Seeing that there were no available battle arenas and I had some space near me I released my pokemon.
"Petilil", "Piplup", they called as they were released, "okay you two, soon we are going to battle, Petilil already has some experience but Piplup, while you won't battle today, your first battle will be here. For now I want you to see the other competition"
After speaking Petilil looked fired up and ready to battle, meanwhile Piplup nodded towards me then turned to watch the battles.
Watching Noah and Kyra battle was interesting, Noah was against a trainer who was using a Machop, while Kyra's Misdreavus was against a Golbat.
Noah preferred a more head on style with his Shinx, but when he switched to Wooper he became more cautious, using mud shot and water gun a lot to keep Wooper out of close combat range.
On the other side Kyra with Misdreavus preferred their tricks, Misdreavus was constantly weakening her opponent with growl and confuse ray then buffing with calm mind followed up by nasty plot.
While I was watching Kyra's battle, Kyra suddenly whistled, Misdreavus paused for a slight second then shifted into her next attack, in a burst of speed Misdreavus moved, blocking out the sun in the arena.
The other trainer, seeing that Misdreavus stopped moving, took advantage of the opportunity, "Golbat, quick attack!"
Kyra didn't give any new orders, Golbat got closer and closer, Misdreavus was still blocking out the sun.
Just as Golbat was about to hit Misdreavus, Misdreavus disappeared.
"Golbat?" The poor thing, not having a target to hit with quick attack, started panicking, desperately trying to find Misdreavus.
Until, from my point of view Misdreavus appeared right behind Golbat, then smashed a shadow ball right into its wide open backside.
"Golbat?!" its trainer cried out in shock, as Golbat was launched out of the sky and into the ground. When the dust cleared Golbat wasn't looking so good, while it wasn't knocked out, the Golbat seemed really close.
The trainer quickly called out "Golbat, return", with that the Golbat disappeared, before the trainer rushed off he threw some money at Kyra then zoomed off towards the pokemon center.
Kyra just signaled to Misdreavus, who just floated over, picked up the money then gave it to Kyra, after that she waved then tapped her pokeball and disappeared inside.
With Misdreavus done, Kyra made her way to the bleachers full of trainers giving her thumbs ups, and congratulating her on her victories.
Seeing that Kyra was done I made my way to her original battle position on the arena, my pokemon noticing me moving followed after me. Arriving at my position, I looked at the crowd, "Any takers? We will be exchanging money upon victory?"
It wasn't long before a boy that looked one year older than me confidently made his way to the other side.
Turning to my pokemon who were at my side I looked at both of them, "Piplup, I want you to watch how Petilil does. Petilil show Piplup the results of our training.
"Petilil", "Piplup, they both responded. Petilil moved onto the battlefield, turning back to the trainer he was tossing his pokeball into the air, seeing that I was done he threw his ball onto the field.
"Come on out Geodude", "Geodude" Now with both of us ready the battle commenced.
"Geodude, defense curl!"
"Petilil get in close and use energy punch", we each called out what we wanted our pokemon to do.
Our pokemon reacted in the ways we wanted to, as Petilil got closer to Geodude, the trainer made his next move.
"Geodude tackle", at his words the Geodude came closer to Petilil.
"Petilil, continue the attack, but dodge the Geodude"
Petilil dodged the tackle then the energy punch landed causing Geodude to fall back.
With Petilil dodging his initial attack the trainer frowned, "Geodude rollout"
"Petilil don't let it hit", for the three minutes as Geodude kept speeding up from rollout Petilil was easily dodging the rollout. The trainer seeing this started sweating, utterly losing the confidence he had earlier.
"Geodude stop and use rock polish"
"Petilil, finish this with a double energy punch"
The Geodude having barely finished its rock polish started to move when Petilil struck, with Petilil's super effective attack the Geodude was knocked out.
"Geodude!!" the trainer called as he rushed over to his pokemon, Petilil moved back over to me, "congratulations Petilil, did you see that Piplup? Piplup?"
"Pipluuuuppp" in a small voice she responded
While I congratulated Petilil I looked down toward Piplup and chuckled. Piplup was holding her head and was slightly swaying. She must have really tried to watch the fight and got dizzy from watching Geodude's rollout.
