Noah's pov continued
uuhhh, me and Dribbles were both groaning on the ground, clutching our crotches after Kyra's kick, she might have not been the most athletic in our group, but man, she could kick.
"That's what you two idiots get, now Noah pick yourself up, let's go get our poketches". Hands on her hips Kyra still had a frown on her face but I could see the satisfied smirk she had.
Still groaning I responded back, "sure, give me a minute or five"
Giving a sigh of exasperated sigh Kyra just looked at me, "Oh for crying out loud, how bad could that have hurt? Didn't you or Hikari call me the slowest of our group?"
"That was Hikari, but that doesn't mean you have weak legs, you just don't have our level of endurance." Finally recovering enough I pushed myself off the ground and sloppily made my way over to Kyra.
Remembering Dribbles, I looked over my shoulder, he was fine still on the ground but he had both of this Houndour to keep him company. "Come on Kyra, lets go see Hikari"
"You think this is over, I have never been so humiliated in my life, so prepare for round two" after her words she charged towards me.
This time however I wasn't being restrained and I was ready for her, I dodged to the side, with a quick flick of wrist I already had a lollipop from my shoulder pouch in my hand. Quickly taking off the wrapper I jammed the candy into Kyra's mouth before she could recover.
"Mmph!!" she gave a surprised sound, but after tasting the lollipop she calmed down. Taking the lollipop out of her mouth she looked at me, "your offer is acceptable, you are spared."
The benefits of being the snack machine, I always had the right candy for any situation, "Now that you're calm lets go get our poketches then head to the pokemon center, you also could clean yourself up there too."
After my words Kyra had a realization, quickly sniffing her sleeve, she recoiled back. "Yea, let's go to the pokemon center."

Hikari pov
I was sitting on one of the lounge chairs in the lobby when I saw Noah and Kyra walking in, getting up I made my way over to them, as I got closer I noticed that they both had poketches. Another thing I noticed was a weird smell, and that Kyra's face was shiny.
"So how was your hunt?" I said but Kyra kept walking past me, heading straight for the counter to where nurse Joy was. I turned around to Noah giving him a confused look.
He explained what happened, with Dopey, and Dribbles. I could only feel envious at having missed Kyra's first kiss.
"He also forgot to mention how I kicked both of them in the nuts". During Noah's story after cleaning her face, Kyra had come over to us.
Noah, now looking at Kyra, couldn't resist making fun of her, "so which Houndour was better?"
Kyra just flipped him off, "the one you call your mother"
After that, I guess Noah actually looked at Kyra "Oh my Arceus, Kyra you have arms!?"
"Yes I have arms?" Now Kyra was confused, realizing what Noah meant I also realized it to, "Noah, you actually got Kyra out of her hoodie!"
Kyra always wore her hoodie, it could be the middle of summer and she would still wear one. I could probably count on one hand how many times I had seen Kyra without her hoodie.
"Well that's a great observation from the both of you, Hikari can you hand me Misdreavus's pokeball." Kyra said while sticking out her arm.
"Can I have my team too? I should call home while I remember" With Noah's words both me and Kyra remembered to call home.
After handing them both their pokemon we went to the call room in the pokemon center, we were the only ones there and there were multiple of this sort of microwave looking box that had a camera pointing at us.
We all decided that we wanted to see each other's families, we let Noah go first, He introduced his parents to his new pokemon. They both really loved Wooper, and Wooper just seemed amazed at the shining moving screen.
After Noah ended the call, it was my turn. It took a few seconds to connect but when it did we didn't see my parents.
"Shinx, Shin-, Shinx!" We saw my dad's Shinx, after Shinx realized it was me he ran off. Shinx loved sleeping on the couch, but he hated hearing the phone ringing so dad taught him how to answer it.
And to go get him if Shinx recognized the person on the other end, soon enough my family was on screen. "Hi mom, hi dad, hi Leavanny"
"Hi Hikari, have you made it to Jubilife? My dad asked, "Yes I made it to Jubilife with Noah and Kyra."
"Hello Mr and Mrs Sato" Kyra and Noah waved, then we filled them in on our adventure, including Kyra's kiss despite her protests.
"I love you all, I'll call you again soon."
"We love you to sweetie, call us soon"
We each said our goodbye's then ended the call, turning to Kyra she understood that it was her turn and we switched places.
The call took awhile to connect, we were all mentally debating whether or not to try again when the call connected and what we saw was interesting to say the least.
"Oh hi Kyraaaaa"
"Tina? What's going on?"
