon Lord (offering): "Listen to me, Wraith! Strom is human. This world will never accept what you are. I can give you more power. I can give you a demon partner. Someone stronger. Someone better looking. Someone who would never insult you."
Wraith (voice sharp): "I didn't love him first."
The darkness stilled.
Wraith: "His presence did it. His care did it. Even if he jokes, even if he's stupid sometimes, I know he wouldn't hesitate a second to die for me. The kind of love is something you will never understand. Never. Ever."
Silence.
Then—
Demon Lord (low, threatening): "You will regret this choice."
The pressure vanished.
Wraith woke up breathing heavily, sweat, but her eyes were steady.
---
In the endless void, the Demon Lord stood alone.
Demon Lord (to himself): "So… my plan worked once. And you rewrote the past."
Demon Lord( His gaze narrowed): "You became the reason for my defeat… but you also sacrificed something precious. And that was your greatest mistake ever."
When talking to Wraith, The Demon Lord has dug in her memories and found everything she hid from others.
---
Far away on Earth, in a place where sunlight refused to enter, a human-shaped figure stood motionless. Empty. Like its soul had already been torn out.
The darkness arrived and the air shift heavy.
Demon Lord (manipulating): "I have a better plan."
Morvexa (voice hollow): "Who are you?"
Demon Lord: "Are you interested in my name… or my deal?"
Morvexa : "The deal?."
Demon Lord: "You survive by possessing bodies. Feeding on fear. Hiding because you are weak. Waiting like a parasite. Pathetic."
Morvexa (snapping): "Say what you want and get the hell out of my face."
Demon Lord: "What if I told you that you could possess everyone on this planet? Countless bodies. Endless fear. Unlimited nightmares."
Silence for a moment.
Morvexa (intrested): "Continue."
Demon Lord: "Do one thing for me. I'll give you power in return."
Morvexa (dark smile): "You don't know who you're giving orders to. Those who know my name don't even stand in front of me."
Power surged. Teleportation. Strength. Black magic twisted deeper into her core.
Demon Lord: "Possess her. Break her slowly. Let everyone around her lose everything before she dies."
Morvexa :"Name?"
Demon Lord: "Wraith."
Morvexa (laughing softly): "Countless souls are coming."
The darkness closed.
Chapter 3 – Why Didn't You Tell Me!!!
Morning light spilled quietly into the backyard.
Wraith stood alone, watering the plants, her movements slow, her mind loud.
The last voice she remembered wasn't just a dream.
It was him.
The Demon Lord.
Something about it felt wrong. Too deliberate. Too close.
Behind the bushes, inside the shadows, a figure watched.
Morvexa.
Her eyes glimmered with hunger, greed twisting her expression as she studied the lone figure in the garden.
From this angle, she could only see Wraith's back. The blue skin was hidden. The truth unseen.
Morvexa took a step forward.
Then froze.
She smells something familiar but fearful at the same time.
Fear started rippled through her body.
Morvexa (whispering, shaken): "Why… does it smell like Aurora's blood?"
Wraith's ears twitched.
Even that whisper was too loud to her.
She turned.
Wraith (confused): "How do you know about my mother?"
Morvexa's eyes widened.
Not anger.
Not shock.
But Pure terror...
Morvexa (voice trembling): "Your mother....?"
In the next heartbeat, the air cracked.
Morvexa vanished.
Gone so fast it felt like she had never existed.
Wraith (muttering still confused): "Bitch, maybe?"
She shook her head and returned to her work, unaware of what was coming next.
---
Later – In the Endless Darkness
A void without time.
A presence without mercy.
Demon Lord (mocking): "So you crawled back in fear, huh?"
Morvexa emerged from the shadows, rage barely containing her panic.
Morvexa (furious): "Why didn't you tell me she's Aurora's daughter?!"
Demon Lord (calm, amused): "A little surprise for you."
Morvexa (snapping): "A surprise?! You wanted me dead! Her blood alone was enough to erase me from existence!"
