Chapter 315 - Magneto Kills Professor X! Iron Man Proposes to Black Widow!

A question naturally arose in Tony's mind:

Since Universe 1610 has both Magneto and Wanda, could they also be father and daughter?

Though the diary didn't explicitly state this, Tony found it highly plausible. The fact that Magneto was implicated in Wanda's assassination attempt served as strong evidence. Moreover, the Magneto of Universe 1610 appeared to be an immensely powerful supervillain, one who nearly destroyed the world!

???

A string of question marks popped up on Ultimate Tony's forehead.

When did Hank create the Ultron Robot?

Well, Hank had been kicked out of the Ultimate Team some time ago, and they'd lost contact long ago. Ultimate Tony naturally hadn't kept track of him. He had no idea what Hank had been up to!

So, he'd been secretly researching robots all along?

And the robots he created had actually fallen in love with Wanda?

What a joke!

Even if Hank could truly create robots with such high intelligence—so advanced that they possessed their own emotions—the idea of them falling in love with humans was just absurd.

They weren't even the same species!

Robots didn't even have genders. Did the biological drive for opposite-sex attraction still exist among them?

No matter how you looked at it, it was ridiculous!

As for Ultron assassinating Wanda...

Was the diary trying to warn him that Wanda was in danger?

Ultimate Tony's expression grew serious.

If that was the case, he had to warn Wanda.

Though their relationship wasn't particularly close, they were both members of the Ultimate Team. They'd fought side-by-side several times. For every reason—personal, professional, and moral—Ultimate Tony couldn't just ignore it.

After a moment's thought, Ultimate Tony made a silent decision.

When I get back, I'll thoroughly investigate that Hank guy and figure out what he's up to!

I'll see if he's really tinkering with Ultron Robots as the intelligence reports suggest, or if he's gone undercover as Ant-Man or something.

You have to admit, Old Man is Old Man—a top-tier villain in any universe.

Especially in this one, where Magneto even killed Professor X!

Even with the entire Ultimate Team—Thor, Valkyrie, Iron Man, Captain America, Wasp—they couldn't match Magneto.

He even effortlessly seized Thor's hammer!

Remember, at that time, Thor had already been acknowledged by Odin and become the true Thunder God.

Not like his current reincarnated state, without divine power, just a mortal all-in-all, relying entirely on high-tech gear.

"Poor Charles in this universe," Tony from Universe 199999 couldn't help but sigh.

Since becoming acquainted with Charles, an inter-dimensional contact, Tony had become somewhat aware of the relationship between Erik and Charles.

In simple terms, the two were a pair of "fated rivals" who loved and hated each other.

Though they had always been at odds, they were once inseparable best friends.

When faced with true threats, they would join forces.

Examples include the "Days of Future Past" plan, their confrontation with Apocalypse, and their battle against the Black King.

Moreover, the Magneto from TRN414 even went so far as to save ordinary people.

He wasn't a true villain in the strict sense of the word.

But the Magneto from Universe 1610 seemed to be a different story entirely.

He had actually killed Professor X!

This truly stunned Tony.

Furthermore, the Magneto of Universe 1610 appeared to be far more powerful than his TRN414 counterpart.

Two gods from Asgard, plus several Avengers—how could such a "luxurious" lineup be no match for Magneto?

He had even stolen Thor's hammer.

It seemed the diary was right: Magneto was no single individual could handle.

It would require an entire team, or even multiple teams.

*Oh, wait, the Avengers in Universe 1610 aren't called the Avengers; they're called the Ultimate Team.*

But that was irrelevant to Tony. He didn't dwell on it; it was just a different name.

The nature of the group remained essentially the same.

Of course, the specific members differed somewhat.

After all, the Avengers never included Valkyrie or Wasp!

And then there was Thor.

From the diary's tone, it seemed the Thor of Universe 1610 had been on Earth for quite some time.

He had even acquired high-tech equipment and joined the Ultimate Team before fully regaining his divine power!

So, how long had Thor actually been exiled on Earth?

What Tony didn't know was that the Thor of Universe 1610 had a very different experience from his own universe's Thor.

He wasn't exiled; he had been directly reincarnated as a mortal!

He had even joined a superhero program in Norway and been transformed into the Thunder God Thor.

But until now, the whole world believed that "Thor" was merely a codename for the man.

They thought he was just an ordinary person with high-tech equipment, nothing more.

No one could have imagined that Hammer Bro, the mortal, was actually the true Thunder God!

"Valkyrie?"

"Who is she?"

Ultimate Tony of Universe 1610 frowned slightly. "Who's this guy now?"

"Is she even on the Ultimate Team?"

"Absolutely not!"

And Thor joining everyone to fight Magneto? That made Ultimate Tony even more bewildered.

"What the hell is going on here?"

"Thor has never cared about the Ultimate Team!"

Thor had once refused to join the Ultimate Team altogether, disapproving of Captain America's foreign policy.

Later, when Hulk went berserk, Nick Fury agreed to Thor's conditions, and he reluctantly joined the team.

Even then, Thor had only visited the Triskelion three times!

Now he's threatening to quit again.

Given Thor's attitude, would he really join everyone to fight Magneto?

And if he had fought Magneto, wouldn't he know about it himself?

*What the hell is this diary talking about?!*

*Could it be... that the diary is describing events that haven't happened yet?*

The thought struck Ultimate Tony, but even he found it absurd.

*Could this thing actually predict the future?*

Yet as he scrutinized the diary's tone more closely, Ultimate Tony realized, *Well, it really does seem to be the case.*

What did "back then" mean?