It was Kyra's sister Tina who answered the call, but Tina did not look in the best state. Her irises looked huge in her eyes, she was covered in some pink powder and in the view of Kyra's house that we could see the house looked wrecked.
"THERE she is, get her!!" We heard Kyra's dad say.
"You'll never take me alive, come on clutterbuck we're going on an adventure"
Then we saw her turn around and jump, when she jumped she dodged her dad's tackle, but she landed on and broke the glass coffee table, then she ran off somewhere.
"Honey!! Get the net" her dad yelled
"I got it -" crash, midway through Kyra's mom talking Tina must have broken something.
"Dang it Tina!" With that her dad picked up a blanket and charged forward.
"Do you think your dad will be alright?", "honestly no, I don't know who to worry for more. Tina if my dad actually catches her, or if my dad can't catch her and Tina gets out of the house. Hearing me and Kyra's conversation, her mom realized we were watching.
"Sorry Kyra, can you call us back this isn't really the best time"
"I CAN SMELL COLORS" we heard Tina yell
"Mom, what happened?"
She sighed, "Long story short, Tina had a huge hidden stash of fun dip and pixie sticks and now is in a sugar rush, listen call us back when you can, I got to go"
Then she rushed off, Kyra just ended the call, "now what do we do?" Kyra asked, completely failing at diverting the topic.
Both me and Noah knew it was a lousy attempt but seeing her embarrassed face we both gave her a break. "I'm going to train Piplup" I said, "I still need funds so I am going to go back to the battle arenas, what are you going to do Kyra?" Noah asked.
At Noah's question Kyra looked towards the windows, the sun was about to set "I'm going to go explore near the outskirts of the city in the forest, I'll probably be back late."
Narrowing my eyes I looked at her, "how late?"
She looked deep in thought, "at the latest I should be back at the pokemon center around noon"
"So you're camping out?" Noah asked
"Yes, and no, I'm too lazy to set up a whole tent, I'll just set up a hammock a blanket with a fire nearby, a thermos full of ramen and I'm good"
"And for Misdreavus?" I asked, she just shrugged, "ehh, I saw some kids earlier, her scaring them should be more than enough to last the night." Kyra said.
"I'll see you both tomorrow"
"Bye Kyra" Noah said, "if you die make sure we can recover your body" I said. "Screw you Hikari" Kyra said while waving over her shoulder as she walked out of the pokemon center.
"I'm going to find a more private battle area to train in, so see ya later Noah" , "Bye Hikari"
I made my way out of the pokemon center, deciding to head to the park. I found a great spot, far enough away from the sidewalk most people would ignore it, and because the sun was basically gone very few people would come here.
"Come on out Piplup", "Piplup", "okay Piplup, first show me what moves you have, she showed me a variety of moves, pound, bubble beam, growl, and peck.
Okay, not bad, I could work with this, "Piplup, I want you to learn water gun, so first I want you to take bubble beam and just turn it into a stream of water after you manage that we'll move on"
"Piplup", Piplup nodded, then started training.

Kyra pov
Making my way through the forest, the air felt calmer, just the sounds of nature and the occasional Pokemon.
"Come on out Misdreavus", "Misdreavus" she called as she was released. While she was looking I filled her in on the details.
"Misdreavus, we're going to spend the night out here. Hopefully we can find something interesting before we go back to Jubilife tomorrow."
Looking at my new poketch I saw the time, currently it was seven, would probably settle down near one
"Let's go", "mis"
We continued on, while walking we saw the true beauty the night brought out. The stars in the sky, the nocturnal pokemon, and the moon.
Some time passed and while I was walking I found the perfect clearing. It had a little stump in the middle and was surrounded by a flower field. Even the moon seemed to enjoy this spot because it was perfectly illuminating the stump.
Now sitting on the stump I took in a breath, slowly exhaling I took out my ocarina. Misdreavus, seeing I was going to play, floated closer to me, perching herself on my head.
Taking a quick breath, I started playing unlike with the Wooper and the Quagsire it wasn't anything special. Once those songs were done I played the song Hikari hummed again.
I had to remember to ask her what it was called when I got back, the song was short but in the short time of me playing I felt different, not in any physical way, but mentally I could tell I was being watched.
Looking around I couldn't see anything, getting off the stump I stretched, seeing that I was getting ready to continue forward, Misdreavus made herself more comfortable on my head. Heading in the general direction of my stalker I moved.
Deeper and deeper I went into the forest, but still no sign of my stalker, feeling uncomfortable I tapped Misdreavus.