Demon Lord (unbothered): "Relax. She can't harm you."
Morvexa (eyes narrowing): "And how the hell is that possible?"
Demon Lord (smiling): "Because she doesn't have her blood magic anymore."
Silence.
Morvexa (slowly): "You're not lying… right?"
Demon Lord: "One hundred percent pure truth."
A twisted grin spread across her face.
Morvexa (dark laughter): "Then she's just an innocent deer walking into the land of wolves."
Demon Lord (pleased): "Exactly. Now go. Complete your work."
Morvexa (turning away): "She will die."
The Demon Lord's tone shifted.
Sharp. Intentional.
Demon Lord: "Don't kill her."
Morvexa stopped (confused): "What?"
Demon Lord (cold): "Possess her. Use her body. Destroy everything she loves. Let everyone abandon her. Let's hope rot."
A pause...
Demon Lord (lower, venomous): "Then kill her in front of Yhustel."
Morvexa: "Who is Yhustel?"
Demon Lord: "You'll know soon. Just follow my order for now."
Morvexa (smiling cruelly): "Oh… you want her alone. Don't worry. I'll destroy everything. Even her shadow will leave her."
Demon Lord: "Good."
Morvexa dissolved into darkness.
The Demon Lord's smile stretched wider… and wider… until the void itself felt afraid.
---
Lore – Aurora
Once, Morvexa had a physical body.
A nightmare incarnate.
Unmatched. Unchallenged.
She possessed bodies freely. Killed without consequence show no mercy.
Until one day, she possessed a blue demon.
That demon never returned and villagers cried to their queen.
Aurora.
When Aurora found Morvexa, she didn't threaten her.
She didn't fight her.
She opened herself freely.
Aurora allowed Morvexa to possess her.
Royal blue blood surged.
In an instant, Morvexa's physical body was erased.
Her power collapsed.
Her existence shattered.
From that day onward, Morvexa became a parasite type sprite. A shadow. A survivor who fed only when necessary.
And above all else…
She feared Aurora more than anything.
---
The True Plan of the cosmic shadow:-
The Demon Lord knows two truths:
—Morvexa is still powerful.
—Wraith is no longer protected by royal blood magic.
He doesn't want Wraith dead.
He wants her broken.
Because if Wraith dies because of his mind then…
Yhustel will lose himself again.
And when Yhustel loses control then he'll break the Seal of Eternity by himself.
And the Demon Lord Will return again...
Chapter 4 – The Silence
That very night, Morvexa moved.
She slipped through Strom's house like a breath that didn't belong to the world. No doors creaked. No shadows shifted.
Inside Wraith's room, moonlight spilled softly across the floor. Wraith slept peacefully. Astrid snored like thunder on the next bed.
Morvexa (in her mind): "Now my play begins."
She entered Wraith.
For a heartbeat, Wraith's eyes opened.
Pure black.
Then normal again.
Wraith rose from the bed, silent. Her steps were lighter than feathers, quieter than anything. She crossed the room, slipped outside, and vanished into the fog.
---
Morning came.
Everyone woke up.
Everything looked normal.
Wraith was there too. Laughing. Breathing. Alive.
She wasn't possessed anymore. Even without her blood magic, Morvexa couldn't hold her forever.
Yet something felt wrong.
Something quiet.
Sam (excited): "Hey guys! It's a party of eagles!"
Astrid (squinting): "Yeah. A big group. Definitely a party."
Strom stared toward the distant jungle. The way the eagles circled didn't feel right. His expression shifted in seconds.
Strom (cold): "That's not a party."
Sam (offended because Strom is serious again): "Then tell us, genius. What are they doing?"
Astrid (annoyed): "Yeah, Strom explains that shit!."
He didn't look away.
Strom (low): "Meat."
Silence fell because it made sense.
Eagles don't gather for fun.
They moved toward the jungle with every step, Wraith felt heavier. A pressure behind her eyes. A sensation crawling through her chest. It felt like she had been there before.
