Keifer's POV
Day 1:
It's been hours since we got to know that jay is now in coma. It's morning now. The world keeps on moving but mine has stopped entirely.
I haven't moved all night, haven't eaten. The others haven't either. Our tears have dried. Silence filled the room, the only sound coming was from the steady beeping of the machine. We haven't slept all night. All eyes on jay, full of hope and pain, praying and begging for her to wake up.
My hand is still wrapped tightly around hers. I whisper soft things in her ear every now and then, hoping she'll hear them and come back to me. We all tried to say something, we even bribed her with food, hoping she'll wake up after hearing our pleas. But it was of no use.
She's still pale. Her hands still cold. Bandages wrapped all over her body, tubes and needles everywhere.
The silence broke when the room door opened and in came the doctor and a nurse holding a tray of meds, bandages and antiseptics.
Doctor: I understand that this is a very devastating time for u all but u need to rest and take ur meds as well. U r still not healed, it's only been a few hours. Pls get well yourself first. I'm sure whoever this girl is to u, she wouldn't want to see u like this.
Nurse: it's time to change ur bandages and take ur meds everyone.
Doctor: u also need to go back to ur rooms to rest and recover.
Keifer: I'm not going anywhere.
Mason: none of us r.
Thyme: we don't care. We'll just crash here on the couch or something. It's a big room, we all can fit in it. But we r not leaving.
Godfather: let them stay. They won't listen to anything u have to say. Just give them the meds and change there bandages here only.
Doctor: as u say sir.
They changed our bandages, gave us our meds and then left.
Godfather: u all should rest now.
Robin: but-
Godfather: no buts. Think of it as an order. If jay was awake, she would say the same thing. There r enough couches and a few beds here for u all to rest.
Mateo: ok godfather.
They all did as he said. Some sat on the couch. Some laid down on the bed. Some even sat on the floor. The girls except the ones involved in the fight, catered to there boyfriends. I just sat on the chair beside jay, watching everyone and then turned to jay again.
The memory of jay taking care of me after that incident on result day came back to me. My lips curled up a bit.
Keifer: look at these ulupongs jay. Some of them r just exaggerating to get attention from there girlfriend. U know, I used to do the same with u. If u were awake u would have probably hit me after knowing that. I hope u wake up soon so that I can tease u again and see u all flustered and shy.
Godfather: keifer, u should rest too. U have been hurt much too.
Keifer: it's nothing compared to the pain of seeing jay like this. I'm not going to leave her side for even a second.
Angelo: jay wouldn't want u to be like this keifer.
Keifer: I still haven't forgiven u so don't talk to me.
Godfather: it's no ones fault keifer. Jay made her own decisions. What's done is done. Don't turn on each other now. We need to stay United at a time like this. Jay wouldn't want any of us to fight with each other.
Keifer: fine. But only for jay.
Edrix: hey, I have an idea. Why don't we just join there beds.
Rory: yeah, that way keifer won't leave Jay's side and he would be able to rest a bit.
Tripp: yeah let's do that.
Angelo: fine.
They joined my bed with Jay's. I laid down on my side facing jay. I gently hugged her by the waist and nuzzled my face in the crook of her neck.
Keifer: u still feel the same jay. U r still my jay, my universe. Wake up soon wifey.
I didn't even know when I fell asleep hugging jay.
Author's POV
While keifer was sleeping, everyone else were silently crying and deep in thought about there time with jay.
For ci-n it was when he became STs with jay. Became her roommate. Her bestie. He remembered the time she defended him, took care of him, smacked him when he got too annoying. How he used to steal her snacks, tease her about keifer. How she was always there for her and acted like his ate, his family.
For felix it was the time she helped him get back in the basketball team. How she was always there for everyone. How she used to bring a smile on everyone's faces and fix everything even when she was breaking from within.
For kit it was the time she gave him courage to tell everyone that he was gay and helped with his and mayo's relationship.
For eman it was the time she helped him with his family's restaurant.
For drew it was all the times she helped his family and forgave him even after all the times he hurt her.
For eren it was the time she and section e took the beating of his girlfrendssssssss even though they wanted to kill him afterwards.
For aries it was the times she used to call him ari when they were little and how she had grown into a strong, independent woman even after all the hardships she went through. How she didn't stop annoying him and being there for him even if she knew he hated her.
For Jay's mom it was the times jay used to come running to hug her when she was little and how she was willing to give her another chance to be her mother even when deep down she knew that jay was very hurt bcz of her.
For kuya angelo it was the times she acted reckless, always got in trouble but somehow managed to save others bcz of it, how she got on his nerves but deep down he felt proud every time she helped others and how much she reminded him of himself.
For edrix and freya it was the time she and rory helped edrix confess his feelings for freya and now they were a couple.
For denzel and grace it was the time she helped solve their problems and bring them together and how big of a role she played in grazel Jay's life.
For calix and mica it was the time she helped calix get back with mica and helped them both be happy again.
For her team it was all the times she helped them, solved their problems, how she took care of them and treated them as her family, helped them survive the big missions and fights by using that damn code red, how she helped multiple of them confess their love bcz of which they r together and happy today and most of all, how she helped them become a better and more powerful version of themselves.