"Can you float next to me? There's someone or something watching us."
"Misdreavus"
Now with Misdreavus on guard I felt confident that she could deter anything from any battle ready Pokemon.
While I was walking I heard some Zubat nearby eating some fruit. The funny thing was most of the time the fruit was bigger than them.
There was still a presence following me, but every time I looked behind me there was nothing. While I was walking I heard a banshee-like scream. Pausing for a second I looked in the general direction.
Smiling slightly I called out, "Nice try, Misdreavus already exhausted that card years ago"
I heard a sad sigh, moving to where the moon's light would shine brighter I found another clearing. Sure enough the presence stopped just before the tree line.
Looking around the clearing, unlike the first one there were no flowers, no the ground around was scorched black.
Near the middle there were remnants of a house. Since I had nothing better to do I made my way to the collapsed building. As I got closer I felt a new presence.
Unlike the one at the tree line that seemed curious, this one seemed to be judging me.
Now in front of the building, looking through the broken window I couldn't see anything. No light was on either.
Moving to the front I knocked on the decaying door, "Hello? Anybody home?"
Whatever inside gave a startled cry, before rushing to the door. Instead of opening the door, a pokemon appeared by passing through the door.
"Dusk", A Duskull, holding in externally but failing internally a squeal of delight.
Remembering the description of this pokemon I didn't react, I just spread my arms. The Duskull seeing that I wasn't moving, it moved closer to me.
He just looked at me, floating around me. After a minute or two now done with his observations he just stared at me with his eye.
MIsdreavus while Duskull was observing me was on guard the entire time in case he tried anything. I guess the Duskull liked my energy because he didn't seem bothered by my presence, in fact he seemed to really like me.
That was good, that meant I wasn't a bad kid, now with Duskull calm I turned around and brought out my pokedex and started scanning the tree line.
Sure enough I soon heard that familiar noise, ding, Ghastly the gas pokemon.
No wonder I couldn't see the pokemon, Ghastly were most of the time basically invisible unless they wanted to be seen, they also didn't like the wind, so that's why he was still near the trees.
"Come on you two, let's make a new friend."
"Mis", "Dusk?", Duskull tagged along but seemed surprised that I invited him to come along. Either way he would have followed me until sunrise.
Making my way back to the tree line I passed some trees before sitting down. "Gastly? Are you there?"
For a second nothing happened, then suddenly two giant eyes appeared right in front of me. Smiling but raising my eye at the pokemon, "nice try".
"Gastly", the pokemon just looked down, that wasn't the funny reaction he wanted. Gaining an idea I looked at the time, it was almost midnight, too far to make it back to the city but that wasn't a problem.
"Hey, do you all want to do something fun?"
"Mis?", "Duskull", "Ghastly!!", the most enthusiastic was Ghastly, "ok then, Misdreavus can you float up and see if you can spot any fire light?"
"Misdreavus", she nodded confidently then disappeared. Soon Misdreavus came back down from the trees. "Any luck?"
"Misdreavus!" She nodded, then made a stick nearby float, pointing in the direction of the camp.
"Then lets go scare some people!", "GHASTLY!!"
The first group had some little kids with an older teen, not wanting to wake them up in the middle of the night. We didn't do anything too extreme, they would only wake up to some minor inconveniences.
Like marker on their faces, and some stuff misplaced, nothing too bad. Then we made our way to the next one. With all the walking my feet were starting to hurt but I was having fun with the new ghosts.
I even picked up a fruit and threw it at Ghastly. He panicked a little but the fruit passed through him, Duskull and Misdreavus made fun of him for most of the way to the next camp.
This camp had two tents, the first one had two boys I didn't recognize but the next one, "hey I recognize those two idiots."
It was Lucas and Dawn, I knew them, meaning I could mess with them more. Restarting the fire that seemed to have only recently gone out. Entering the sibling's tent I easily found what I needed.
Since Lucas was working with professor Rowan he had a journal filled to the brim with his important notes. Literally that was what the title was called, he kept this book on him at all times like a lifeline, the book in question was being held in his arms like a teddy bear.
Taking out some random bits of trash I had with some receipts, I was ready. While I was getting that ready, the ghosts were not idle.
I had instructed them to put the Pikachu in the first tent on a blanket and carefully move him close to the pile of leaves on the not yet ignited fire.
"Dusk?" Duskull with his singular red eye was looking straight at me, "don't worry Duskull we're not hurting anybody we're just giving them a good scare. Don't worry I have his real journal right here in my bag."
