Keifer's POV
I woke up when the sunlight hit my face. I instinctively reached out for jay, only to find that I was alone on the bed. The sheets cold beside me. I guess she was up for a while but where is she?
Keifer: jay.
No reply. Just silence.
I freshened up and went downstairs to look for her. Everyone was up and busy eating their breakfast. Everyone except jay.
Keifer: hey, has anyone seen jay?
Thyme: yeah, she's in the boxing room beating the punching bag to a pulp.
Zia: we tried to get her to eat her breakfast first but she said she would eat later so we just let her be.
Keifer: thanks guys.
I went to the boxing room and found jay there, busy punching and kicking a punching bag.
Keifer: jay.
She got startled a bit and turned to look at me.
Jay: what r u doing here?
Keifer: looking for u. U weren't beside me and u didn't eat ur breakfast yet too.
Jay: I just had a lot on my mind. The fight is tomorrow so I just wanted to prepare.
Keifer: u wanna talk about it.
Jay: there is nothing to talk about.
Keifer( raising one eyebrow ): u sure. Nothing other than the fight on ur mind. Not even last night or ion.
She froze.
Jay: I don't want to talk about it right now. Just go eat ur food. I have to train first.
Keifer: that doesn't mean u should starve yourself. Come on, let's eat first then we all can train together.
Jay: I'm not in the mood to eat right now. U go ahead, I'll eat later.
Keifer: fine, if u r eating later then I will eat later too. Let's train together then.
Jay: don't skip ur breakfast keifer. Go eat ur food.
Keifer: I won't if u won't.
Jay: u r so stubborn.
Keifer: only for u.
Jay( sighing): fine. Let's go eat.
We both walked together to the dining table and sat down on our seats.
Robin: wow, looks like u got her to come. Good job keifer.
Keifer( smugly ): no big deal. She couldn't resist me.
Jay: don't fly too high Mr. Watson or else u might get shot down.
Keifer: u r the only one who can do that mrs. Watson. No one else can even touch me.
Jay: then let's test that during training shall we. U, section e and my brothers against my team. What do u say?
Keifer: u got yourself a deal. When I win, I expect lots of kisses from u.😏😘
Jay: we'll see who wins and who loses😏
Mj: this is going to be fun😏
We ate our breakfast and then went to train.
Jay: alright everyone. Let's do some exercises, warm up, test ur strength and then we spar.
Keifer: boring. Let's just get to the fight part already.
Edrix: yeah, we don't need to exercise first. We already did a lot of that the last time. Let's just fight already.
Jay: fine, u said it not me. Don't come to me when u lose.
Keifer: we'll see about that. Get ready wifey, u r not going anywhere after I win this.
Zia: if u guys r done with ur foreplay, can we get to the fight now.
Jay: we weren't doing a foreplay.
Ren: keep telling yourself that😏
Jay: alright let's just start.
Jay's POV
They all divided in groups. On one side was the whole section e and my brothers and on the other side was all the boys from my team.
Me, all the other girls and godfather sat at a little distance from them. Some even brought popcorn, snacks and drinks to enjoy the fight like it's a movie.
Jay: ready.
" ready ".
Jay: fight!
And the chaos began. Some got punched in the face, some in the stomach, some got kicked in the shin, some kicked in the stomach while we girls and godfather cheered from the sidelines, hooting, passing comments, enjoying our snacks and having fun seeing the boys fight like they r in some cartoon.
Rakki: look at eren groaning in pain on the ground.
Lia: he is definitely not making any babies now.
Freya: that's a good thing considering how many girlfriendsssssss he has.
Mica: look at ci-n clutching on to Kent's back like a monkey.
Rakki: hey!
Jay( chuckling ): she's not lieing though.
Rakki: still.
Iris: hey girls, look at keifer. He is punching and kicking his way through the crowd like his life depends on it.
Grace( grinning ): that's bcz it does.
Aya( teasing ): yeah. If he wins, he gets lots of kisses from jay.😏
Ella: or maybe something more😏
Jay( blushing ): shut up.
Zia: we can't when u blush like that every single time we tease u😉
Jay: whatever. Just focus on ur boyfriends instead of teasing me.
Alys: they r fine. Look how they r fighting with section e boys. Clearly they will win this.
And they did. It was so close to a tie but eventually section e and my brothers got defeated by my team. Keifer tried to fight even when he had no strength left but was outnumbered and lost as well.
Alys: see, what did I tell u guys.
Mica: that was brutal..... but fun to watch😁
Godfather: r u all ok.
Felix: do we look ok to u?
Eren( groaning in pain ): obviously we r not ok. Just wait till I get my revenge on whoever kicked me in the shin.