But she couldn't remember.
Minutes later, they found it.
A corpse.
A human body torn apart. Blood everywhere. Flesh ripped, skin shredded, claw marks carved deep. It didn't look like an animal's work.
Astrid (uneasy): "An animal… maybe?"
Sam (frowning): "If it was an animal, why didn't it eat? Why just kill?"
Wraith stayed silent.
Her hands trembled slightly.
Strom didn't kneel. Didn't touch the body. He didn't need to.
In the very first glance, he recognized the pattern.
The claw marks.
Wraith's claws.
His jaw tightened.
He said nothing.
Because he trusted her more than his own eyes.
And the silence grew heavier than any scream.
Chapter 5 – He Was Right
When they reached home, a heavy silence hung in the air. Everyone was unsettled by what they had seen in the forest, but Wraith stayed quiet—because she knew she had been there. Strom was equally silent, knowing the same, yet choosing to trust her.
Astrid broke the silence Frist.
Astrid: "But my question is… what was that man doing there?"
Strom: "Yes… you're right. It's the middle of the forest, no one should be there."
Sam: "But he was there. There are only two possible explanations."
Wraith: "What?"
Sam: "First… the world has more strange things than we can imagine. Midnight in the forest is perfect for… alcohol or black magic."
Strom: "And the second?"
Sam: "Seducing."
Wraith: "What?"
Sam: "Yes! That forest is rumored for cannibals—beautiful women lure people to their deaths."
Astrid: "But why didn't they eat him?"
Sam: "Exactly… that's why I'm not sure."
Wraith, however, just lowered her head slightly, a small, almost joyful smile playing on her lips
Strom noticed her expression and stiffened. Something was off.
---
Later that night, Wraith's body moved again, controlled by Morvexa. She silently slipped out into the fog. Strom, who couldn't sleep, followed—every step calculated, careful, silent.
The trail led to the clearing where the corpse lay. Strom froze.
Wraith—black eyes flashing, claws stained red—sat beside the body, frozen in predatory calm.
And the most terrifying and unexpected thing is that her mouth was covered with blood because she was eating that corpse.
Strom (shocked,shouting): "WRAITH!"
She leapt toward him, but Strom was faster. He dodged, his heart pounding. When she ran and vanished before he could even catch her.
By the time he returned home, Wraith was asleep in her bed, peaceful and unaware. Strom couldn't. He sat in the dark, haunted.
Strom (whispering to himself): "This… can't be real."
Next Day—
Meanwhile, in the morning, Astrid entered the bathroom and screamed.
Astrid: "STROM!!!"
Rushing in, they found the bucket meant for water… full of blood.
Strom's eyes darkened. He knew.
Wraith took a step back, uneasy, fragments of memory tugging at her mind.
Sam: "Guys… we need to solve this fast. Whoever did this is challenging us."
Astrid: "But how could someone dare to enter the house when we're all here?"
Strom (cold, steady): "Magic… or someone far faster and quieter than we expect."
Sam: "A new villain?"
Strom (gaze lingered on the bucket. His jaw tightened): "Or… someone we already know."
Chapter 6 – The Nightmare
Wraith was sitting silently in her room when a sharp headache began ripping through her mind and after that.
The door opened...
Strom stepped inside, but something about his expression felt wrong. Cold. Distant.
Strom (softly): "Why are you doing this?"
Wraith (confused): "What?"
Strom: "Don't lie, Wraith. I know you are the reason behind all this."
Wraith: "Strom, I really don't know what you're talking about."
Strom: "Oh? Then what is this?"
He pulled something from his pocket.
It wasn't a normal item.
An earring...
Wraith's earring.
Stained with blood.
Strom (firm) : "I found this near the corpse in the jungle. Now tell me… what were you doing there?"
Wraith (breaking inside): "Are you really blaming me for this?!"