All of us were hiding in some bushes nearby, until Misdreavus learned will o wisp I was stuck with using some matches, with the fourth try the leaves finally started to burn.
"Pika, pi, PIKA!!" The originally drowsy Pikachu upon walking up was greeted with the sight of fire. "Pikachu", "Hu, wha? Pikachu is something going on?"
"PIKA PI" he yelled back, "What's going on?" Now both boys in the first tent were awake, soon they would come out and the real show would start."
"What happe--, where is it? Where is it?! DAWN WAKE UP MY NOTES ARE GONE!!" Now I could hear stuff being frantically thrown around in their tent.
"Are you two alright?" The older boy from the first tent now rubbing his eyes came out of his tent with the younger one.
"Uhhh, Lucas, calm down, I'm sure they're somewhere around here." Dawn groaned, "CALM DOWN HOW CAN I CALM DOWN?! MY NOTES ARE GONE!!!"
"Misdreavus, get ready", "Mis" we were ready for the second Lucas came out of his tent.
"Lucas, maybe you dropped them outside, just look" Dawn said, "YES, YES THAT HAS TO BE IT".
"Now" I whispered to Misdreavus, she used her ghost energy to make one of my receipts move out of the fire and move to their tent right as Lucas opened it, all he saw was a slip of paper burning right before his eyes.
His eyes turned redder than Duskull's, "NOOOO, DAWN I'M BORROWING PIPLUP", "Wait what's happe--" but before she could finish Lucas grabbed Piplup's ball and chucked it at the fire.
Dawn's Piplup must have been sleeping because it looked drowsy, and Lucas forgot to call out an order so Piplup had no idea what was going on.
"PIPLUPPPP!!" Piplup's butt was now on fire, Piplup was running around the camp holding his still flaming butt.
I was crying at holding back from bursting out laughing, Gastly was trying his hardest but either me or him would break first. As for Misdreavus and Duskull, they were laughing.
We would have all been discovered if not for Lucas's screaming at losing his notes and Piplup's own screaming.
"Pikachu help Piplup" the younger boy called. "Ash wait, Piplup, Stop, drop, and roll!" The older teen said.
Piplup must have heard the boy because the next second he was rolling around the ground. With all of Piplup's rolling he rolled right over the bush we were hiding behind.
Then we all froze, for a second we were just staring at each other, the first to react were the ghosts, they couldn't take it anymore and burst out laughing.
"Hey pfft, been heh awhile?" Nervously chuckling as I slowly backed away.
"Who ar--", the younger one now named Ash started to say before he was cut off.
"KYRA!!!" With a speed faster than a black guy with a tv, Lucas zoomed over practically teleporting right in front of me as he tackled me to the ground.
"KYRA WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY NOTEBOOK?!" I couldn't hold it in anymore, I burst out laughing right in his face. Lucas looked like he would have continued yelling if I didn't pull out his notebook and chuck it away from me.
Seeing his notebook Lucas grabbed it before it hit the ground and started inspecting it to make sure it was okay.
"Kyra? Kyra what are you doing here aren't you with Noah and Hikari?" Dawn with messy hair crammed under a hat addressed at me.
While I was still laughing, Dawn introduced me, "that is Kyra, she is also from Twinleaf town. Unlike me she loves ghost types and that is basically everything about her."
"Piplup!" Dawn's Piplup, now no longer on fire, had tears in his eyes as he yelled at Ghastly who was the closest to him. Ghastly just looked at Piplup, and much to the surprise of the pokemon just licked him.
Piplup recoiled and ran to Dawn to stop the bullying, which earned another round of laughter from the ghosts. "Kyra, can you explain why you're here?" In a no nonsense tone Dawn and Lucas stood over me.
"Haha fine I-", I explained to them as to why I was out here to find more pokemon to join my team. At that both Ghastly and Duskull looked eager to join me leading me to capture both of them.
I then continued on explaining how I had ran into my new team members and went to annoy some people and ran into them.
"That's great and all but can we go back to sleep?", "Pika" both Ash and Pikachu looked exhausted, looking at the time it was one thirty. "Yea, we can make our way to Jubilife tomorrow", the now named Brock said.
Then we all went to bed, I set up my hammock and quickly drank my ramen. Before I set the blanket I released my full team. Before I went to sleep Misdreavus said something to the other two.
"Misdreavus, Mis, Misdreavus", translation: we are now comrades and she is our leader. The other two nodded then snuggled in with me in the blanket.
They felt cold but with the blanket, the ramen in my belly and the night air, it was just right.
