Chapter 100 - Don’t Worry, I’m Invincible

Chapter 100 – Don't Worry, I'm Invincible

Kakashi's face turned red the moment he heard Yusuke's words.

That mole… It was an old wound that never truly healed. Ever since he was a kid, his friends would tease him about it, claiming it looked a bit too feminine.

Even though the mark didn't actually ruin his looks—in fact, it kind of added a subtle charm—it still annoyed Kakashi to no end.

There was a time when Yusuke convinced Kakashi to take off his mask. Coincidentally, Obito and Rin had shown up at the same time. The moment they entered the room and saw Kakashi without his mask, their reactions were instant.

Rin blushed like crazy, while Obito just stared in disbelief, studying his best friend's face. And when he spotted the mole…

"This mole… is seriously ugly," Obito declared, bursting into loud, uncontrollable laughter.

"You idiot," Kakashi muttered, shifting his gaze elsewhere as he completely ignored Obito and walked into the house. From that day on, no matter how many times Yusuke asked, Kakashi never took off his mask again.

"It's not a beauty mark. It's just a normal mole," Kakashi grumbled, clearly irritated. "Besides, I don't wear this mask because of the mole."

"Pffft… Hahaha! Kakashi, you're such a riot!" Yusuke burst out laughing, utterly shameless.

In the midst of the teasing and harmless banter, the three men of the Hatake household enjoyed their dinner together. Full of playful jabs and brotherly bickering, the atmosphere remained warm and intimate. It had been a long time since they'd spent a peaceful evening like this—not as shinobi, but as a normal family.

The Next Morning

Yusuke got up early and headed straight to the Hokage's office to meet Minato.

"Good morning, Minato-nii," he greeted casually as he stepped out of the Air Door.

"Yusuke? You came here on your own? Didn't you say you hated my office?" Minato greeted him with a teasing smile.

"Hahaha, I just missed you, Minato-nii," Yusuke replied lightly, clearly unbothered.

"Alright, what's the real reason? I know you didn't come here just to flatter me," Minato said, not buying it for a second.

"Haha, you really don't let anything slide, do you? Okay, fine. I actually need a favor," Yusuke said, scratching the back of his head.

"Save the flattery and get to the point," Minato sighed. There was no way Yusuke ever showed up without a reason.

"I want to sign a summoning contract with Mount Myōboku."

"Oh?" Minato blinked. "You're already ridiculously powerful. And don't you already have a pretty terrifying summon?"

If this had been about Kakashi, Minato wouldn't have been surprised. He'd always wanted Kakashi to form a contract with Mount Myōboku.

But Yusuke?

It felt strange. To Minato, ordinary summons probably wouldn't be much help to someone like Yusuke.

"I want to learn Sage Mode," Yusuke said frankly. "And for that, I need the teachings from Mount Myōboku."

"…Alright. Give me a second."

Without a hint of hesitation, Minato vanished in a flash using the Flying Thunder God Technique. Yusuke stood there, silent for a moment, touched by how quickly Minato trusted him.

A moment later, Minato reappeared with a large scroll in his hand.

"Here it is. The summoning contract."

"Thanks a lot, Minato-nii."

"Come on, let's give it a try," Minato said.

"Huh? Don't you have like… a pile of paperwork waiting?" Yusuke teased.

"Didn't you once say we need to balance work and rest?"

"…Touché. Let's go," Yusuke chuckled, activating his Door-Door Fruit ability and stepping into a swirling portal. Minato followed right behind using the Flying Thunder God.

A Remote Location

The two of them arrived in a quiet, secluded area.

"Alright, let's begin," Minato said calmly.

Yusuke nodded and began forming hand seals rapidly. But just as he reached the second seal, he suddenly paused… then slammed his palm to the ground.

"Summoning Technique!"

A single crow flew overhead.

That was it.

No summoned creature. Just awkward silence.

Minato stared at him in disbelief.

"Pffft… HAHAHA! So even our genius prodigy can screw up a summoning jutsu? And your hand seals… wow, they're slower than a regular Jōnin's," Minato laughed without restraint.

Honestly, Minato had come here mostly to give the toads a heads-up. He didn't want Yusuke to accidentally summon Gamabunta—especially since the two had a pretty nasty history.

Gamabunta was hot-tempered. Yusuke was… well, Yusuke. If those two met again, fists would fly. And Minato really didn't want to see his own summon get the beating of a lifetime.

But this? This was a surprise.

Yusuke stood there, deadpan, with dark lines forming across his face. He never needed hand seals in combat—his power made them obsolete.

In fact, even Kakashi was faster than him when it came to forming hand seals. Yusuke barely ever used the Summoning Technique to begin with.

"The second seal in that jutsu is Dog, not Monkey," Minato pointed out.

"Tch, what a pain. Who even uses hand seals these days? Only honest chumps would bother with that," Yusuke muttered.

Minato let out a deep sigh. Seriously? What does he mean 'normal ninja don't use hand seals'? Every ninja does… except this weirdo!

Yusuke gave it another go.

"Summoning Technique!"

A thick cloud of smoke erupted in front of them, slowly clearing to reveal—

A massive toad the size of a small mountain, with a cigar clenched between his lips.

"Minato, what the hell's going on? You called me out?" Gamabunta rumbled. "The war's been over for years, hasn't it?"

"It wasn't me who summoned you, Gamabunta," Minato said calmly.

"Whoa, you're huge," Yusuke said casually, stepping forward. "Mind if I squeeze by?"

"YOU?!" Gamabunta roared, instantly furious. He hadn't forgotten the beating he got from this brat in the past.

"Yep, it's me. Wanna go again?" Yusuke replied, flashing a cocky grin.

Gamabunta immediately reached for the giant blade strapped to his back, but—

"Gamabunta, stop!" Minato quickly stepped between them.

"Outta the way, Minato! That brat needs a lesson!"

"Minato-nii, let him be," Yusuke said with a lazy shrug. "I wanna see how tough he's gotten."

"But…" Minato hesitated.

"Relax, Minato-nii," Yusuke said, turning back with a calm, confident smile. "I'm invincible."

Minato could only sigh internally. Seriously? Shouldn't he be saying, "Don't worry, I'll hold back"?