What did "now" mean?

This mysterious diary was actually describing the future!

No wonder Ultimate Tony was so baffled by its contents—he'd never heard of any of it before.

So all along, it was talking about things that were going to happen in the future?

That's a bit ridiculous, isn't it?

But as he considered it further, Ultimate Tony's smirk froze.

If this was some bizarre, unexplainable diary, then predicting the future wasn't entirely impossible, was it?

After a moment's contemplation, Ultimate Tony refocused his attention on the diary.

*Fine.*

*If this diary wants to show me the future, I'll read it carefully and see what it has to say.*

After all, the future was relatively easy to verify!

*Thor... is actually the Thunder God?*

*No way...*

Ultimate Tony couldn't help but shake his head.

Everyone on the Ultimate Team knew Thor had always claimed to be the Thunder God and often regaled them with stories about him.

But they all dismissed him as mentally ill, believing he suffered from severe delusions, and never took his words seriously.

Yet the diary claimed Thor was truly the Thunder God?

And that his lack of superpowers was simply because he hadn't yet received Odin's approval?

*Bullshit!*

Ultimate Tony remained deeply skeptical.

Until the diary's ability to predict the future was proven, he wouldn't easily trust any of its information.

Poor Hammer Bro, the true Thunder God, treated like a lunatic.

And given the current timeline, it won't be long before the Ultimate Team captures him and locks him up as a genuine patient.

If I'm right, Loki's already started pulling strings in the shadows.

Just waiting for Iron Man to propose to Black Widow.

And for the truth about Hulk being Bruce Banner to leak.

Can't say I didn't expect this. Loki's using the same old tricks.

The way the Ultimate Team handled the situation was far more clever than how the Avengers were handled in Universe 199999.

At least the Ultimate Team actually tried to kill Banner!

Nick Fury personally drugged Banner, and Iron Man personally dropped the bomb!

"Is this Thor's fate?"

"It's the same even in another universe!"

Tony Stark from Universe 199999 chuckled.

It was the same in his own universe, where he'd been treated like a lunatic. And now, in a parallel universe, it was no different.

It seemed Thor was destined to be treated like a lunatic forever.

And it looked like things were even worse for him in Universe 1610—he was actually captured by members of the Ultimate Team.

"Wait a minute."

But soon Tony's brow furrowed slightly.

In his own universe, Thor had been hospitalized immediately after arriving on Earth.

Only after that did many events unfold, leading him to become an Avenger.

But judging by the diary, in Universe 1610, Thor was captured because Loki stirred up trouble?

It seemed the sequence of events in Universe 1610 differed significantly from his own universe.

For example...

He actually proposed to Black Widow!

How ridiculous is that?!

And I mean, *super* ridiculous!

Alright, Tony had to admit he sometimes couldn't control his lower half.

And Black Widow was undeniably a stunning beauty, the kind that really made men's blood boil.

If the opportunity arose, a Playboy like him would naturally want to have some fun with a woman like that.

But!

Playtime is playtime, but marriage is no joke!

Tony knew perfectly well that even if he wanted to have fun with a woman like Black Widow ten thousand times, it would only ever be about satisfying physical needs—nothing more.

And yet...

The other him actually proposed to Black Widow?

*Dude, are we that unstable?*

Black Widow is a spy!

Unless... the Black Widow in Universe 1610 isn't a spy?

And what the hell is this about Nick Fury and the other him teaming up to assassinate Bruce Banner?

Just because Bruce Banner revealed he was the Hulk?

Over something so "trivial"?

Okay, the Hulk has caused plenty of chaos, but is that even a big deal for S.H.I.E.L.D.?

Nick Fury could handle that with a snap of his fingers!

Could it be that the Hulk in Universe 1610 committed even more heinous and severe acts?

But surely not enough to warrant Nick Fury and himself plotting to assassinate him, right?

Tony couldn't vouch for Nick Fury, but the Playboy was certain he himself would never do such a thing!

So, what the hell was his counterpart in Universe 1610?

"How did he know?"

"How could he know!"

Ultimate Tony of Universe 1610 froze in place.

The diary mentioned his plan to propose to Black Widow!

But Ultimate Tony had only mentioned this to Jarvis twenty minutes ago.

Apart from that, he hadn't told anyone else—not even Black Widow!

So how did it get out?

Could this diary truly predict the future?

Ultimate Tony hesitated.

After several seconds, he refocused on the diary, his brow furrowing slightly.

Was the diary suggesting that Loki was behind the leak of Hulk's identity and Thor's capture by the Ultimate Team?

Of course, the idea of him proposing to Black Widow was absolutely out of the question; that was Tony's own heartfelt desire.

So, the diary mentioning this event was likely just marking a timeline.

Was it telling him that Loki would launch his scheme shortly after he proposed to Black Widow?

If that were the case, Ultimate Tony was genuinely curious to see how things would unfold.

He wanted to find out whether the future foretold in the diary would prove true!

However, if the diary was telling the truth, the situation would be quite tricky.

After all, the Hulk had killed over 180 people in Manhattan!

If his identity remained hidden, it would be one thing. But once exposed, public outrage would erupt instantly.

To quell the public fury, the government would inevitably sentence Bruce Banner to death.

No one could save him!

Not even Nick Fury!

Moreover, Ultimate Tony knew Nick Fury well.

Even if he had the power to protect Banner, he wouldn't do it.

Such a move would only turn the Ultimate Team into public pariahs.

That old hard-liner would definitely eliminate Banner!

So, Ultimate Tony could only silently pray in his heart that the Hulk's true identity would never be exposed.