There chain of thoughts and memories were disrupted by the loud ringing of a phone call which cut through the silence in the room. Even keifer woke up bcz of the sudden noise.
Keifer( irritated ): who's phone is it? And who the fuck is calling right now?
Kuya angelo took out the phone from his pocket and looked at the caller id.
Kuya angelo: it's Jay's phone. Some percing is calling her. Who's percing.
Everyone laughed a bit.
Keifer( groaning ): that's percy. Jay calls him that.
Aries: why is he calling right now?
Keifer: I don't know. Just pick up the call.
Angelo picked up the call and put it on speaker.
Percy: hey baby sistahhhhhhhh. What took u so long to answer the phone. Do u not miss my handsome face.
He said it so loudly that everyone had to cover there ears.
Angelo: can't u speak like a normal person for once percy. R u trying to make us go deaf.
Percy: boss? What r u doing with Jay's phone. Don't tell me u grounded her and took her phone away again.
Angelo: no but I wish that were the case. What do u want percy?
Percy: give the phone to jay. Tito and I want to talk to her. He's getting really excited for Jay's visit.
Silence once again filled the room.
Percy: hellooooo. Anyone there? What's going on?
Aries: she can't come to the phone right now.
Percy: aries baby? It that u? Don't tell me the phone is on speaker.
Ci-n: it is u uncircumcised brat. Now go look at yourself in the mirror or something and cut the phone.
Keifer: ci-n!
Percy: shut up u little brat. Just tell me what's going on? Where is jay?
Aries: as I said, she can't come to the phone right now so bye.
Percy: but why?
Angelo( frustrated ): bcz she's in coma ok. Now stop asking for her.
Tita gema: angelo, calm down.
Percy: what? When? How? Why didn't anyone tell me? That's it, me and Tito r on our way there right now.
He said and cut the call.
Before anyone could say another word, the door to the room opened up again and in came the last people they wanted to see right now - yuri and dylan.
Without wasting a second everyone got up and blocked there way at the door.
Keigan and Keiran were scared so they hid behind tita gema who was near jay and away from the crowd.
Keifer stood right in front of them beside godfather, angelo and aries and the rest were behind them.
Keifer( angry ): what r u two doing here?
Angelo( angry ): leave. Now!
Yuri( calmly ): we r here to see jay.
Dylan: how is she now?
Keifer: don't act like u both care. Just get out of here before things get ugly.
Yuri: we r on ur side keifer. We deserve to be here just as much as any of u do.
Aries( angry ): who the fuck do u think u r. U were the one who tried to kill her and keifer. U were the one who forced her into that fucking engagement. U were the one who sided with kaizer and r still trying to play the saint. She's like this bcz of u both. U dylan could have easily shot him and kill him right there and then. And u yuri u could have helped but no, what did u guys do, u stepped back, threw some comments at him and let jay handle the rest while u watched from a distance.
Thyme: we weren't in the state to help or control her but u both were. U could have prevented this by fighting yourself instead of letting her do the dirty work for u.
Godfather: now get out of here. And I'm not asking.
Dylan: atleast let me see keigan.
Keifer stepped forward and held him by his collar.
Keifer: don't u dare come near him or jay. I'll burn u alive if u do. Now leave. Both of u before I loose my control.
Yuri: atleast let us explain ourselves.
Angelo: there is nothing left to explain. Get out and don't u dare come back.
Yuri: u all r clearly not in the state to listen right now. So fine we'll leave but we'll be back soon.
Keifer: not if I have anything to do about it.
Then both yuri and dylan left. Leaving everyone angry and frustrated.
Godfather: don't worry, they won't be back. I'll triple the security. They won't even be able to set foot in this hospital without our knowledge and I won't let them get near jay.
Keifer: good.
Tita gema: u all should rest now or ur situation can get worse. I think keigan and Keiran should go back now. They're too scared now.
Keiran: no I'm not leaving ate jay.
Keigan: I'm not either.
Keifer: keigan, keiran, listen to tita gema. Go back to the base. U have school too so u should go back. Don't worry, ur ate and I will come to u soon. And u can always visit.
Godfather: u all should go back to ur room too. It's getting too crowded in here and u all need to sleep on a bed and not on a floor. U need proper rest to recover quickly.
Keifer: I'll stay here with jay.
Godfather: I thought as much. That's why ur bed is already here. And as for the rest of u all, ur rooms r beside this room so u can come here easily if u want to.
" Ok godfather "
Tita gema: we'll leave too. We'll be back with some food for u all.
Keifer: ok tita. Take care of my brothers for me.
She nodded and went out of the room. The others followed behind her.
Now it was just keifer and jay in the room. Keifer went back to his bed besides jay and laid down.
He caressed her hair gently as if she was made of glass and kissed her forehead.
Keifer: wake up soon jay. I need u here beside me, smiling, blushing and full of life. I love u, until scientists find the end of the universe.
Then he kissed her softly on the lips, hugged her by the waist, rested his head near hers and again slept beside her.

( ok guys this deserves atleast 15 comments. Ik I'm breaking ur heart and making u cry but I'm crying too😭. I couldn't stop crying especially while writing the memory part of everyone and I tried my best to include everyone and every memory I could think of😭😭😭😭🤧
Don't worry guys, I'll heal the emotional damage that I gave u soon enough. Just trust the process ok.