Tony: sorry bro, my bad🤣
Jay: told u all that u will lose.
Rory: found that out the hard way.
Eman: we r never going against u again. It hurts badly when we do.
Jay: come on let's get u guys to the clinic to rest and recover. We still have a fight tomorrow.
We took them to the clinic where they got checked and got there wounds cleaned up.
I sat beside keifer's bed on a chair.
Jay: learned ur lesson yet mr.watson.
Keifer: never. Remember, I'm too stubborn for that. Next time, I'm going to win for sure.
Jay: u still want to fight them after losing.
Keifer: ofc. Just wait, I'll get my prize.
Jay( chuckling ): my stubborn man, u don't need to attempt to die just for some kisses.
Keifer: they r not just any kisses jay. They r kisses from u. I'll fight the whole world if I have to if it means being kissed by u.
Mason: this man has gone bonkers in love.
Ren: no redemption for him now.
Keifer: well it's a good thing I don't want redemption. I just want my queen.
Freya( smirking): someone's flirty today.
Eren: r u sure he didn't get hit in the head or something. He seems to be talking nonsense now.
Felix: u wouldn't understand it bro. No matter how many girlfriendssss u get.
Jay: ok guys stop it now. We still have a lot of work to do.
Thyme: yeah u all still need to learn to use a gun.
Alex: and u need some more fighting lessons.
Tony: now that we fought with u guys. We know where each and every single one of u is lacking. We'll work on that tomorrow. Today let's get u all trained with guns.
Drew: I agree. I think it's best not to move too much for now.
Eren: yeah it still hurts. How hard do u even hit man. Did u forget that this was just training.
Tony: sorry man, it's just some instincts and reflexes. I can't help it.
Blaster: I'd be scared to be on the receiving end of that.
Josh: now I'm beginning to think that u r just overreacting.
Eren: maybe u should get kicked in the nuts by Tony too and then let's see if I'm overreacting.
Josh: nah bro, I'm good.
Aries: Can't a guy get even a second of peace here.
Jay: nope. There is no such thing as peace when u r with section e.
Denzel( proudly ): that's right. Here in section e not a single day is dull and is always chaotic.
Ci-n: and we love it.
Godfather: ok everyone, it's almost lunch time now. So get some rest, eat ur food and then u can practice ur shooting.
" ok godfather "
We helped the guys get to the dining table and then we all started eating our lunch.
I leaned a bit towards keifer so that only he could hear what I'm saying.
Jay: don't do stupid things like that again. Look how much u got punched on ur face and how hurt u got. It's not worth it.
Keifer: every touch from u is worth more than u understand. Even just a kiss is worth being punched in the face and getting kicked in the guts for. Besides I'm fine. If u really want to make the pain go away quickly then just give me a kiss.
Jay: is that ur miracle cure for everything now.
Keifer: it is and will be forever.
Jay: fine but not now. Just eat ur food.
Ci-n: hey what r u guys whispering about.
Jay: nothing.
Mj( smirking ): don't disturb them ci-n, it might be something important😏
Ci-n: like what?
Thyme: u r too young to understand that🤪
Jay: stop it guys. We were just talking, u know like normal people do, nothing else.
Robin( smirking): yeah, sure. U were just talking. We r totally convinced😉
Jay: can we just eat our food and then continue with our training.
Kent: ok fine.
We finished our food and then went to the shooting range.
It was a bit chaotic to get section e to be serious for more than 5 minutes but after being scolded a bit by keifer and kuya angelo and being scared by seeing me holding a gun that I was not afraid to use, they started taking things seriously.
Me and my team taught them the basics and then showed them how to shoot and hit the target perfectly.
We didn't want to teach ci-n to use a gun bcz he is still a kid and shouldn't be playing with guns but then godfather swooped in and started telling us about the time we first held a gun and how little we were so we eventually agreed to teach him too. He was way too excited to use a gun.
It took a bit of practicing but they eventually got the hang of it. They were doing pretty well for beginners. We practiced shooting all evening and soon it was dinner time. So we stopped there and went to eat dinner.
Jay: u all r doing pretty good. Keep it up and u will do great during the fight tomorrow.
Felix: it's all about the motivation jay.
Jay: and what's ur motivation.
Rory: u ofc. Our mutya. For who else will we be training this hard for. We r doing this all for u and we always will.
Edrix: u got that right.
Keifer: see, told u they r ready to do anything for there mutya.
Jay: thank u for doing this🥺
Kuya angelo: u don't need to thank us jay. Everyone here is family and we don't leave our family member behind or let them suffer alone.
Ci-n: yeah, ST. Either we r all in this together or not at all.