Strom: "Wraith, there's no way I can ignore it. That corpse had your claw marks. And last night… I saw you eating—"
Wraith (cutting him off): "Enough, Strom! I'm telling you I don't know anything! You're blaming me, and this damn headache"
Strom: "That's not an answer."
Wraith (tears forming): "Then I don't know."
Strom (coldly): "I'll figure it out."
He turned and left the room.
Wraith clutched her head as the pain grew worse. Her body trembled.
She coughed again and again until blood spilled from her mouth.
Wraith (whispering): "What's happening to me…?"
---
In the library, Strom searched for any clue about blue demons.
Cannibalism. Flesh. Instinct.
But every book gave the same answer.
No.
No record.
No legend.
No evidence of blue demons eating humans.
Strom's patience shattered.
He had seen Wraith do it.
But the truth refused to exist on paper.
In frustration, he punched the wall.
Kicked the table.
Books fell across the floor.
He walked away, breathing hard.
Strom (rage): "What is happening to her?!"
---
Later that night
Everyone was asleep.
Except Strom.
Except Wraith.
Wraith sat alone in her room, lost in her thoughts.
Strom stood in the hall, his mind replaying the same horrific scene from the previous night.
Then he saw her.
Wraith quietly walked toward the door.
Without a sound, Strom followed her.
Suddenly, Wraith sprinted forward at full speed.
Too fast.
She vanished into the fog.
Strom: "No… wait!"
He ran straight to the forest but when he reached the corpse spot, it was empty.
Only scraps remained, half-eaten by animals… and by someone he loved.
Strom searched for Wraith, but she was gone or didn't come here.
Moments later, he returned home.
Then he felt it.
Someone was coming.
He turned.
A figure walked toward him, holding a burning lantern.
It was Wraith.
She walked calmly, the lantern burning in her hand and something was dripping from her body.
As she came closer, the smell hit him.
Kerosene...
Wraith stood in front of him, smiling.
The smile felt innocent… and terrifying at the same time.
Wraith (no emotions): "You know, Strom… I saw a nightmare."
Strom (heart pounding): "What nightmare?"
Wraith: "Something I don't like."
Strom (realizing): "Wraith… no."
Wraith: "You failed to save me!"
She dropped the lantern.
But before the fire could even touch her, Strom yanked her away, dragging her back from the flames.
Wraith collapsed in his arms.
Unconscious.
Breathing, but her eyes stayed shut.
Strom (hands shaking): "Wraith… Wraith, no. Please."
Silence.
---
Next morning when Wraith opened her eyes.
The smell of kerosene still lingered.
The first thing she saw was everyone standing around her.
Strom (snapping): "What the hell happened to you?!"
Wraith: "Strom… I... I really don't know."
Sam: "Wraith, please don't lie. Tell me… did you really kill that man in the jungle?"
Wraith lowered her eyes.
She knew she was there.
But she remembered nothing.
Astrid: "And you're the one who put blood in the bucket, right?"
Wraith: "Astrid, believe m—"
Strom (cutting her off): "Believe you? Do you even know what you've become? You don't know what you were doing."
Dravyss: "Wraith… is something happening to you?, you can tell me child."
Wraith collapsed for a moment.
Then she suddenly stood up.
She walked toward her room, the same twisted smile from last night spreading across her face.
Wraith: "I don't fucking care about you insects."
Chapter 7 – Fracture
Everyone sat in the hall, stunned by what they had just witnessed.
The air felt heavy.
Then Sam remembered something.
Strom hadn't slept last night.
That meant he already knew something was wrong with Wraith.
And he hid it.
Sam (suddenly snapping): "STROM!"
Strom (low) : "What?"
Sam (cold) : "So you knew from the very beginning. You knew something was wrong… and you hid it from us."
Strom (trying to explain): "Listen, I was—"
Astrid (cutting him off): "No, you listen. Who do you think you are? We're all here to help. We all love Wraith, not just you. And when you find out what she was doing… you kept it to yourself."
Strom: "I was trying to find the truth! There's no proof anywhere. Blue demons don't eat humans."
