Jay's POV
We reached the base soon. We all got out of the car and went inside.
Godfather: jay and the whole team, go get ready, the ceremony is going to start soon. Ur clothes r in ur room. The rest of u should get ready should get ready for the party.
Keifer: r we going to be there for the ceremony?
Godfather: rules r rules son. Inner circle members only but the mark will be revealed in the after party. U can see it there. Now go or else we'll be late.
Jay: yes godfather.
We all went to our rooms and quickly changed into our clothes.
I wore a black bodycon dress with thin straps and a thigh long slit on one leg paired with heels. I also did some light makeup and tried my hair in a ponytail. I also wore keifer's necklace
( For better understanding, I'm talking about the dress ashtine wore when she did the Gabriella dance trend in that parking lot after a mall show with rabgel and GAT )
Keifer wore an all black suit with no tie and black shoes, first two buttons of his shirt open as always, hair combed back but some falling freely on his forehead. He also wore a golden watch.
Keifer: r u trying to kill me by looking this good.
Jay: I can say the same to u.
Keifer: so u think I look good😏
Jay: r u kidding me, u look like a mafia king. A handsome one.
Keifer: u look no less than a mafia queen, which u actually r. U look too hot to handle.
Jay: u say that everytime I wear a dress.
Keifer: bcz u really do look so hot and I would never gat tired of saying that to u. U look beautiful even if u don't dress up. U r the most beautiful women I have ever seen my whole life.
Jay( blushing ): stop saying stuff like that.
Keifer: why would I stop when everytime I do u turn red as a tomato🤭
Jay: if u r done, can we go now. The ceremony is about to start.
Keifer: I'm not leaving before I get my kiss😗
He didn't even give me a chance to process things and just leaned in and kissed me. I kissed him back. After a while we both pulled apart.
Keifer: now I'm ready to go😏
Jay( flustered ): let's go.
We went downstairs to the hall where everyone was already gathered.
The girls were in matching bodycon dresses in different colors with a slit on one side paired with heels.
Some boys wore matching black suits and shoes. While the others wore matching red suits and shoes.
Ci-n: wow! Look at our jayfer giving of mafia king and queen vibes.
Mason: that's bcz they r.
Edrix: killer dress jay.
Freya: killing it girl.
Rory: seriously, u both ate and left no crumbs.
Jay: u guys r no less yourself.
Godfather: listen up everyone.
He said grabbing everyone's attention.
Godfather: it's time for the ceremony. So let's go get u ur Mark's and then get u to ur competition. U can party after that.
Felix: competition?
Jay: after we get our mark, we have a shooting match. Winner gets to show off the mark first, cut the cake and open the champagne bottle to start the party.
Thyme: we also get to decide which game to play after the party.
Alex: a little friendly game we come up with bcz there were just too many people this time.
Godfather: ok now let's go. The rest of u can head up to the private restaurant bcz that's where the party is being held.
Ci-n: can't we go to the ceremony. Plsssssss🥺
Jay: sorry ci-n but it's a rule and I can't break it.
Godfather: ok now let's go, we r going to be late.
Me and the team followed godfather to the basement while the others went upstairs.
We entered a room where a few tattoo artists and some inner circle members were waiting for us.
We sat down on our chairs that were set in a line.
Godfather: ok so have u decided where u want ur mark.
Alex: we talked about it and decided to put it on our left arm to match with each other.
We all nodded in agreement.
Godfather: ok then, u guys ready.
" Yes godfather "
Then the tattoo artists started with there work.
It was so painful but somehow we endured it.
After a while our mark was done.
Mine was a Crown with MQ( Mafia Queen ) written on it and just below the crown was written LOL( Leader of League ).
As for the rest of them,
A circle was drawn with ICOL( Inner Circle of League ) written inside it.
Zia: cool.
Aya: I can't believe this finally happened.
Godfather: so, do u guys like it?
Jay: like it? We love it godfather.
Kent: I never thought this would happen.
Robin: I can't wait to see the others reactions.
Godfather: not so fast kids, we still have a shooting match left to determine the winner.
Mj: yes. Let's go guys.
We covered our marks. The boys covered it up by wearing there suits and us girls covered it by putting a blazer on our shoulders like a queen. I put on a red blazer.
After that we went to the shooting range upstairs. The match began, first the boys played and then the girls. From the boys team Thyme won and from the girls team I won. Then it was between me and thyme.
Jay: ready to loose thyme.
Thyme: let's see who loses.
Then we played. The scores were pretty close but in the end.... I won🥳
Jay: how about now thyme😏
Thyme: don't get too happy.
Godfather: ok now let's go upstairs before u too start ur bickering. The others must be waiting for us.
Keifer's POV
It's been more than half an hour, where is jay and the others.
Edrix: when is the party going to start.
Rory: it's been like forever.
Kit: I'm starting to get bored now.
Ci-n: atleast there is food to eat while we wait.
Kuya angelo: where the hell is jay. It's been so long.
Just then the doors of the restaurant opened and in came godfather and jay side by side followed by the rest of the team.