Picking up my silly penguin I put her in Petilil's usual spot in the head of my hoodie, at some point the other trainer had recalled Geodude and made his way over to me.
"That was a great battle....", I tried to be supportive with a usual gg but he just handed me the money and walked off, hanging his head.
With my first battle won I turned to the crowd, "Now then, who's next?"

After almost the rest of the afternoon of battling I was with Noah and Kyra, each of us were holding a wad of cash.
"I got five thousand pokedollars, Noah, Kyra?"
Looking more imperiously, Noah made a fan, I made five thousand and eight hundred, Kyra?"
Turning her head away from us, she mumbled "fourty five hundred"
Noah was still on his high horse, "I'm sorry, what was that? I'm afraid I could hear you over the sound of all this money in my ear."
"Fourty five hundred", Kyra now irritated faced Noah. Looking him dead in the eyes "And how many of your pokemon are currently knocked out?"
At that Noah deflated, Shinx and Turtiwg had taken out a majority of his battle opponents, but only his Wooper wasn't knocked out.
Seeing Noah deflate Kyra was emboldened and continued on, "And besides Noah, I only have one pokemon while you have three."
Noah, just pointed towards me, "alright then, explain why Hikari has more than you, she only used Petilil."
Petilil, had knocked out several more trainers pokemon, the few times she got hit were from area attacks, but that was meaningless since she knew mega drain. It would just take a little time before she would be back to full health.
While Petilil wasn't damaged like Wooper, she was tired, but proud of herself.
At Noah's words Kyra was knocked from her horse, now on top of the horse I couldn't resist. "Because my Petilil is strong and won't lose to some rookie trainers."
"Hey Hikari, what's that?" while I was preening under their attention, Noah noticed my poketch. Now being reminded of the clowns I sighed.
Holding my arm out so they could see it, I spoke, "This is a poketch, I got it from a salesman around the corner for free, all I had to do was find four clowns."
Both of them looked surprised, but hearing the word free they were both interested, "and where are these clowns?" Kyra asked
"One by the burger restaurant, then the pokemart, outside the school house, and in the central park area" Listing all of their locations on my finger tips, I looked at my two friends.
"Just go to the salesguy around the corner, find the clowns, then answer a basic question to get a ticket, turn in all four and you get the poketch. I'll just be in the pokemon center, you two can go find them."
"Okay, thank you Hikari, since you're going to the pokemon center could you take my pokemon with you?" Noah asked, "mine too," Kyra added.
"Yea, hand them over", they both handed me their pokeballs, "alright good luck" I said as I put all their pokeballs in my bag.
They both nodded then headed to start the challenge, remembering something I called out to them, "be careful when you go to the school house, that clown's a real character".
Hearing me, they both looked confused, before shrugging and waving towards me over their shoulders, they'll probably be fine, I thought as I made my way to the pokemon center.

Noah pov
"Well that was interesting" I said, "you can say that again" Kyra added
We had just gotten our third ticket from Dopey, the clown that Hikari said was originally by the school house. It turns out after Hikari left, Dopey got arrested again.
Apparently one of the school kid's parents was a politician and Dopey found out, and beat them up when they came to pick up their kid. We had gotten our third ticket from him while he was in a jail cell.
"So all that's left is the one in the park?" I said as I turned to Kyra.
Kyra was in my opinion an interesting person, whenever I first tried to talk to her when we were still in school, she would either lower her head and not respond or respond with as little words as possible.
That was until, she started opening up some time after she got her Misdreavus, after that she started opening up more, causing her to become one of my best friends.
While she may be complaining one moment or another, I know she'll have my back even if she won't like it.
"Yea, the only one left is the one in the park." Kyra said
We made our way through the city to head to the park, while we were walking I couldn't help but think that I missed the quieter life of Twinleaf town. I loved all the new experiences especially with the Wooper and Quagsire.
I couldn't wait to be back on the road, but first we needed to find someone, then we would be set for funds.
By now we had made our way to the park, I could finally breathe, less traffic, less concrete walls and just nature. I just wish I had my team so I could let them get some air, maybe blow up a boulder or two, that would be nice.
