The streets of the Imperial Capital had turned into complete chaos. People were running in every direction without knowing where to go, and the streets that were once filled with merchants and travelers were now covered with broken carts, fallen stones and scattered belongings. Screams and cries echoed between the buildings as everyone tried to escape the creatures that had suddenly appeared.
The monsters looked like twisted versions of humans. Their bodies still had a humanoid shape, but their arms had become much larger and longer than normal. Some had multiple appendages growing from their backs, while others had sharp claws or strange limbs extending from their shoulders and sides. Their movements were wild and difficult to predict, and they attacked anything that came near them.
One of the creatures slammed its massive arm into the ground.