Jay had a red blazer on her shoulders now and had a smile on her face, the kind of smile that she used when she won something. Does that mean she won the competition?
They all came in and went straight to the little stage set up in a corner.
Jay's POV
We all came in the private restaurant and went straight to the stage that was set up.
Godfather took the mic and stood in front of us while we stood a little back from him.
Godfather: good evening everyone.
" good evening head "
Godfather: as u all know that my goddaughter jay has been appointed as the leader of the league. And today, she and her team finally got there mark as the mafia queen and the members of the inner circle.
He said looking at us all.
Godfather: jay also won the competition meaning she gets to reveal her mark first, cut the cake, open up the bottle of champagne to start of the party and choose a game to play if u want to join. So without further a do, jay jay, pls come in front and reveal ur mark to all.
I came beside jay, thanked him and then took of my blazer, showing off my mark.
They all cheered, clapped and screamed.
Then the others also showed there marks.
Again the crowd cheered, clapped and screamed.
Then they all bowed slightly in front of us to show respect to us. Section e and the others seemed a little confused by what was happening and just stared at the league members. I couldn't help but chuckle at there reactions.
After that, a massive atleast ten layer cake of red and black color was brought out. Godfather handed me the knife to cut the cake. I invited the team, section e and the rest to cut it with me.
We all cut the cake together, I took the first piece and gave it to keifer. His ears turned red and the rest started to tease us. While the rest of the league clapped.
Then everyone took an empty glass and I took a champagne bottle and opened it. Then I poured some in mine and in some others glasses. Everyone else also poured some in there glasses.
Jay( raising her glass ): To the league.
Godfather: and to new beginnings.
" Cheers "
We all had a lot of fun with drinking, eating, dancing and talking. Keifer tried to stop me from drinking but it was my night so in the end he agreed to let me drink a little.
Keifer: don't drink too much jay.
Jay: I won't.
Keifer: btw, the mark looks good on u. Did it hurt?
Jay: just a bit but it's ok.
Without a second thought, he leaned in and kissed my arm where the tattoo was.
Keifer: there. All good now.
Ci-n: look at our rom com couple guys.
Felix( shocked ): did he really just kiss her tattoo😲
Rory: ok, this is getting too cheesy for my single soul.
Mayo: someone give me some sunglasses. This couple energy is shining too bright for my eyes to bare.
Zia( excidetly ): do it again. I didn't get to film it.
Jay: stop it guys.
Robin( grinning ): never.
Thyme: I agree. This chaos is never ending.
Edrix: the word ' never ' and ' stop ' ended being in the same sentence as ' chaos ' and ' teasing ', the second u set foot in section e. U should be used to it by now.
Jay( mumbling ): and privacy.
Blaster: we heard that.
Rakki: ok but seriously jay, that mark suits u.
Ci-n: yeah but what is LOL and MQ supposed to mean?
Jay: MQ stands for MAFIA QUEEN and LOL stands for LEADER OF LEAGUE.
Kit: cool and what is INOL supposed to mean?
Mason: INOL stands for INNER CIRCLE OF LEAGUE.
Alex: it's written like this to keep it a secret from people who aren't in a gang or part of the underworld.
Mayo: oh, ok.
Mj: if u guys r done with the boring talk, can we actually enjoy this party.
Kevin: yeah, let's go drink and dance the night away. After all who knows when we will get an opportunity like this again.
Robin: yes, let's go, come on.
We all went to the dance floor and danced on some hype songs.
We danced on daleng dale, kakaiba, bling, Gabriella, milkshake and many more songs.
Then came the song Perfect by ed Sheeran.
Keifer pulled me close to him and rested his hands on my waist. I put my hands on his shoulder.
Jay( teasingly ): someone's eager to dance with me.
Keifer: always bcz u r mine and only I can dance with u.
Jay( chuckling ): u r crazy.
Keifer( smirking ): crazy in love with u😉
Jay: as u should be😫
Keifer: u look like an absolute godess today. The mark just added more points to ur hotness😘
Jay: someone's in the mood to tease today.
Keifer: when it comes to u, I always am.
Jay: I love u❤
Keifer: I love u too jay, until scientists find the end of the universe.
Then he kissed me slow, right in the middle of the dance floor surrounded by chaos which seemed to disappear whenever he was near me.
We had our fun for hours. Soon it was almost midnight. Most of the members were too drunk and went back to there rooms. Soon it was only me, the team, section e, the girls and aries left.
We decided to play a game. Since I was in charge of choosing the game, everyone started pleading to play truth or dare and I couldn't think of any other game so I just agreed with them.
We all sat down on the chairs in a big circle with a big table in the middle and spun the empty champagne bottle.
It landed on alex and he choose dare.
Mason: I dare u to drink a whole bottle of beer in one go.
Alex: ok.
And he did.
We again spun the bottle and this time it landed on kent.
He choose dare and had to dance.