Calix: and we all have become a meddler like u so there is no way we r not going to be involved in anything.
Freya: that's true. Ur meddling has affected all of us. Now we r meddlers like u too.
Alex: I think one meddler is enough. We already can't handle one, how r we supposed to handle a whole group of them.
Jay: u say that like u aren't a meddler too.
Alex: hey!
We finished our food like that only, with lots of teasing, laughter and surrounded by the familiar warmth that I only get when I'm surrounded by them all.
Then we all said our good nights and moved towards our rooms.
Me and keifer changed into our pajamas and then sat on our bed.
Keifer: feeling better than this morning now.
Jay: yeah. Today was chaotic but perfect. I loved the part where u fought ur way through the crowd like ur life depended on it🤣
Keifer: it did! I had to win to get my kisses.
Jay( teasing ): too bad u didn't.
Keifer( groaning ): don't remind me. U know what, it doesn't even matter, I'll get my kisses. I have my whole life to get as many kisses as I want, which is infinte.
Jay: that's a lot. U sure u'll be able to get that much.😏
Keifer: don't underestimate me wifey. I have my ways😉
I just rolled my eyes at him.
Keifer: ok but seriously, r u sure u r fine jay.
I looked down and played with my hands on my lap.
Jay: I'm fine.
Keifer: u don't have to hide anything from me, u know that right.
Jay: Ik.
He held my chin softly and made me look at him.
Keifer: do u trust me jay.
Jay: ofc I do.
Keifer: then tell me what's bothering u so much.
I didn't say anything.
Keifer( quietly): is this about ion.
I simply nodded.
Keifer: jay, there is nothing between me and ion. U have nothing to worry about.
Jay: but u were engaged to her. I almost lost u keifer. I can't stop thinking about what would have happened if u couldn't stop the wedding from happening. Would I still be heartbroken, waiting for u to come back and explain everything. To find out if u ever truly loved me. Would u just leave the phillipines for good. Would u never come back to us, to me. Would I be able to endure everything and move on from u even when I know I could never do that. I tried keifer, so much to move on, to not think about where or how u would be. If u had found someone else, if u had forgotten about section e, about me. And then I found out that u were engaged to her from someone else. I also find out that she was ur first kiss. I'm tired of trying to act fine, trying to keep calm whenever I hear about u and her.
Tears started streaming down my cheeks even when I tried to stop them. He cupped my cheeks and wiped away my tears.
Keifer: I'm sorry u had to go through all of that jay. Believe me, I never wanted to hurt u. And I promise I would never hurt u or leave u ever again. Ion was my past but only u jay r my present and future and no one can take ur place. U r my queen. She was my crush, my first kiss but u will be my last. U r my one and only true love. U r the only one who ever loved me and cared for me after my mom. U turned me from a monstrous boy to a man that u see before u today. I never felt the way I do when I am with u jay. Even if I couldn't stop the wedding, u would still be the only one for me. I don't care about her bcz u r my wifey, my queen, my entire universe and I would do everything in my power to come back to u every single time. I'm sorry u had to find out this way. I'm sorry u carried everything with u for so long but u don't have to any more. I'm here now and I'm not going anywhere ever again. So let me be the one to carry ur pain, ur scars. Let me be the one to make u happy, to be ur light in the dark. Share everything that's been eating away at u. Let me be the one to heal u and be with u forever.
Jay: I love u keifer❤
Keifer: I love u too jay, until scientists find the end of the universe❤
Then I kissed him. Soft, slow and filled with confessions we couldn't express in words.
We let go after a while and rested our foreheads on each others.
Keifer( breathless): see, I told u I have my ways to get my kiss from u.
I chuckled breathlessly.
Keifer( breathless ): hey, r u ok now.
Jay( breathless ): yes. I truly am fine now.
He kissed my forehead.
Keifer: good. I can't see u hurt, especially bcz of me. Next time, let's just talk things out, ok.
Jay: ok. Let's sleep now. We have to train and then have a fight to go to tomorrow.
We both laid down on the bed and hugged each other tightly.
Keifer: good night wifey.
Jay: good night keifer.
Then we slept cuddling each other.

( I know u guys r getting a bit impatient but ty to understand that I am totally slumped with my studies, family and decorations for diwali and I'm even posting the same book on wattpad so I have to rewrite the chapter there as well. I'm facing a bit of writer's block too. I barely have enough time to write let alone edit the chapters. Still I posted a new chapter today. I will be posting more chapters but not regularly for the time being. I have 3-4 holidays from school so I have more time to write and I'll try to post one regularly but pls be patient if I'm not able to.🙏
