Chapter 36 - chapter 36

The elf queen tells her personal guard to escort them out of the castle, as she will need to speak to the knight army about this.

As the queen goes to meet the knight Traves, he tells her that they have received a report about an unknown group of individuals that went and rampaged through a town on the outskirts of the kingdom.

"They were recorded wearing dark clothing and silver armor on top, and were equipped with strange projectile weapons according to a scout who was watching this entire situation unfold from afar."

!!!

"Black clothing and silver armor with strange weapons, you say?"

"Those might be the same people I saw in the projection." Sheimer thought.

"The people who attacked the nearby town are members of a group I've seen through my projection magic; they are members of the 'Rat King's army'." She tells Traves

"The Rat King? I will send soldiers to Fexivia's outskirts in an attempt to keep these invaders in check!" Traves tells his queen as he salutes her before walking away.

"Please do," The queen replies before getting interrupted by Clad.

"Wait!"

Clad says it would be wiser to see if the dragon from earlier is an enemy or not before attacking, which she agrees with.

"I'll go check myself," Clas says as he walks out of the room before dashing away

(Meanwhile with Jill)

Jill and her parents were sent to a room for guests by the maids. The room was white with drawings og trees and writings that seemed similar to cursive, a window that went horizontal instead of vertical, which led to a balcony with a view of the capital from above, with 3 beds and a table made of white stone was well put together.

The three of them started talking about the darkheid family issues like Jill being the only legitimate successor.

Jill thinks about contacting Arion and Amirah, which Mordaar says is useless, as they didn't answer their phones when he tried to call them, and that they probably broke or lost them, as Amirah isn't the type of person to ignore his calls.

"Being the head of the family isn't as bad as you think, Jill. You may have a lot of work to do, but that really depends on whether you put the work on the assistants or not." Mordaar says as he leans back on one of the three beds, which made Jill think.

"How did our household become so great with a head as lazy as him?"