The game went on, ci-n got dared to post an embarrassing pic on social media, denzel told his most embarrassing story, felix got dared to do 50 pushups and collapsed after doing 30, lia got dared to drink a shot of pure vodka, zia got dared to sing and she was actually good at it, freya kissed edrix and he turned bright red and so on...
Then it landed on me
Jay: truth.
Mj: is keifer a good kisser.
" ohhhhhh "
Jay: what type of a question is that?
Blaster: come on jay, don't be shy😝
Jay: yes.
I said and looked away. They all started to tease me and keifer while I blushed and keifer just sat back in his chair, proud and victorious smirk on his face.
After a while we started the game we spun the bottle again and it landed on keifer.
Keifer: dare.
Felix: say something spicy to jay to make her blush.
Keifer: ok.
He came close to me and whispered something in my ear which instantly turned me bright red and I smacked his shoulder.
Felix: hey that's cheating.
Keifer: u didn't say how I'm supposed to say it.
Kit: what did he say.
Jay: I'm not tell u guys.
Mica: come on jay, tell us.
Jay: there's no way I'm saying that.
Thyme: fine let's just move on.
After a couple of rounds it again landed on me.
Jay: dare.
Kevin: kiss and bite keifer on the neck.
Jay: what?😱
Mj: u have to do it😏
I looked at keifer who was already looking me while grinning wide.
Jay: fine.
He immediately leaned in. I leaned in as well and kissed and bit him on the neck, leaving a love bite on his neck.
I pulled back and looked away. Aries was glaring at us both while the others were grinning, some were even filming us.
Ci-n: oh man, this is so going on my social media account.
Edrix: mine too. With # Jayfer written in bold letters.
Jay( glaring ): don't u dare post this anywhere.
Rory: too late. Already done.
Jay: what?
Rory: yep.
Aries: let's move on to the next round.
This time it landed on keifer again.
Keifer: truth.
Mayo: ok I got one. During our game on prom night, u said that ur first kiss was ion and that she was also engaged to u. What's the story man?
Keifer: I don't think this is the place to talk about it.
Drew: come on man, it's just us here.
Jay: can we pls not talk about it!!!
Keifer: r u ok jay?
Jay( fake smile ): I'm fine.
Ci-n: ok then why can't we talk about it?
Aries: u fools, can't u see that jay is clearly hurt by this topic and doesn't want to talk about it. Just change the question, stupid.
Mica: r u really ok jay?
Jay: I'm fine. I just don't like talking or hearing about this topic.
Josh: but u seemed fine when we asked about it the other day.
Thyme: shut up u fool. She was clearly making her emotions like she always does.
Tony: it's ok jay, we can just change the question, right guys?
Mayo: yeah absolutely.
Aya: ok I have one, when r u planning to propose to jay.
Ci-n: ohhh, that's a good one.
Keifer: I want to do it as soon as possible but I won't if Jay's not ready for it. Ik she said that she wants to study and work before marraia8and I respect her decisions.
Thyme: well, u can get engaged and then marry later. It doesn't have to be soon.
Keifer: if Jay's ok with it, then I'm ok with it too. I don't want to rush her into anything she's not ready for.
He said looking at me and then held my hand under the table. I looked at him, his eyes were filled with love and warmth, I squeezed his hand under the table.
The atmosphere seemed to get better after that. We played till 1 am and then decided call it a night. We were just leaving the restaurant when my phone buzzed.
I took it out and saw that I had a message from an unknown number. I opened it.
💌unknown number:
Tomorrow, 7 pm sharp, same place outside the city. Have one more day to prepare all u want but it's going to be of no use. See u there jaybird.
Keifer: what is it jay.
Jay: huh.
Keifer: u have been staring at ur phone for a while now.
Mason: what's wrong jay.
Jay: roy texted me. The fight is tomorrow at 7 pm at the old grounds.
Thyme: so we have today to prepare then.
Jay: yeah. Everyone, get up early. We don't have much time left to prepare now.
" Ok jay "
Jay: let's go sleep now.
We all left the restaurant and went to our rooms. Me and keifer changed into our night ware and slept side by side while cuddling with each other.

Now some bad news for u guys☹
I'm totally swamped with my studies, projects, tests and family. I'm literally drained both physically and mentally for days now. I tried to write whenever I get the time plus read my supporters and other authors books which I'm 💯 amazed and impressed with🤩.
I try to write some chapters in advance and then keep on perfecting them in case I'm too busy and don't have time to write but now I'm kinda having a writer's block😅 and my brain is not cooperating with me to come up with good ideas and content to write. I have been building up to this fight for I don't even know how long now and I feel like I owe it to u guys to make it absolutely perfect and I do have some ideas on what should happen after the fight but my brain is blank when it comes to writing the content of the fight bcz there r so many people in the fight and something needs to go wrong in order for what I have planned in mind to happen and I do have something in mind but i just need some time to write it and figure out this writer block situation and deal with my studies and stuff. So I'm going to take a little break from writing and just be a supporter for the time being. Don't worry I won't leave u guys hanging for long. I'll try to upload a chapter maybe before or during or after my diwali break I don't really know right now.
