On the Helicarrier, Thor had come to his senses.
"Damn it! That damned witch controlled me again!"
Thor felt utterly humiliated as soon as he remembered that for the second time he'd ended up a toy in Amora's hands!
Fortunately, this time Amora didn't make him shout anything like "for the glory of the queen," so at least he preserved a bit of dignity.
"Uncle! This time, I truly thank you endlessly!" said Thor gratefully.
If it hadn't been for Alaric, not to mention what might've happened to him, but once Loki completed his plan, it would have surely brought devastating catastrophe to Earth!
Thor, as the Great Prince of Asgard, had to bear responsibility for that.
After all, Earth was one of the Nine Realms and fell under Asgard's protection.
"Thor, you're too weak," Alaric looked at him with disgust.
"It's not my fault! Amora's magic is too strong!!"
Thor blushed and shouted.
"I don't care. You're Thor, and you let some woman control you, aren't you ashamed? Think about yourself for a second!"
Alaric said that and walked off, disappearing instantly into the control room.
"That's not how it was! Listen to me! Hey!!"
Alaric's words left Thor without footing or dignity!
He would've gladly said that next time he saw Amora, he'd smash her with Mjolnir, but when he remembered her powers, a cold sweat broke out instantly.
Against Amora, it's still better to send Valkyrie.
"I don't know if my uncle will be able to stop all this."
Thor cursed to himself and then spotted Hulk next to him.
"Big guy, you fought well!"
Thor smacked Hulk on the arm.
"Weak god!" Hulk suddenly looked at him with disdain and walked on.
Thor: ???
"Wait! Let's fight again!"
"Damn it! I was under control, I wasn't in my right state!!"

"Fury? Are you alright?"
Steve returned to the control room.
Natasha and Hawkeye also arrived.
"I'm fine, and the Helicarrier is repaired," Fury replied.
"What the hell happened? How did all this happen so suddenly?" Steve was confused.
"That was Alaric's doing," Sif explained.
"Alaric? That mage you talked about? Where is he?" asked Steve.
"I'm here," Alaric suddenly appeared.
"You're Alaric?!"
Steve, Natasha, and Hawkeye all turned their heads at the same time.
"Alright, enough talk, there's a problem in New York," Alaric nodded.
Steve: "New York?"
"That's right. Loki used the Tesseract to open a portal, and his alien army has arrived. I think it's time you helped save the world."
Fury, who had restored communications and received the news, looked extremely serious.
"Don't worry, I will definitely catch Loki!!"
Thor entered and said angrily.
"Thor?!"
As soon as Steve saw him, he raised his shield and looked at him cautiously.
"Hey! Calm down! I was under magical control, I'm fine now."
Thor quickly explained.
"Phew~" everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
Luckily, Thor was only controlled and not truly a traitor.
Otherwise, with Thor's power, maybe only Hulk could stop him.
Speaking of Hulk…
"Hulk!?"
A massive green silhouette completely blocked the doorway, Hulk knocked twice, smashed a big hole open and walked in.
This sight made everyone step back, swallow hard, and cautiously watch the huge figure.
If Hulk went berserk right now, he could turn the entire control room into dust in a minute.
"What do we do?"
Natasha asked quietly.
"Stay calm…" Steve was tense too.
"It's fine, Hulk won't be a problem."
Finally, Alaric spoke.
As long as he was here, he had a hundred ways to deal with Hulk.
"By the way, where's Tony?" Steve turned.
"He was controlled by the enemy too," Fury said helplessly.
Out of all the Avengers he gathered, the only completely normal human was Captain America!
The rest either switched sides or were monsters!!
The Avengers' first mission hadn't even begun yet, and they were already on the verge of falling apart!!
"Damn that 'queen'!" Fury cursed.
"Thor, do you know who controlled you?" Fury suddenly asked.
"I do. She's an Asgardian witch, was in prison until Loki freed her. She can control men with her voice."
Thor explained.
"You Asgardians again!!" As soon as Fury heard that, he couldn't help but roar.
Damn Asgard!
Damn magic!!
And you, Thor!!
If you hadn't come to Earth, half of this wouldn't have happened!
Good thing I didn't leave you here!
Fury even felt a hint of satisfaction when he remembered that.
"Alright, we'll talk about Asgard later. Fury, what's the situation in New York?"
Steve interrupted the argument and asked.
"See for yourself."
Fury activated a holographic projection and let them see how New York currently looked like hell.
Countless aliens flew through the sky and streets, destroying and burning everything.
Gigantic creatures resembling space whales rampaged through the air, toppling skyscrapers.
High above, through the spatial rift, like black rain, more and more enemies poured in nonstop.
"Damn!"
"So this is what Loki was aiming for!?"
"F*** Loki!!"
"We have to help!!"
"I'll pilot the jet!"
Natasha shouted.
Everyone looked at the apocalyptic scene of New York, full of worry, fear, anger and growing rage toward Loki!
Steve and the others immediately wanted to go help.
Just as they were about to head out, a circular portal opened in front of them.
On the other side was a street in New York.
They could clearly see a group of Chitauri destroying buildings.
"What are you waiting for? Don't you know time is money?"
Alaric was the first to step through, glanced back at the stunned group, and called out.
"That's magic!?"
"Incredible!"
"I want to learn magic too!"
"It's too practical!"

Everyone looked in awe at Alaric's portal.
As soon as the portal disappeared, they gathered, looked at the swarm of enemies, and their expressions turned serious.
"Hulk, go play," Alaric patted Hulk on the arm.
"HULK!!" Without a word, Hulk immediately charged into battle!!
"As for the rest of you, figure it out yourselves."
Alaric was getting ready to leave as he spoke.
"Mr. Alaric, and you?" Steve asked.
"I'm going to take care of those monsters up in the sky."
"Then thank you!" Steve looked at the giant creatures, feeling guilty for putting that on him.
"Sure, but your condition…"
Alaric looked at Steve, Natasha, Hawkeye, and the battered Thor and frowned.
Before they'd even started the fight, their own people had already worn them down. That in a way proved how capable they were.
"Let me heal you first."
Alaric raised his hand, scattered a radiant light over them, and then flew off.
Steve and the others felt their strength, energy, and wounds quickly recovering and were thrilled.
"Guys! It's time for us to step onto the stage!!"
