Chapter 163 – Tsunade's Fury
"How did the mission go?" asked a man with an orange spiral mask, his voice low and heavy.
"Hatake Yusuke is in Konoha," replied the shark-faced man without answering the question directly.
"Oh? I didn't expect him to return there," said the masked man—Uchiha Obito—his tone turning serious.
"That man also told me to deliver a message to you," Kisame continued casually.
"Oh?"
"If you dare lay a hand on the Nine-Tails' Jinchūriki… he'll kill you," Kisame said, his voice weighted with meaning.
Obito fell silent for a moment, then replied calmly, "Don't bother with the Nine-Tails for now. He's more trouble than he's worth."
He turned to leave.
"Wait," Kisame called out. "Even someone like Uchiha Madara fears him?"
"In my prime? Of course not," Obito replied coldly—and disappeared before Kisame's eyes.
Moments later, Obito reappeared in a dim chamber lined with countless Sharingan embedded in the walls.
"Obito," came a whisper from the shadows—Black Zetsu. "Don't touch the Nine-Tails yet. As long as he's around, you won't get the chance."
"Hmph. I know how strong he is. You don't have to remind me," Obito growled, his voice trembling with resentment.
Deep inside, that hatred burned.
If only he had been stronger back then… Rin wouldn't have died.
"Don't forget," Black Zetsu warned again. "He once made a pact with Madara-sama. Don't break it."
"…I know."

Meanwhile, in Konoha, the retrieval team led by Shikamaru had joined forces with Toneri.
Toneri crushed most enemies in seconds. The others were speechless—his power was on a completely different level.
But their opponents this time weren't ordinary.
Orochimaru had sent Kabuto Yakushi—a shinobi who could fight Kakashi on even ground. Even Toneri couldn't end the battle quickly.
"Uchiha Sasuke has defected," Tsunade said grimly, her hands folded before her chest as she glared at Hatake Yusuke.
"Oh."
Yusuke sat back casually, hands in his pockets, utterly unfazed.
"You're not surprised?" Tsunade pressed, her tone rising.
"What's there to be surprised about?" Yusuke replied flatly.
"Why didn't you tell me sooner?!" Tsunade roared, slamming her fist down.
The desk shattered into splinters. Yusuke jumped lightly back from the debris.
"Tsunade-sama, that's the tenth one…" Shizune sighed wearily, clutching Tonton in her arms.
Just then, Gaara and his team from Sunagakure entered the Hokage's office. Tsunade didn't look surprised—they had been summoned to assist. But her fierce gaze returned to Yusuke immediately.
"What's there to discuss?" Yusuke said lazily. "No one can stop a man from chasing his own ambition."
He lifted a finger. In an instant, the broken desk reassembled itself—whole and spotless, as if nothing had happened.
"Damn you!" Tsunade swung her fist again—only to find it halted midair by an invisible barrier.
"Calm down," Yusuke said, activating his Infinity to block her blow. "His heart's not in Konoha anymore. Even if I told you, you'd have no grounds to arrest him."
Tsunade clenched her teeth. "If you ever hide something like this again, I'll kill you!"
"I understand," Yusuke said dryly.
"Hokage-sama," Temari spoke respectfully, stepping forward. "We're here to offer Sunagakure's assistance. On behalf of our village, we apologize for the damage caused during the previous incident."
"It wasn't your fault," Tsunade replied. "We summoned you to help apprehend Uchiha Sasuke."
"We understand, Tsunade-sama."
"Good. Yusuke, take them to the field," Tsunade ordered.
"I'd rather not. I've got other things to do, Tsuna-chan," Yusuke said with a bored expression.
"Other things?! You're lucky I'm not making you capture that Uchiha brat yourself!" she shouted.
"Chikufuku just released a new flavor. I need to line up early," Yusuke said with a straight face. "Besides, Toneri's there. Nothing big will happen."
"You little—do you want to die?!" Tsunade roared, smashing the desk again.
The trio from Sunagakure could only stare in disbelief. They were half-tempted to split Yusuke's head open just to see what was inside.
A genius like Uchiha Sasuke was priceless to any village—yet this man acted like it was all a nuisance.
"Fine, I'll go. Happy now?" Yusuke sighed, restoring the desk once more with a casual flick of his hand.
Then he traced an arc through the air. A shimmering door of light appeared, revealing a vast green field beyond.
It had been a while since he'd used the Door-Door Fruit. Normally, his Infinity handled teleportation—but this time, he needed to bring others along, so physical contact was required.
"Come on, kids. Don't dawdle. I've got things to do," Yusuke said indifferently.
The three Sand shinobi stepped through the glowing portal without a word.
"That man infuriates me!" Tsunade growled. "He's got spatial ninjutsu and still acts lazy—it's infuriating!"
"Tsunade-sama, please calm down," Shizune pleaded. "Yusuke-sama's gone already… and I really can't fix this desk again if it breaks."
Tsunade inhaled sharply, forcing herself to stop before her fists flew again.

Elsewhere, Yusuke and the Sand team emerged near Naruto's position.
"This… is High-Level Space-Time Ninjutsu," Temari whispered, eyes wide. "Just how many secrets does this man have?"
"They call him the White Shura," Kankurō murmured, awe in his tone. "During the Third Great Ninja War, he was known as the God of Shinobi. Even at Hashirama Senju's age, they say he was stronger."
"Shukaku said the same," Gaara added quietly. "He told me never to provoke him. After our last battle, we came to… an understanding."
"Terrifying," Kankurō muttered. "I want nothing to do with him. He's strong—and completely insane."
Temari nodded slightly. "Pakura-sensei once told me he never thinks about consequences—just does whatever he wants. She said he once punched the Raikage in Kumogakure and nearly killed him."
"That's insane!" Kankurō's jaw dropped.
"Let's not talk about it," Temari said quickly. "He did save Gaara and let us go, after all."
"Hmph, you're the one bringing him up," Kankurō teased with a smirk. "Why do you sound so interested?"
Temari froze, cheeks flushing. Yusuke's face flashed in her mind—calm, flawless, and maddeningly composed. She scowled.
"Shut up, Kankurō. Let's just go help Naruto," she snapped.
Gaara simply nodded, his voice calm. "Let's move. We have no time to waste."
It was clear—he was no longer the lost, vengeful boy he once was. He had grown into a true leader.