Dravyss: "You should have told us earlier."
Strom: "Mom, please. I just needed time."
Sam: "And what about what you saw her doing?"
Strom: "Yes. I saw it. But believe me… I'll fix everything."
The hall fell silent.
They were angry at Wraith for what she had become.
And angry at Strom for hiding it from them.
Trust cracked on both sides.
---
Later, when everyone was busy with their own thoughts, Strom decided to check on Wraith.
He entered her room.
She was sitting on the bed, eyes closed, completely still.
Strom: "Wraith?"
She didn't answer.
Instead, she leaped at him.
Claws raised.
Too fast.
Her claws tore across his face, chest, shoulder. Strom wasn't trying to hurt her, only defend himself. But she didn't stop. Her strikes were sharp, wild, painful.
Blood splattered the floor.
Strom finally snapped.
In rage, he slammed her into the wall, then to the ground.
But she kept coming.
This wasn't Wraith.
Claw met fist.
Pain met fury.
Strom slammed her into the wall again, then drove a crushing punch into her face. Blinded by rage, he summoned his spear and struck straight for her chest—
But His hand stopped.
Inches before her skin.
Strom froze.
Wraith raised her arms to shield herself, trembling.
Her eyes filled with tears.
Fear flooded her face.
She wasn't attacking now.
She was begging to live.
Strom stepped back.
He didn't know what he was doing anymore.
Blood soaked the floor.
Red and blue mixed together.
Wraith (cold) : "You can't kill her, Knight!"
She stood up again and summoned her dagger. In one swift motion, she drove it into Strom's shoulder.
The presence inside her vanished instantly after that.
Before anyone could react, Dravyss entered the room.
She froze.
Her son was bleeding.
Her control shattered.
Dravyss: "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!".
She pushes Wraith back but Morvexa has already taken her again and she leaps on him again.
Dravyss grabbed Wraith by the neck and slammed her away.
Wraith (real): "Mom, please, it's not m—"
Dravyss (cutting her off, coldly): "Please; Don't call me that. I'm not your mother."
The rest of the team rushed in.
The scene was horrifying.
Wraith tried to explain, but no one listened.
Only Strom stayed silent because he was stunned.
He felt something.
Something wrong inside her and it's not natural.
But Morvexa didn't hold back she took control of her body again and rushed to Strom again.
Dravyss (panicking): "Sam, take him away."
She pushes Wraith again because even in anger she can't kill her.
Sam and Astrid dragged Strom out.
Dravyss followed, leaving Wraith injured and alone.
Wraith (sobbing): "Please… help me…"
---
In the hall, Strom struggled against them.
Strom: "She doesn't want to hurt me! Please try to understand!"
Dravyss (snapping): "Open your eyes, Strom! You know what she's become. She's losing her mind!"
Strom (pulled the dagger from his shoulder): "Something is inside her. I can feel it."
But No one listened.
Wraith stumbled into the hall, trying to reach Strom.
Dravyss shoved wraith keeping her away from her Son.
Dravyss: "You come any closer—"
Dravyss wasn't evil but she can't even imagine a world where Strom doesn't exist anymore...
Sam (panicking): "She's really trying to kill him!"
Wraith (tears falling): "Please… try to understand. It's not me."
Dravyss (blinded by rage): "I'll kill you."
She grabbed a knife from the table but Strom caught her hand mid-air.
Dravyss (anger) : "Run, Wraith. If you stay, you'll die."
Wraith didn't argue.
Hated.
Terrified.
Broken.
She turned and ran away.
Strom tried to follow, but Astrid yanked him back.
Astrid (angry): "Wake up, Strom!"
Strom (shouting): "LEAVE ME ALONE!"
He broke free.
Ignoring everyone, Strom ran after Wraith.
Chapter 8 – The Breaking Point
Strom was following Wraith in the street.
Both of them were injured.
Neither of them was truly running.
