Alaric arrived in the sky and flew directly into a Leviathan beast that opened its jaws to bite him.
Alaric flickered, appeared in front of the giant beast, and punched it!
The entire space shook under Alaric's blow, a rippling spatial fissure spread like a wave from the Leviathan's head to its tail.
Then, with a crash, the Leviathan shattered into pieces and rained down onto the street below.
"WTF!" Hawkeye cursed when he saw the scene.
"This is a mage!?"
"I feel like he fights better than Hulk!?" Steve was amazed.
"You might not know, but the last one he hit like that was almost as strong as Hulk…"
Natasha shrugged.
"…Alright, let's leave the sky to Alaric, we'll evacuate civilians below. Clinton, find a good position. As for Thor…"
Steve was assigning tasks.
"I'll find Loki first and see how far he's gotten!"
"Alright! Everyone knows their task!"
"Hey, Thor, can you give me a ride?" Clint pointed to the rooftop above.
"Sure!"
Thor didn't refuse; now they were all comrades, they had to help each other!

Shhh!
Gwen fired a web and kicked a Chitauri into the wall of a skyscraper.
"They're tough! And there's too many of them!"
Gwen was breathing heavily and paused for a moment.
Since leaving the Temple, Gwen had been rescuing people nonstop.
But the number of aliens was starting to exhaust her.
There really were an insane number of them!!
"Ahhh! Help!!"
A cry for help echoed below and Gwen jumped immediately.
A man was being chased by several Chitauri; he was screaming in panic and trying to escape.
But he must've been unlucky, while running, he tripped over something and fell.
"Oh my God!! Someone save me!!"
The man was nearly in tears, crawling backwards, trying to drag himself away from the monsters.
"Here I come!!"
Realizing she wouldn't reach him in time, Gwen fired a web, pulled hard, and dragged the man out of range of the attack.
"Here I come!!"
Another voice shouted; Gwen looked up and saw a green figure rushing in, knocking away an alien with a single punch, then taking down the others in a few moves.
"You are?" Gwen was confused. That voice sounded strangely familiar.
"Ge… hey, it's me!" Peter turned and shouted.
"Peter?!" Gwen approached in surprise.
"Yeah, it's me! I'm a superhero too!!"
Peter's costume resembled Captain America's style, but in dark green, with a dark green mask and a tight suit.
On his hands were metal claws, like some kind of fusion between him and Wolverine.
"Wow! Peter! It's really you!?"
Gwen was shocked!
She knew Peter's genes had changed, similar to hers, but she didn't know he had already become a hero!
She hadn't heard of any new hero appearances.
"This… your costume and everything, you made it yourself?!"
"That's right! I modified it especially based on Captain America's uniform!" Peter said proudly.
"And the claws on your hands?"
"Since I can't transform into a lizard anymore, and bare fists aren't strong enough, I made these claws to replace the lizard's talons!"
Peter raised his hands; the metal clinked.
Ever since he was resurrected and gained lizard powers, he'd been preparing to become a superhero.
Using his idol and Gwen as inspiration, he designed the uniform and waited for his moment to debut.
And then, alien invasion.
Peter immediately knew this was his moment!
He suited up and went out to fight and save people.
"Awesome! Peter! I'm proud of you!!"
Gwen happily patted his shoulder, thrilled with his transformation.
"I just want to be like you and Mr. Alaric, and help others as much as I can!"
Peter smiled humbly.
"Then let's go together!"
Gwen and Peter started clearing the street.
"Hey! Peter, do you have a name? What should I call you?"
Gwen asked, if he was hiding his identity, he needed a hero alias.
"I'm Lizardman! You were bitten by a spider, you're Spider-Woman, I've got lizard genes, so I'll be Lizardman!"
Peter shouted, slashing a Chitauri with one claw.
"Great! Let's go, Lizardman!"
Gwen wasn't sure how good that sounded, but it sounded sincere enough.
"Let's go! Spider-Woman!!"

At Stark Tower, Amora had finally found Loki.
"Loki!!" she shouted as soon as she appeared.
"Hm? You… this isn't good!"
Loki turned and his expression changed immediately, Amora was back to normal?!
Loki knew that under the influence of the Mind Scepter, Amora wouldn't call out his name like that, nor look so angry.
As soon as he realized that, he leapt like a spring and bounced away.
"Loki, you… damn you!"
Amora wanted to say something and control him, but she underestimated his reflexes.
She watched him flee and was furious.
"Your Majesty!"
Tony stepped forward and addressed her respectfully.
"Hm? You…"
Amora looked at Tony and remembered he had already been under her control.
She wanted to free him, but then got an idea.
"Tony! Go bring Loki back!!"
Amora commanded.
"Yes, my Queen!!"
Tony flew off after Loki!
Loki, seeing Iron Man approaching, frowned.
He still didn't understand how Amora had been freed.
And now that she was herself again, it meant Loki had even more enemies.
Even though the portal was already open, clashing with Amora made Loki feel completely unsafe.
And above all, where was Alaric?

"Cap, I see Tony," Hawkeye reported from the rooftop.
"What's Tony doing?!"
"Uh… looks like he's chasing Loki? Did we just get a plot twist?"
Hawkeye sounded unsure.
"Any way to reach Alaric? Get him to turn Tony back to normal?"
Steve asked tensely.
"No chance."
Hawkeye sighed, he couldn't even see where Alaric was right now, let alone contact him.