"Noah, Noah, earth to Noah" feeling her tap my shoulder, I finally snapped out of my daze, "What's up Kyra?"
She just gave my dry look, "Were here, there's the clown", looking over to where she pointed, there indeed was the clown.
"Alright then, lets go", We moved over to his show that was currently going on, placing ourselves in the middle of the crowd we made ourselves comfortable to watch the show.
"Thank you, thank you, now for my next trick I will need a volunteer" The clown said as he leaned forward, then exaggeratedly almost falling off the stage he was on.
Smiling at his enthusiasm I clapped, after his recovery he noticed me, "You, my special assistant. Come on up." The clown said as he pointed towards me.
Patting my back Kyra chimed in, "go on Noah, go and join the other clown on stage."
Hearing her words the clown twitched, then turned his full attention to Kyra, on second thought you there, next to the boy come on up.
Kyra paused, before the clown's words registered and she immediately started backtracking. "No, no, I'm good, I think Noah here would be a better assistant."
Seeing her trying to escape I pushed her forward, "You love the spotlight, don't you Kyra? Here's your big chance."
At my push she stumbled forward before regaining her footing, "What? No. Don't you dare, this isn't funny."
"Come on kid, go on stage", "Yea we want to see the act", some of the crowd behind me started egging her on, seeing that there was no way out of this, Kyra grit her teeth, before smiling and waving toward the crowd.
"Of course, what fun!" before hissing underneath her breath, "I'm going to kill you."
With that Kyra made her way to the stage, would this be funny yes, worth it hopefully. With Kyra now on stage the act began.
"Now then little girl, let me ask you a question", Kyra stiffly nodded, "Are you familiar with my pokemon?"
Turning slightly Kyra, saw the pokemon, "Houndour", "very good child" the clown joyfully answered back. Dribbles then started pirouetting in a circle around Kyra, while his Houndour started doing backflips, being careful to make sure his hat stayed on.
The crowd was loving Dibbles antics, and seeing how awkward Kyra looked. After a minute of that, the clown prepared his next trick.
"Alright then, you wonderful people tell me what is better than one Houndour?" He said as he faced the crowd.
"What?" we all cheered back
"Two" he said as he pulled out a pokeball, and another one appeared, as the other one appeared, it looked Dibbles who slightly nodded then it looked towards the other Houndour who also nodded.
Then they both locked on to Kyra.
Oh no, is all I could think before they both pounced on Kyra, then started relentlessly licking her face. The crowd burst out into laughter, while Kyra struggled. I jumped onto the stage to pull them off her.
Seeing my actions the clown sighed then snapped his fingers, instantly the Houndours got off her. Pulling Kyra up, as she wiped her face on her sleeve, "Alright that's my show, thank you ladies and gentlemen.
"Yay" the crowd cheered, as they started separating.
With the crowd slowly disappearing the clown turned toward us, "sorry about that little girl, whenever I hear someone like you, I can't resist and - well you just experienced what happens."
Noticing that there were few people around Kyra became more vocal, Ptuu, "I got some in my mouth" Kyra complained, turning my attention back to the clown as he was playing with his pokemon.
Noticing my attention he looked towards us, I guess he saw the yellow strips sticking out of Kyra's pocket since they stuck out like a sore thumb, Dribbles pulled out two tickets.
"For you both being such good sports here are the poketch tickets."
Kyra hearing jumped to her feet, "What!? Noah didn't have to make out with two Houndour!"
Me and Dribbles both stepped back avoiding the slobber she was flinging around, with all her rapid movements.
"Well no use in complaining come on Kyra, Hikari is waiting for us at the pokemon center"
Clenching her fists, she looked as if she suddenly had an Idea, feeling a sense of danger I moved to bolt away.
"Clown, grab him" Kyra said, I felt Dribbles grab onto my arms. With Dribbles restraining me Kyra moved in front of me, oh no.
Now I was sweating, "Kyra, let's talk about this, you don't need to do this", Dribbles during all this was maniacally laughing.
"Oh I will, and I'm going to enjoy this" then she charged, "Kyra wait wait waii-"
"Hahahaa-" then there was a pause before two screams were heard.
In the park that day there were four eggs cracked.