Wraith was still faster, but her strength was fading fast. Strom pushed himself forward, refusing to stop.
They passed through the edge of the village.
Whispers exploded.
People froze as they saw Strom bleeding heavily, his clothes soaked red.
And Wraith… she didn't hide anymore.
Her blue skin was visible.
Her truth was exposed.
Fear spread faster than fire.
Now everyone knows the truth.
Wraith is a blue demon.
Strom tried to call out to her, tried to stop her, but she didn't listen. Her heart was already shattered by what she had seen, by what she had heard.
She didn't stop until they reached the same forest.
The same place.
The ground where the corpse was found.
Her legs finally gave up and Wraith collapsed onto the cold earth.
Strom reached her a little moments later (desperate): "Wraith, please!"
Wraith (broken): "Go away. I don't need anyone. If my own kind can abandon me, then who you humans are to care about me?"
Strom: "You know Dravyss… she's too protective. You know how she is."
Wraith (bitter): "I didn't sacrifice my powers for this. I loved everyone, but none of you have ever loved me."
Strom: "That's not true."
Wraith (voice shaking): "It is true, Strom!. No one loves me because I'm a demon. But listen to me… I also have a heart. I also feel pain. I also deserve to be loved. But this world never gave me that."
Strom (convincing her): "Wraith, you are our heart."
Wraith (laughing through tears): "I'm just a blue bitch who deserves to rot alone until death. That's my truth. Now leave me alone."
Strom: "No. I won't."
Wraith: "Get out of here. I don't know what's happening to me. If something happens to you, everyone will blame me again."
Strom (dropped to his knees beside her): "I'm not leaving you. Not at any cost."
Wraith (angry, wounded): "You're one of them too. You also blamed me. None of you ever listened. None of you ever tried to understand me."
Strom reached for her hand.
She shoved him away.
Wraith: "Stay away… or I don't know what I'll do."
Strom (firm): "Enough."
He grabbed her hand and tried to pull her up.
She resisted.
Strom didn't listen.
He lifted her into his arms.
Wraith struggled weakly.
Wraith: "Leave me Strom or You'll regret this."
Strom: "Leaving you is the only thing I'd regret."
Wraith (quiet, painful): "When we reach home, you'll be fine. But remember… everyone fears me. Deep inside, they all believe I'll kill you one day. That's why they blame me so easily."
Strom: "You said you sacrificed your powers. What do you mean?"
Wraith: "Just Leave it."
Strom: "No. Tell me."
She took a deep breath and after that She told him about her past.
About the choice she made.
About what she lost.
After the cold truth Strom changed direction of his way.
Wraith: "Where are we going?"
Strom: "Somewhere safe."
---
Later they reached the place Strom trusted most.
The Cave Forge.
Strom gently placed Wraith on a large stone and tried to heal her with water.
Nothing happened.
She no longer had that power to heal through water.
Wraith: "I told you… it's my fault."
Strom: "No. It's mine."
For a moment, there was peace.
Then her presence shifted.
Her eyes turned hollow.
The air grew heavy.
Morvexa again.
Wraith (possessed, mocking): "So now you know the truth."
Strom (cold): "You again."
Wraith: "Yes. And tell me… how is my play?"
Strom: "Get out of her body."
Wraith: "No. I need a body to live."
Strom: "Take mine. Leave her."
Wraith (laughing): "You think I'm stupid? Your body is strong. Your mind is stronger. I won't survive inside you."
Strom: "Why are you doing this?!"
Wraith: "Because I love it. The helplessness. The fear. The way you suffer for her. That feeling is insane it feeds me."
Strom: "You're a monster. You made her do this. You turned everyone against her."
Wraith: "Yes. And you will lose this love."
Strom: "I won't let you win."
Strom grabbed a chain from the forge.
He wrapped one end around Wraith's arm.
The other around his own.
Locking them together.
One chain.
Strom: "I won't leave her."
Wraith (Morvexa, smiling): "You can't save her."
To be continued...
